Continued from last chapter...

Author's p.o.v....

"Mahi...." He called her but there was just silence on the other side. He ran out of his office hastily. Everyone was watching him with wide eyes.

Starting the car he just felt fear. Never in his life he was this afraid except from the time his scarlet was not opening her eyes.

She is inside the elevator. A closed place. Her PTSD had already starts showing its effect but she is just unaware about this.

He got a call from karan informing him that hid mother and mahi are going to mall. He already denied her but she went there. She loves to defy him.

pulling the breaks he walked inside with his guards following him behind.

"Where is she?" I barked at my guard standing their.

"Th..third floor.." with no time for anything I ran with only thought that my scarlet should be fine.

I saw the large crowd gathered together. I walk towards them only to see my mother crying. Karan walked towards me.

"She is still inside?" I asked him trying to keep the tiny bit of sanity I possesed. He nodded

I ran near the door of the elevator.

"Scarlet Don't be afraid I am here okk. Nothing will happen to you. Scarlet answer me?" He called out for her only to get utter silence. His heart clenched at mere thought of her being hurt

"If I found a single scratch on her I am going to sew all your property and strangle you till death." He warned the manager standing their. He took a step back shuddering.

Everyone was working or doing something but he was just blank. He was supposed to protect her not to hurt her but yet again....

"Sir the door will be open in five minutes." Karan informed him. He was just impatiently looking at the door from where her scarlet will come and hug her tightly.

A loud sound was heard before the door opened and what he saw made his soul tightened. She was curled up in the corner with her eyes closed.

"Scarlet.." he picked her up and started checking for any injury but their was nothing except from the scratch on her forehead. He hugged her tightly getting his soul back.

"Sir we should take mam to the hospital." Karan shakes his boss shoulder who was just lost.

"H.. hospital..yes scarlet i will take you to the hospital and than you will be fine." He picked her in bridal style and walked out.

Sitting on the back seat of the car he saw the tear stains on her cheeks. Only if I will be there he thought burying her face in his chest.

"Cara open you eyes." He pleaded but she was just lying limp in his arms.

"Drive fast.." he shouted on the driver. As soon as the driver pulled the breaks he ran out with her in his arms.

"Treat her" he barked at the doctor who flinched seeing his face.

"Doctor she was entrap in the lift. when we found she has unconscious and breathing heavily" karan informed the doctor.

"We have to immediately take her in emergency." The doctor spoke and asked aditya to put her on the structure. But he was not ready to leave her.

"Sir please let them take mam to treat. Her breathing is becoming laboured." Karan tried to make him understand.

"Scarlet you will be fine..okk?" He slowly kept her on the structure and saw as they took her away. He slumped down on the wall outside her room.

He was always so protected towards her yet he failed her....

She don't understand how badly it hurts to see her like this...

"Sir mam will be fine" karan told him who didn't paid any head to his words.

His parents also came their with his father trying to hold her crying wife who was blaming herself for mahi's condition.

After about half an hour the doctor came out. He immediately stood up and ran towards her.

"How is she?" He asked her.

"She is out of danger but wait for sometime. We have to run some test on her." The doctor answered and walk past him.

"Call dr. Gupta and asked her to be here in next fifteen minutes." He ordered karan who nodded and went out.

"A..aditya I am sorry. I don't know how.....he stopped his mother by pulling her to him.

"Don't cry maa. It was not your fault." He wiped her tears and kissed her forehead.

He was just walking back and forth outside her room in just a hope to see her.

"You can see her but don't disturb her" ...the nurse told him. He walked inside and saw how quietly she was lying on the bed with a cross bandage near her forehead.

Bending down beside her he carassed her cheek softly. He kept his head on her chest and in an instant relief flooded inside him. The soft beating of her made the beast inside him calm.

"Make sure to give her...the doctor stopped seeing him. He stood up not before kissing her forehead softly. He saw his parents walking inside along with her mother and father.

"How is she?" He asked the doctor

"Congratulations Mr. Arora your wife is pregnant. Well they both are fine except from the few scratches on her body"...his senses went blank, the only thing he can hear was the word pregnant.

He stumbled backwards. No it is not right. Never in his life he got such a huge shock...

"Pregnant?" Her mother gasped.

"You have mistaken something. Dammit, run the test again.."he yelled at the doctor.

"We have right report Mr. Arora your wife is one week pregnant. Here are the reports." The doctor said forwarding the file to him. He checked everything carefully. The file dropped from his hands

Pregnant? Baby, their baby. A tiny human with two legs and two hands.

No he can't risk her life.

"Is it true?" His mother asked coming towards him in utter shock. He nodded her head. She stood their frozen..

They don't know whether to be happy or sad because the

"How could you do this to my daughter?" Her father yelled coming towards him.

He closed his eyes frustratedly. It was like he was given a choice between mahi and the baby. He know whom he have to choose yet his heart was feeling a different kind of pain. Pain of losing something very precious.

"Abort the baby..."he ordered the doctor with the same hard emotionless eyes. Never in her life she will let him do this. It's better as fast as it could be before she wakes up...

The sound of monitor was the first thing I heard after getting my sense back.

With very difficulty I opened my eyes only to greet the not so unfamiliar white ceiling. My head hurts....

The last thing I remember was me sticking in the lift. I started running out of breath and dizziness taking over me.

Everything starts running back just like a flashback from his betrayel with sneha to my accident. My memories..

A tear ran out of my eyes remembering those beautiful days we spent together but everything was just a lie, utter lie.

"my eyes became wide hearing the same familiar voice. But baby......

I looked at my side only to see his muscular back facing me.

"Abort the baby before she wakes up." He spoke monotancly. Baby...my baby.

I am going to be a mother. I am going to a have little baby. A baby to love, my baby. He or she will love me not like others my baby will never leave me.

My hand went above my stomach. My baby is living here. I will protect you with everything I have. Even it is my life....

"No"....I whispered shaking my head. It's like a jolt he ran towards me.

"Mahi, are you okay? Did your head hurts? It is pain somewhere? Don't be afraid okk I am here scarlet." He crushed me under him. After minutes and minutes he pulled away not feeling my arms around him.

"Out"...he ordered everyone standing in the room, their presence was unknown to me.

"I..I will not let anyone take away my baby"...I cried not wanting my baby to die. In an instant his eyes went back to its usual hard and blank look.

"We are not going to have this baby..." He spoke icely burning me with his words.

"Never, you have given me enough patches of pain Mr. Arora now I will not take anymore. Atleast not with my baby." I answered harshly. In an instant something flashed in his eyes.

"You got you memories." He whispered

"Yes and now no more I am subjected to anyone standing here. You are not my husband as you yourself made me sign the divorce papers." I reminded him the point where we left.

"Tch...tch...my innocent kitten. What in the fucking hell you thought that I will let you go? You are mine." He leaned down in a way our noses are touching each other

" From the very start to the very end." He finished his sentence giving me the reminder of pain I suffered all this years.

V..vardhan...he will hurt my baby. No I will not let anyone touch my baby. My thoughts got broken as the door opened and ridhan entered looking panicked.

"Mahi what happened? Are you okay?" He asked coming towards me. He was about to touch me but I pulled back.

"Ask the pilot to prepare the jet Mr. Oberoi . I am leaving for los angles by tonight." I ordered him making him look at me with utter shock.

Mumma will always love you. I will give you all the love for which I craved my whole life.

Every thinks you came to darken my life but only I know my baby will bring my every happiness back with him or her....
