Vivian's POV------
I turned around to look at the massive pot-bellied man and became stunned after discovering who he was.
"Commander...Tolbert?"I furrowed my brows as images of the past flash through my mind. But there was never any happy memories during my time in the Imperial Army. I started to frown as I released killing intent toward Tolbert.
Tolbert suddenly points his finger at me, "I can't believe this! You were alive all this time and you never came back! I was kicked out of the army because of you!... Well, I suppose this life suits me better."
Tolbert didn't blink one bit after feeling the killing intent, "So, I should actually thank you instead, but now I really need to capture you all..."
"Capture?..." I asked as my muscles started to tense up, my killing intent increasing every second the disgusting man talked.
"Yes, of course, I'm thinking of turning in you all in. I'm sure the Imperials will give me even more benefits for my effort. You might have to experience cruel experiments..."
"But think of it! I could rule this entire country or maybe this entire world! I may have to rough you up a bit, but how heavenly would that be?! Me! Dominating the entire world!"Tolbert started to laugh maniacally.
"I desire everything to be in my grasp! I simply do not care what I must do! It all has to be mine!" Tolbert thought as he continued to laugh.
"Aaah!!"I instantly leaped toward Tolbert with blinding speed as I pulled my right arm back, and smashed my fist against his face with all the strength I could muster!
*Crash!!!*
Tolbert was instantly sent flying into his mansion behind him, demolishing even more of the structure. The entire foundation was brought to ruins from the impact.
"Hmph..!" I slowly walked in front of the decorative stage after landing on my feet and placed my hands underneath it.
I gritted my teeth as I start lifting the stage into the air, "Take this shitty stage along with you!" My muscles tense even more as instantly send the stage flying into Tolbert's mansion.

The grand stage whistled through the air before it slammed right into the same spot Tolbert crashed in.
*Boom!!!*
The people of Renhart became stunned as they looked fearfully at the destruction. The mansion couldn't even be called one anymore, and it simply looked like rubble from an ancient temple. The power of that young lady is overwhelming!
"V-Vivian?"Ian asked as he stared wide-eyed at the violent scene. "I know I said I was going to kill him, but that is just overkill!" He thought as he scratched his head in disbelief.
I dust my hands off as I started to walk away from the scene, "Let's get out of here."
"Oh, Chinmoy fruit!"I immediately stopped when I noticed the bright red fruit in considerable amounts in carriages. I walked over to one carriage and picked up one Chinmoy fruit.
"This weight..."My body starts to tremble as tears begin to form in my eyes once my hand feels the familiar texture of the fruit.
One would notice that the carriages were reinforced to carry a large amount of these fruits because just one by itself weighed like a healthy newborn baby!
"This really is it...Mom..."I started to feel warm as pleasant memories flash through my mind, tears dripping down my face.
Thirteen years in the past----------
"Ah!..."I found myself in a bed in an unfamiliar room after I woke up. It was quite dull, but at the same time, it felt warm. One would see that it was well looked after as warmth radiated from every corner of the room.
After I had looked around the room, I noticed that I was bandaged entirely from head to toe.
"Huh....?" I started pulling them off to reveal my slightly tanned skin underneath. I studied my body and saw all the wounds I suffered from the battle were gone.
"...The battle!!" I stood up onto my feet and instantly made my way to the door. However as soon as I reached for the handle, it opened.

There standing in the doorway was the most beautiful woman I have ever seen. Her blue eyes shined like crystal gems, and her cyan colored hair looked like smooth honey dripped over her slender shoulders. Her fair skin didn't have a single flaw and despite wearing a simple blue dress, no one could deny she was stunning.
"Oh...You are awake and...naked."The beautiful cyan-haired woman giggled. I rapidly covered my body as I blushed in shame. I didn't quite understand why I was embarrassed by this.
I glared at the woman with my finger pointed at her, "What kind of magic did you use on me!-"
My face was immediately hit by something soft, and I noticed that it was clothes, "Huh?"
"What are these for?" I asked as I stared at the woman.
The woman placed her hand on top of my head, and rubbed it gently, "Put these on and come to eat ok?"The woman said with a smile.
I unconsciously nodded as I looked up at her and witnessed the most enchanting smile I have ever seen in my life.
"Good...now go on."The woman continued to smile before she left my sight. I had many chances to eliminate her, but my body simply didn't listen. I felt something from the woman as her hand was on my head.
"She....cares for me?" I asked myself as my body started to shiver from the realization.
Meanwhile in the present/Ian's POV-------
I was dumbfounded at the woman who had genuine tears dripping from her face.
(Vivian is...Crying!?)
"Maybe we should take some after saving the town! I'm sure the merchants wouldn't mind at all." I smilingly said as I placed my hand on Vivian's shoulder.
"You think so?" Vivian smiled as she started wiping her tears away.
"YOU IDIOTS! WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?!!"
I immediately noticed it was the old bartender shouting as he dashed toward me.
"Old man.....Baron? I think that's what Tolbert said. I'm sorry we forgot to-"My sentence was cut short by a smack to the right side of my face.
"Ian!" Ellie shouted as she was stunned by the scene. Why is the old man hitting him?!
Fay instantly flew in front of me, "What's the big idea old man! Don't make me crush you!"
I held my reddened cheek, "What was that for?!"I roared as my eyes turned multi-colored.
Baron pointed at Vivian, "Y-you! I thought you were just going to take the two far away from here! But you do this instead! Do you have any idea.....DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA WHAT YOU HAVE DONE?!"
"Yeah! WE SAVED THIS TOWN!" I clenched my fists as I glared ferociously at Baron.
(This ungrateful old bastard!!)
"No...you don't understand...Tolbert....he...he has changed."Baron gripped the collar of my jacket with trembling hands as tears started streaming down his face. He was scared for the young people in front of him and for this city. "That man is literally a demon!" He shouted
"Huh.." I immediately calm down as I study the change in the man's face.
"What do you mean he has changed? Other than being fat..."Vivian nudged me away from Baron as she stood in front of me.
"After...He tasted the Chinmoy fruit for the first time...I remember it clearly...Look I don't have time to tell you, but you need to get far away from here!"Baron shifted around Vivian and grabbed my hand, pulling me towards the exit.
"YOU BITCH!!"
I could feel my entire body tremble in fear after I heard the creepy distorted voice. I slowly look behind me to see the most haunting thing I have ever seen in my life.

As this is my first work of any sort of writing, I would love it if you can give me any feedback you can think of. Hit me hard and hit me often, so I can make it better for everyone. Thank you! Authors Note #2. Some of the wonderful people reading this horrible attempt at literature have reviewed the Main Character as an unlikable a**hole that thinks everything is stupid or idiotic, while others have reviewed the Main Character as realistic and sarcastic. As the author, I think that both of these points are true, and if you, the reader, feel like you won't enjoy the MC being these things in your story, then it might be that this fiction is not for you. But if it is, then I welcome you with open arms. Thank you for your time.
