"Mumma feed aditya too. Afterall he is your own son." All the hands stopped moving hearing a voice.

All heads present in the room snapped in her direction.

She was looking at all of them with a pleasent smile.

"What? I know you all are his family. You both are his parents and dev bhaiya is his brother." They all locked towards her shockingly.

"I have lost my memories not my vision. I can see the similarities between him and dad. I can also see that how mumma crys silent for him. I don't know what wrong he did that you all are angry from him but please don't make him suffer like this.

Especially if I am the reason of your anger on him." She explained with tears in her eyes. May she doesn't remember anything but she can't see anyone in pain. They all were just looking at her except from one who is unable to look into her eyes.

"Please don't punish him. He is not bad he will not do any wrong things from now." She assured them like a small child.

"Aditya say sorry to your mumma-papa. And promise them you will be a good boy." She said mischievously. She know this will irritate him very much but who cares she love to do everything he say no for.

He just walk towards his mother and fall in her arms. Unable to control anymore she just wrapped her hands around him pulling him closer

"I..I am sorry mumma" he said burying his face in her neck. Just the fragrance of his mother changed his whole demour from tensed to relaxed. Everyone left giving them privacy. Mahi too left the place despite she knows they will talk about her past and she wanted to know everything.

"I am angry from you adi, very angry. My son can't be so cruel. I didn't raised a devil. I can forgive you for what you did with her before marriage but after marriage no I can't. She was your wife aditya, your responsibility. You were supposed to love her, respect her but you... Everyday I used to ask her about your life, she says you are keeping her very happy. Even today she supported you"He detached himself from her because his mind was just stuck on the word

"She is my wife and always be mine." He spoke with determination and left from there. No one can take her away from him not even Mahi herself.

He entered in his room and saw her sitting on the bed. All his stress flew out of the window when he saw her sitting on hi..no their bed frowning to herself.

"What happened to my little kitty?" He asked pulling her hair in a braid.

"Why I lost my memories aditya? I don't like it. I want to remember everything, I even don't know what is my favourite food, colour or ice cream. I don't know who I was, I don't even remember my favourite movie." She said pouting sadly. He sighted closing his eyes.

Why their life has to be so difficult?

"You are sad because you don't remember anything right?" I asked sitting in front of him. She nodded quickly.

"Yes I know nothing about my likes and dislikes, preference, choice etc..etc"..she huffed and throw the pillow on floor. And it was not soon enough she started crying.

"Mahi" I pulled her in my arms and wiped her tears.

"I promise you that from now I will protect you with my life and you will not shed a single tear." She rubbed her nose on my chest and looked up.

"Please don't distanced yourself from me. I need you." She requested with wobbly lips. I just pulled her closer to me.

Why this methodical life feels so beautiful with her in my arms.

"Okk now listen." I tried to disatach her from me. But she just snuggled more in my chest.

"You wanna know everything about you past right?" In a moment she pulled back and looked in my eyes with hope.

"Yes, you will tell me na?" She jumped on excitedly.

"No, but I will create your present." As soon as the words escaped from my lips. A big frown mared her forehead.

"How?" She asked confusingly.

"You will come to know tomorrow, for now sleep." I pushed her down and was about to stand. But a hand clutched my wrist.

"No distance." She declared. I smiled and laid beside her. It was a distance of moment when she jumped upon my chest and laid upon me.

"Now this will be a good night." She mumbled and closed her eyes..

Everything is perfect with her in my arms. But I am afraid, for the first time in life, afraid of losing her. Nothing can change the truth that she is my start as well as my end.

"Sleep husband." She said keeping her small hand upon my eyes. I just tightened my hold around her waist. She is mine...

Two months later.....

Beautiful...I don't know when this word became definition of my life. It being two months of his promise. A promise about which I thought as a joke. But no it wasn't.

True to his words he created a new Mahi. A mahi who started loving herself with nothing. He made me realise what is love, self love.

I realise that his words are my reality.

"Life has given you a chance Mahi don't waste it crying for nothing. You got a chance to recreate yourself. Let's discover a mahi, my mahi..."

From the moment I started finding myself. He bought palets of colors so I can find my favourite color. A giggle escaped from my mouth remembering how he bought tubs of ice cream so that I can find my favourite flavor. And me being clumsy spoiled whole bed with ice cream. But he didn't scolded me.

From filling my closest with all favourite dresses to help me in my exercise. From making me ready in morning to preparing me for bed. He became a part of mine. I never felt disabled to do anything because I always feels him before me in my every work.

How he makes my hair saying he likes to do it so that I don't sprain my broken hand. How he always made me wear my footwear so that I didn't have to bend. He do my every task without feeling tired and irritated. Why?

What is all this? His guilt, remorse or love?

At last my family. Yes my family, thought they are my in laws the love they give me has no name.

Things are not good between them and aditya but it will be very soon. But where is my family? My parents? Why they didn't come to meet me.

I will always be grateful to God for giving me him. A glance from him I feels many bubbles erupting in my tummy.

Today all my bandages will be removed. I am very happy. Now I can walk, run and jump freely.

And he being him is very much worried about something. I asked him but he denied saying nothing.

"Scarlet" my chain of thoughts got interrupted by his voice. I turned back and gave him a wide smile. He walked towards me all the time not removing his eyes from me.

"Oouchh"..he lifted me up from the ground and walked towards the bed. I glared at him which he ignored boldly.

"Doctor is here." He said pulling me closer to him. I nodded at him. Meanwhile both the doctors entered inside. They both were females. I can do nothing of his possessiveness.

"You go out" I pushed him away when I saw both of them looking at us with a smile.

"No"...here we go again.

"Pleaseeee"..I pouted knowing very well that this is going to work. He sighted and went outside not before giving me a look.

After a long hour finally they are done with me. I thanked them and they left. I stand upon my leg for the first time in months. I feels so nice to be able to walk upon your own legs.

"Happy?" I turned back and saw him standing there looking at me with amused expression.

"Very very happy"...I jumped upon him.

"Easy my little picollo"..he wrapped his hand around my lower waist..

"I can walk adi you saw." saying this she twirled around making him smile widely.

"I can see" he pulled her closer to him. These days the only thing he wants or like is her.

"Let's go down" without waiting for his answer she pulled him along with her. The sound of her running happily in his house made something in his heart shuffled.

"Mumma..mumma"..she ran directly towards his mother.

"See I can walk" she said happily. His mother just pulled her in a tight bear hug.

"Yes, but don't stress it much." She nodded smiling beautifully.

"Adi let's go out." She said giving him her most adorable face.

"No not now. May the cast is removed but you still need some rest."He denied quickly knowing this is about to come but regretted when he saw tears in her eyes.

"Mahi please understand..okk we can go for a coffee" her tears evaporated in an instant followed by a excited light in her eyes.

He pulled her outside and walked towards the vast garden of the estate which has beautiful flowers, artificial waterfall and many beautiful birds.

"I don't want to go outside"..He looked in her direction to see her looking at the beautiful view ahead but the most fascinating thing is the light in her eyes.

They are just walking hand and hand with her talking nonstop on everything and anything. And him listening her patiently.

Sometimes loves just need a hand in hand to hold forever and heart in heart to mould together.

He sat in a corner with her laid upon his chest. No words can speak the emotions there heart wants to say. There was a stillness in the air but this time it was serene.

Who thought that a day will come when the topmost billionaire while lay on the ground for a girl. She made him do everything he hates making him imperfectly perfect.

"What if I had died that day?" His body went rigid hearing her words. He didn't uttered a single word for minutes.

"I had died long ago with you only because a body can't survive without its heart in it." Her eyes welled up hearing his words.

"Let's go inside it is getting cold." He said kissing her nose making her giggle.

They were about to enter the house when a noise interrupted them.

"Mahi"..she turned back and looked at the man standing there smiling at her..

"Go inside" she heard his hard voice. She wanted to know the reason for his sudden change in mood but walked inside quietly.

"Aditya Arora" the man in his late twenties greeted him with blank face.

"What are you doing at my house Mr. Walter?" He asked directly ignoring his greetings.

"I just come here for getting something which belongs to me." He said smirking at him.

"You come here to took her from me. But you forgot that there is only one maahi which is Aditya's mahi." He said in the same dominating manner which made people shudder.

"Okk then let's see." Jason said and walked past him.

"And dare to say my wife a thing. You will not be able to fix your broken bones in a your complete life span" saying this he walked inside..
