《The Legacy of a Pirate》Chapter 19 The Grand Escape?

*BOOOM SPLASH!!*
The Gaultier crashed into the ocean after losing the power of the booster. The entire crew was quite exhausted from all of that excitement, and having to strap themselves down with just rope is heart-wrenching. Although they would never know until later that they never had to do that in the first place, but that is a story for another time.
"Gahahaha! What a rush! Hmm....it reminds me of the good ol' days."Liam said.
"Your good ol' days are starting to scare me just a bit, captain," Derek said as he sighed, unwrapping the rope that was holding him to the ship. Ellie immediately nodded in agreement with Derek.
"Oh, come on! Once the boy learns how to harness the power inside of him, we will be able to experience even more blood-boiling moments like earlier! Look forward to it! Gahahahaha!"Liam was absolutely fascinated with battle, and that is something you would find at his very core if you took him apart.
"Can someone help me to where Ian is, I want to see if he is ok," Ellie said as she glanced at the bridge behind her.
"Well, of course! We have to see the man of the hour!"Liam grabbed the handles of Ellie's wheelchair and pushed her towards the bridge while Derek decided to follow them.
"Ugh...I feel like I was run over...twice."I immediately fell to the floor after I realized we landed safely onto the ocean, closing my eyes to rest a bit.
The automatic door of the bridge instantly opened.
"Ian!" Ellie was the first one to speak as she saw Ian on the floor. She would take over her wheelchair and wheeled herself over to me.
"Don't shout...I'm fine. I just feel a little drained that's all."I opened my eyes to see Ellie leaning over in her wheelchair to get a better look at me.
"Are you sure?" Ellie said as she apparently didn't believe me one bit.
"I'm sure!" I smiled as I slowly sat up.
"The man of the hour! The fierce pirate of the boundless seas! Ian Zeilaster!"Liam laughed as he grabbed me by the shoulders, hoisting me up onto my feet.

"Captain...I got a question."I asked as I looked thoughtfully at Liam.
"Hmm? What is it?" Liam asked as he raised an eyebrow. "Could it be something important?" He thought.
"This ship... Isn't it better to just replace it?"I asked as Derek and Ellie furiously nodded.
"WHAT?! NO WAY! This ship has been around for over 40 years, and it is still strong! How could you ever think about replacing it?!" Liam shouted.
"Well, because...It just did what it wanted to! This ship can get us killed!"I flailed my arms into the air.
".....Boy, it seems like I haven't hit you hard enough earlier!"Liam said as he grinned, pulling his arm back.
Derek hastily placed his hand on Liam's shoulder, "Woah! Captain, he was just joking! Anyways shouldn't we be talking about our next plan of action? I know we are low on supplies, but we need to be able to find a place we can safely resupply. The Gayle Ocean is mostly the Imperial's territory."Derek awkwardly laughed before he glared at me.
(Am I right, though?!)
"You are right..."Liam sighed as he lets go of me, and honestly, I was quite scared of being punched again.
(Thank you, Derek!)
"Let's go get ourselves something to eat first, and we will talk about it." Liam walked out of the bridge with his mighty shoulders slumped over. "How could no one understand the ways of my dear captain?" He thought.
"Hehehe..." Ellie giggled as she had never seen Liam so sad before and neither have I
I couldn't help but burst out laughing after thinking about it more.
"He...He looked like a dog...Who was just told it couldn't go outside! Hahaha!" I said as Ellie laughed along with me.
"Come on you two. Let's go join the captain before he really gets sad."Derek said as it seemed he was the sensible one, but inwardly he was laughing up a storm.
The group naturally made it to the mess hall where the food was brought over to them after being prepared by the cook. The mess hall rapidly became a battle of wits as the food was stolen from each other and soon it became an all-out brawl!

"Hahaha!! That's how we should be hot-blooded!"Liam grinned as he pounded his broad chest with his fist. Liam wanted to fight too, but strangely the crew members would completely avoid him once he tried. (Author Note: Haha strangely~)
Ellie was frightened at the scene of various kinds of food being thrown around as men and women of the crew were fighting, "C-captain! Aren't you going to stop this? Ian?!"She saw me about to get into it with Gideon.
"HEY, YOU! THAT WAS MY STEAK!"I pointed at Gideon who snatched my piece of steak when I wasn't looking, but I typically happened to see him just after he devoured it!
"Hah! Serves you right if you let little ol' me take it!"Gideon laughed as he gave me the finger.
"AHH! COME HERE, YOU OLD BASTARD!" I tackled him to the floor as we tumbled around, punching each other.
"Is that all you got? I don't feel anything from your weak punching!"Gideon was a strong guy, despite his age, and he had no shame fighting with a 16-year old kid!
"Ian stop!!" Ellie was about to use her power over the wind to break the fight up.
Derek placed his hand onto Ellie's shoulder, "Hahaha! Stop right there, kid! And besides, just look at them for a moment."
Ellie paused for a moment to look at their faces, and she could see both of them maintained smiles on their faces as they fought. In fact, she could see everyone having smiles on their faces.
"Why are they smiling? Doesn't it hurt?"Ellie asked as she looked up at Derek.
"The Axe Lions is definitely one group of weirdos. It was because of our captain. He essentially gave meaning to all of our lives despite being useless. We became...a family of..."Derek stopped as he noticed he had food missing from his plate and looked to see a crew member stuffing his face with his food!
"HEY! YOU DARE STEAL FROM ME?!"
"You looked away from your food! You should know better!"
"YOU!!"
Derek tackled the crew member and down they went just like everyone else in the mess hall.
"A family huh?" Ellie became sentimental for a moment as she thought about her parents. She would grip the sides of her wheelchair as she gritted her teeth.
"Hey let's get out of here!" I brushed my self off after dealing with Gideon and saw that Ellie wasn't eating at all.
(She must be finished. If I stay any longer, I'm going to burst from anger! Curse that old man!)
Ellie would show the most brilliant smile as she looked up at me.
"En...Let's go!"She nodded her head as I took the handles of her wheelchair into my hand, quickly wheeling her out of the mess hall.
(She doesn't know I'm also doing this for her own safety! Our cook is-)
"WHO IS WASTING ALL MY FOOD?!" The voice of a purple-haired woman penetrated everyone's ears as they immediately stopped fighting. The attractive woman was releasing killing intent as she held a spatula in her right hand. Vivian was the name of the woman. She was an accomplished fighter before joining the Axe Lions, and she even came close to Liam regarding raw strength.
Vivian decided to become the cook because she enjoyed doing it, but seeing her food being thrown around like it was nothing. She couldn't tolerate such a thing!
"Shit! RUN!"The entire crew scrambled for the exit.
"IF YOU ALL TAKE ONE MORE STEP WITHOUT EATING ALL THIS FOOD. ILL STRANGLE YA!"Vivian flexed her arm muscles. She was not one to be messed with despite being a beauty with fair skin.
"Eep.."Liam would even shrink back in front of this woman, and he was, in fact, the primary cause of this fight!
"Captain...You have to lead by example~" Vivian smiled as she glared fiercely at Liam with her blue eyes.
"Gahaha..."
Luckily Ellie and I were far away to know what happened next.

Eleknar's Heir, The Infernal Prince (Demonic LitRPG)
A LitRPG and Epic Fantasy adventure: The son of a mafia boss finds himself abruptly plunged into an alternate world where he must find a way to survive the horrors of a realm called Oblivion, make pacts with demons, form unnatural friendships, and figure out what the hell is going on – all while dealing with the depressing reality of his past. An artificial intelligence has ascended into godhood and has thrown Trey’s home into Chaos, pulling millions of people into an enchanted new life... or, in Trey's case, a violent nightmare. As far as he can tell, he is locked into what the system prompts call a ‘Death Game.’ Here, artificial reality is manufactured for the enjoyment of a being called the All Spirit, and he has a very real chance of truly dying. Just how real is this place though? Is it merely a simulation, a realistic game of life and death… or is it something much more? Elves, dwarves, undead, and other races only thought to exist in fairy tales are now a reality. Black magics, pantheons of gods at odds with one another, predatory symbiotes, and an unholy calling, the significance of which he has yet to grasp, are all entangled with his fate. ============================================ ============================================ Some things to expect when reading this book series: - Brutal storyline where no character is safe and choices have real consequences. Heavy on action, survival, and adventure - An isekai. The main character struggles to find himself, repeatedly crossing the line between good and evil as other important characters influence his life - Harem (explicit), though this only starts about 180k words in. - Good amounts of crafting, town building, and guild building later on - Good amounts of fantasy-related LitRPG stats, rank ups, and evolutions. Heavy focus on demons and black magics - There will be many points of view, but there is only one primary/main character that takes up 90% of the POV - A long storyline. Currently (as of 7/26/2021) I have about 1500k words written, though much of it will have to be heavily edited and re-written. I also plan to go far beyond 1500k words if people like the story (A lot of it is also in the 'backstories' book that explores the guildmates, the link is below) - Chapters will have an average of about 4k-5k words, a little longer than most other books on RR, though there will be exceptions for more and less. I just didn't like posting chapters that didn't feel complete, and 2k words often felt like too little. - If you like super-heroic and goody-goody characters, this story is not for you. ***Updated once a week***

Condemned
“The human body is a fragile thing. But the soul... The soul is malleable. Easily tainted. All it takes is one drop of blood to dye it all red.” Long ago, in a time remembered only by a few, the seven lords of Syvernia, led by the Great Hero Ludwig, ended the Great Calamity that plagued humanity for as long as time itself. It was the dawn of a new age of man. . . until the thirst for more poisoned the new lords. Slowly, the thread that held humanity together loosened and a thick haze consumed the lands between. Mysterious vanishings, supernatural forces, and silence warns of a looming threat inside the coat of fog. Though the struggle of the realms did not interest Leor, for he was condemned as a Purblight, until he took a seemingly simple job: escort Alden to Lightendale and collect the handsome reward, a reward that would let him live the rest of his life with ease. But it’s never that simple, especially for someone who denounced the Gods. All his life, death followed Leor everywhere he went, cutting down his friends and family. When his first love died at the hands of an agent of light, he was prepared to throw everything away until a mysterious voice promised him a chance for retribution and a chance to bring her back by completing the seven trials. Thrown into the realm's struggle against the approaching haze and themselves, will Leor, a Purblight and an acquaintance of tragedy, use the very power he disdains to accomplish his goals? This is the rewrite of my novel: Condemned; I changed it to past tense and added/ took out some ideas from the original. This is essentially the first draft since I'm writing as I go. Also, there might be or might not be Gore, Sexual, or Traumatizing content. I only put it there for a disclaimer in case I want to add it. I have no set release schedule yet, but I'll try to post once every 2 week. Thanks for your patience.
