《The Legacy of a Pirate》Chapter 28 Make A Wish

I stared at Uzo dumbfounded for quite sometime before Fay told me just to disregard him. And I didn't argue at all with that suggestion. Apparently, Uzo deemed Fay the most adorable thing he ever set eyes on and called her goddess ever since their first meeting.
(I guess you really can't judge a character from just the surface..)
"G-goddess wait!" Uzo said as quickly followed us as we moved towards the mess hall.
Fay frowned as she crossed her arms, "Hmmph! Just go ahead and disappear from my sight already!"
"Ah...Yes...Goddess..."Uzo sighed sorrowfully, but not before he glared at me.
(What did I do?!)
We would ultimately make it to the mess hall, and everyone else was already eating their fill.
"I guess Vivian should be better now..." I said as I looked around with a smile on my face. The usual scene brought happiness to my soul
"But...How did we get supplies? I don't remember seeing Vivian bringing anything back?"Ellie asked as she looked up at me.
"Ah...you didn't know what that tiny cube was? The one that captain gave to her before we left? (Author Note: Chapter 20)
"Ah? What is that used for?"Ellie asked just as Vivian spotted us three entering the mess hall.
Vivian overheard the conversation as she walked over, "It's something a controlled space that we can place items into and pull them out later. We call it the Toerana cube."
Vivian's right arm was bandaged up, but other than that she was quite chipper after all the happenings today. She was even well enough to cook for the crew with several of her helpers sufficiently.
Vivian pulled the little silver cube out of her pouch and gently tapped it twice with her finger.
*Zzzii*
The specific section Vivian tapped opened like a sliding door, and instantly a 3-D view of a small galaxy appeared.
"Woah...."Ellie's eyes brighten as she looks at the small spinning galaxy. The small galaxy spun in circles as several different colored stars all merged like a perfect picture. It was quite a sight.
Vivian gradually places her hand through the galaxy, and her hand disappeared for a moment.
"Watch closely," Vivian said as she gradually pulled her arm back, and in her hand was now a red fruit. Once she pulled the fruit out, the cube instantly closed. Vivian brightly smiled as she held the fruit in her hand.
"Chinmoy fruit?!"Ellie asked excitedly.

"Yes! Uzo was able to swipe a few for me..."Vivian was smiling from ear to ear as tears formed in the corner of her eyes.
(Huh so he is actually nice?)
"I'm happy for you Vivian. I'll expect a delicious pie?"I asked with a smile.
Vivian hastily wiped her tears away, "You can count on it!"
"How much does that cube hold anyways?" Ellie asked.
"Well, this particular one can typically hold around...I say 300 pounds, but we have the old edition...Captain says that there are better ones, but they are only manufactured in the planet Levene. It's a super-advanced planet compared to the surrounding ones, and they are constantly pushing out new technology."Vivian said
"Maybe the people there can fix this ship. Preferably the ship's system." I cheekily said.
"Gahahaha! I heard that! Do you want a beating now or later, boy?"Liam said as he appeared in front of me, cracking his knuckles as he smirked.
"Haha..." I shrank back in fear.
Liam suddenly laughed as he placed his arms around me, "Jokes aside. I heard what happened from Vivian. I knew you were a hot-blooded warrior! Gahahaha!"
(I wasn't really trying to...)
I could only smile as Liam continued to laugh. "Oh...Ian. I'm not quite sure what's going on with you.." Liam thought as he glanced at me. He was genuinely happy that I started to act like his captain, but he suppressed his real worries behind his laughter. Vivian told him how Ian was in the bizarre state once again, but it seemed even more intense. Liam made a mental note of it before returning to the main task at hand.
Soon we were all eating happily at a table as we talked about random topics. I could sense someone's eyes on me from time to time, but now it wasn't even a mystery as I knew it was Uzo.
(How long is he going to stare?)
I sighed as I continued to eat before Liam started talking about our next obstacle before making it into Myra's Ocean.
"So, we will soon be in Imperial territory. Our destination is Myra's ocean and of course, it's guarded by the Imperials with their city near it."
Liam held up two fingers in the air, "Two weeks we need to reach Myra's Ocean so that Ian can meet the Overlord of this planet."
Derek pulled out a map, pointing to a specific spot on it."I came up with a plan for us to sneak past the Imperial's using an abandoned cave. There is a flowing river deep enough to let the ship past through but..."

I examined the map and saw how the cave leads straight towards Myra's Ocean.
However...
"Arin's Cave...That's almost over 100 miles long...Why was it abandoned?"I asked.
Derek smiled wryly, "Well...It recently was infested with...Zersiks..."
Suddenly everyone in the mess hall became silent and stared at Derek.
I immediately stand up from my seat, "Are you kidding me?! Fuck...Do you want us to die?!"
"I even know that you don't mess with Zersiks..." Ellie said as her body trembled slightly in fear.
Zersiks were nocturnal creatures, and due to their nature, they were known to torture their prey before devouring their flesh. A wild species of spiders that were about the size of a horse with little rows of formidable teeth that cut like knives. Always run when you see a glimpse of these green-eyed arachnids because there were sure to be several others close behind.
Fay pumped her fist into the air, "It's just a few spiders! You have captain and me to protect you."
"Gahahaha! What's a measly spider going to do when you have overwhelming strength?"Liam said as he pounded his broad chest with his fist. His warrior spirit was burning for another fight.
"In fact, we are already headed there. No turning back now!"
(Is there a way to relinquish my powers? I suddenly don't want this responsibility anymore!!)
We continued talking about it through the night.
Meanwhile in the outskirts of the Imperial city Xalphor------
A group of the Imperial army stood attention out in the vast open plains just outside their industrial city. Each typical soldier held a portable lamp powered by magic to see their surroundings as they were waiting for a particular person to arrive.
Alexis displayed a complicated expression on her face as she looked up at the beautiful night sky. The visible stars were dazzling, and the way they were arranged looks as if they were part of a painting.
The cold breeze kept Alexis alert as they were tasked to greet a superior who should be landing on this planet soon.
"Captain. I see it."One soldier said as he spotted a dazzling blue shooting star with his telescope shooting through the sky. If one didn't know any better, then they would be making a wish. However, the Imperials knew all to well that it wasn't a star, but a space pod. And it seemed to be headed directly for them!
Alexis nodded knowingly as she sighed softly. She then turned to the right side of her where a young brown-haired girl stood. She looked to be 14, but she exerted the aura of a veteran soldier from her petite body.
The girl was wearing a thin black Imperial uniform with a rapier strapped to her hip. If the girl were wearing regular clothes, then one would think that she was a doll as her greenish eyes showed no signs of emotion.
"....Sera you will be the one to attend our superior. Do not disappoint me."Alexis said solemnly.
"Yes...Captain."Sera nodded just as the pod slammed into the surface of the planet just several miles away from them!
*Boooom!*
The pod instantly made a deep hole in the ground as the grass surrounding it was set ablaze.
The silvery pod was big enough for one person, and it was painstakingly built for speed. The person could cut the amount of time to reach a faraway planet in half while being in cold sleep through space.
(A\N: Last time on Dragon Ball Z! The Saiyans...Nevermind)
The hatch gradually opened and out came a giant of a man. The short crimson-haired man stood at 7 ft tall with muscles that had long achieved the state of perfection. Years and years of fierce battle forged those incredible muscles.
The extraordinary man was wearing a bright red Imperial uniform but with slight variations. His arm sleeves were ripped clean off, and the man didn't even bother to button up the shirt, exposing a scary-looking scar that stretched across his mighty chest.
"Alois..." Alexis mumbled underneath her breath as she clenched her fist.
The man named as Alois casually walked through the fire that was caused by the impact, and suddenly the flames disappeared.
"Magic..." One soldier said with envy as his knees started to buckle.
The Imperial soldiers who have been through hundreds of battles couldn't help but shiver in terror as they felt the unbelievable killing intent coming off of the man.
Alois finally reached the group after several moments. He looked straight at Alexis with his cold green eyes. Several moments of silence had ensued before he asked with a composed face, "Where is my brother?"
