"Damn these guys are persistent." I said while dodging the laser fire. "It's not like I killed their leader or anything."
"Sir, you did kill their leader and destroyed their base. You also 'requisitioned' their stolen goods. You also released their captives." Aldion replied. I swear sometimes he understood the concept of sarcasm and other times he didn't.
"I know. But still. You would think they would give up after seeing most of their ships destroyed…. and seeing their base destroyed." Most people would run at this point. I still don't know why these guys aren't running.
"I presume that they are part of the Warrior race of Vimdire. They know no such thing as retreat and will persist until death. Anything else is sacrilegious."
"But don't they also have a code of honour too?" Pirates and honour don't go hand in hand that well.
"They do some just like to bend it. I'm guessing that they are thinking that because they fought and won they have the right to take what they want from the battle."
I guess that they won't stop then. Whatever, I don't need any more passengers so I guess I'll kill them. I brought up my turrets and fired. Their shields were torn through and ships destroyed. Quick and easy.
I safely delivered the hostages and 'all' of the loot to the local Galactic Guard station. When I delivered the hostages I found out that one of the hostages is the Granddaughter of a galactic Senator. I don't know how they got kidnapped, but they did. They were a cute little kid, only about 5 years old and well behaved, part of a humanoid race called the Sensior. They have brown skin, human eyes, and flowing hair. They also have horns that grow from the side of their heads. They are all very pleasing to the eye when they are fully grown. I had to stay at the station and was interrogated when I delivered the hostages.

After a couple of hours of interrogation and repeated confirmation that I was telling the truth, from the hostages, I was released. I was then contacted by the Senator and given a reward for saving her granddaughter, however accidentally it may have been. I was given a permit that allowed me to visit most Sub-Spaces in the galaxy. Very valuable and useful. I thanked the Senator and then left the station.
A couple days later
As the ship warped through the Sub-Space, toward the Sol System where I was informed that I was being requested for a meeting about a private contract, I relaxed against my couch in my room. I was checking my status.
Power: 1,000 (I decided that he now runs at X kph where x is the stat. Also 10 kg of weight lifting per 1 stat)
Dexterity: 100%
Constitution: Normal weapons cannot hurt you. Only sufficiently empowered weapons can harm you. (This means that only weapons with sufficient UE saturation or you know actual ship cannons can harm him)
Endurance: ~ 120 hours of strenuous activity before limit and chance of falling unconscious
UE Available: 120,000/120,000 units; 95% efficiency
Mentality: Eidetic memory, SuperComputer levels absorption and use of info
Soul Strength: Nearly unbreakable will, 600 units of UE absorbed per second while meditating 300 units per seconds passive absorption. This is added onto meditation absorption.
Attributes: Main: Abyss, Celestial, Production, Sovereign, Draconian, Spatial, Combat, Eternal, Mimicry.
Secondary: Mostly everything else
I've grown a lot. I've also completed a number of contracts. Currently I have a 100% success rate and a high satisfaction rating. My skills in everything have also grown. I'm growing quite nicely.
A couple of days passed and we arrived in the Sol System, home of the humans. I was told to head to Earth and head toward the Mercenaries Guild headquarters. I landed in the space port around the planet and took a shuttle down to the surface. We landed in the city of New York, the location of the Headquarters. The city is filled with new and old buildings. I took a taxi to the hq. We arrived in a few minutes.

The HQ was a big building made of dondim, a blue marble looking material. I went inside and went to the receptionist to make my arrival known to the contractor. The inside was decorated with expensive paintings and sculptures. The furniture was also expensive looking but not overtly so. After telling the receptionist to inform the person of my arrival I sat down in a chair in the lounge. After waiting for a couple of minutes I was told to follow the receptionist. I followed them to a room guarded by two people with what appeared to be the latest and most advanced in weapons and armour available. They were still weaker than me.
The receptionist gestured for me to go inside. I entered the room, inside there are two couches facing each other separated by a table. Sitting on one of the couches is a middle aged looking human male. Behind the man is another man in a black suit, now he is dangerous and could easily kill me. Well the current me.
I sat down casually on the opposite couch. There was silence. I had a smirk on my face while both men were stoic. This lasted for a few seconds until the middle aged man smiled. "Hello there mister Alom. I am pleased that you could make it here on such short notice." He had a suave voice and spoke in an even tone.
"Well you did say that you would make it worth my while so I just had to come as quick as I could Mister…" I spoke as if speaking to a friend.
"Ah." He exclaimed. "I apologize for not introducing myself. I am Senator Gerald Anderson of the Milky Way Federation." He spoke projecting the aura of someone with power. His individual power might not be that much but his political power would destroy my current one. As long as we didn't count the Empire.
"A galactic senator huh. Now what would someone like you want with someone like me. You could surely hire someone else of higher estime. Hell you could hire a whole group of people better than me." I wasn't wrong. I've only been working for 6 months. Hell, I'm only 1 year and 3 months old. There are people who have worked longer than I've been alive.
"That is true, I could hire loads of people way more famous or renowned than you. But I won't. You have what they don't and do you know what that is?"
"No I don't."
"I picked you because you aren't that well known and have a perfect completion rate. It's also because you faced and destroyed a large group of pirates all the while not even damaging your ship. It's also because you saved my friend's granddaughter. That child also mentioned that your ship felt and worked like nothing she had ever seen before." I knew putting them on the ship was a bad idea but I didn't have a choice.
"Well ok then. You got me. Now tell me about the job you need done Mr. Senator."
