"Beep...beep...beep.."

"ahhh"....A sudden pain erupted in my head making me clutch my eyes more tightly. It felt like someone is constantly hitting my head. I was putting all my strength but this darkness is not leaving me..

After putting all my energy I succeeded to come out from that darkness but as soon as my vision graced the bright light, it closed automatically. After some moments I again tried and this time I got succeeded. It took me minutes to clear my blurry vision and I finally saw a white celling on the top.

But...who I am? I don't remember anything, I closed my eyes and the only thing I saw is a woman with long hairs wrapped in the arms of a men, who was looking very angry. But the girl was just smiling looking at him. Before i could think more a sharp pain erupted in my head making me wince.

"Mam..mam..." someone shaked her. She opened her eyes which hold many unshed tears and looked at the nurse standing in front of her.

"Don't put much pressure it might hurt you hard." She told her softly she nodded her head innocently. She tried to sit but her back didn't support her and something on her stomach is preventing her from waking up.

"He is your husband." As soon as he heard the words of nurse her face went pale and she realised she didn't remember anything. Who she was? Why she is in the hospital bed? What made her loose her memory? Was she married?

"I can say he loves you beyond everything, never in this days I saw him leaving you alone. He talk with you each day and night in a hope that someday you will wake up and answer him. It was like you hold the wires which made his heart beat. He was the one who made you alive, what he calls you..yes scarlet his scarlet..as soon as the nurse said the word something in her mind rolled like the word. She is attached to it.

"Scarlet"...she tried it on her tongue. Is her name is scarlet..

Whoever gives her that name but it is very beautiful..scarlet.

"Who is he?" The nurse stopped hearing her question. She blinked her eyes innocently not knowing what the lady standing in front of her was blabbering.

"He..he is your husband. Oh my god no ..it can't be.."The nurse stumbled being panicked. In all these days she became very familiar with the amount of love he hold in his blue eyes for her.

This will break him...or maybe break them.

"He is my husband." She spoke and a tear fall from her eyes followed by many more. She didn't remember anything. She don't know anyone or anything related to him. Is the man sleeping on her is really her husband. She looked down and saw him sleeping with his head on her stomach and arms tightly secured around her both the sides, caging her in his arms.

"I will call the doctor." The nurse run out from the room in haste to confirm is what she was thinking is right?

Slowly slowly she glanced at him but nothing was visible rather than the messy jet black hairs. Like they are not combed for days.

She kept her hand upon his head and a wave of peace ran through her body making her close her eyes. She couldn't stop herself from roaming her hand on his hairs. A giggled escaped from her mouth when it started tickling on her palm. she felt his hold becoming tight. For a minute she thought he woke up but he didn't.

She again run her hand and found that his hairs are very soft. She stopped her hand when she felt him groaning. As it was not too much late when he raise his head and looked at her with eyes half closed and again buried his head in her stomach but the coming second she found him waking with a jerk and looking at her with eyes wide apart.

He is so handsome, so so so handsome just like a handsome devil. The most attracting part of him is his eyes that were looking at her like he want to have all of her.

"Scarlet"..her trance got broken by his soft whisper. She looked at him with a tint of pink on her cheeks.

"Are you really their?" He asked touching her eyebrows making her closer her eyes. She nodded her head.

"By really means really?" He again asked the silly questions which made her open her eyes and looked at him with a frown. She again nodded frantically but the next time she found herself being crushed to a hard chest. He wrapped his arms around her tightly not gonna to leave her.

"Don't leave me ever again. If you do na than this beast will eat you my little kitty." He was just saying words not noticing that he didn't have her arms around him which always used to cling to him.

She was not getting anything but she got one thing that the man sitting in front of her loves his wife to no end but here she don't remember anything. Slowly she kept her hands on his chest and pushed him away lightly. He relecuntly moved back thinking he might was hurting her.

"Who are you?" She asked with confusion clearly written in her eyes which are full of tears.

"Who are you?" He felt his whole world stopping at just the three mere words. She was looking at him with tears in her eyes. He stumbled back it's like his body didn't supported him.

"Y...you..d.. don't remember anything?" He asked her once again in a hope that maybe, maybe he had heard something wrong.

"No"..she shooked her head and tears started flowing through her eyes making his heart clenched.

"I..I don't remember anything. Who I am? What is my name? Why I am here? Who..who you are to me." She started hiccupping holding her head. He instantly stepped towards her and pulled her to his chest.

"Shh.. don't cry. It will pain more if you will cry. I am here na, I will make everything fine scarlet stop crying." He closed his eyes and a traitor tear escaped from his eyes. But it was soon he felt one small arm wrapped around his waist..The cracking of the door got unnoticed by them as it was like the time stopped with her in his arms.

Everything was same just the places got exchanged.

It was like a recap of the past where once again she was allowing him to enter within her to kill her every insecurity. She felt like it is the safest place in this world. The world about which she knew nothing. He will be with her. He will not leave her. He was just cherishing every second with her because he knew maybe after coming to know what he did with her she will never forgive him.

"Mr. Arora we need to check the patient." He opens his eyes and saw the doctor standing there with other staff. He nodded and looked down at her whose nose has become red from crying. He wiped her tears with his hands.

She looked up at him and shooked her head saying him not to leave her alone. She tighten her hold on his waist and buried her face in his stomach.

"Mahi baby listen I am here only. They will just check you okk? I am standing outside of you don't feel good just ask them to call me?" He freed himself from her hold and moved out without looking ather back because he know once he look back he will never be able to free her from his darkness.

He shut the door of restroom and closed his eyes. He opened his eyes and looked himself in mirror his eyes are red with tears of pain and guilt but he refused to cry. He just want her nothing else but why can't he have her. He was the happiest man in the world when he saw her awake but now she don't know who they are? who he is? Most of all she didn't remember who she is?

He moved out and walked towards the ICU. He can hear her wincing in pain but he can't do anything. He know that her wounds are deep and they need utmost care. Most of all her back didn't support her body. Not able to stop himself anymore he moved inside and saw her crying while the nurse was trying to bandage her head.

"Move." He ordered the sister. She moved aside and gave him the space.

"No more crying." He spoke sternly wiping her tears. She looked at him with brown eyes full of fear.

"Continue." He asked the nurse to continue her work. She started doing her work.

"It.. it's paining." She started hitting him with her tiny fist. Meanwhile he ordered the doctor to give her the nessecary steroids.

"Y..you..are bad. It pains stop this please. I..it hurts back there." She was so busy in crying clutching his shirt that she didn't notice being injected.

"Sleep baby, you need a lot of rest." He patted her back and soon she drifted in a deep slumber on his chest.

The doctor continued his work and left not before asking him meet him personally.

She was lying upon him. His head lying on his chest with hands clutching his shirt tightly. He just have a light hold on her not wanting to hurt her.

He was just looking at the white ceiling of the room thinking where this new turn take them. Will she ever be think like his old mahi? Will she listen to his side of story or just push him away like everyone else did. He looked down to see her sleeping soundly with a tender kiss on her forehead and securing her properly on the bed he moved out.

"Come in"..the doctor gave him the permission. He entered inside and saw him studying some report very kneely.

"Please sit sir." He sat in front of him. The doctor looked up and sighted.

"Truth to be said I have been expecting something like this. But good thing is it doesn't come as any disability like her losing eyesight or any other defeciency." He was just looking at him with a blank face.

"Don't ever try to force her to remeber anything it may can become the cause of her for slipping in coma. Be very patient with her in each and every small thing. Life has given her a another chance, a new beginning. Let her grab it." The elderly doctor patted his back and moved out. He was just feeling nothing. A part of him was asking him to leave her for forever for her betterment and another part of him was not going to leave her alone in such condition where she is completely alone.

He sat beside her and continued looking at her lovingly.

"My cry baby" He whispered and kissed her nose making a frown appeared on her forehead. It was not to late when the door opened and his whole family walked inside along with her parents and sister.

"Mahi" it was his mother who walked towards her and caressed her head loving.

"Why she is not opening her eyes ad.. Tej?" She asked being panicked. They come as soon as possible after hearing that she woke up.

"She is under medication will wake up soon." He answered but his mother ignored him.

"Dev come with me. I want to meet gupta personally." His father ordered his elder son who noises and walked out with him.

After long four hours she again opened her eyes and looked at him. Who was sitting beside her bed smiling slightly. She smiled back but her smile soon turned in a frown when she remembered how he made her cry earlier.

But when she realised other presences in the room she roamed her eyes all around and saw many people standing there looking at her some with love and other with concern. It was the same love and concern she craved her whole life but nobody bothered to care about what she feels but know all their and love and concern are going empty hand.

She become scared seeing so many people around and scooted closer to him. He just gently sequeezed her hand and nodded.

"We are your parents." His mother said lovingly. She can say the lady will be in her mid forties. She can feel the motherly aura around her.

"You are my mumma?" She asked cutely making everyone chuckle. Her cheeks turned pink.

"Yes I am your mumma." Payal immediately embraced her in her arms excitedly making her wince..

"Wife you are hurting her." Tej separated his overly excited wife not wanting her to choke his sweetest daughter.

"Oh sorry sorry." She apologized and smiled sheeplesly.

"I am your father princess." Mr. Tej patted her head. She smiled at him.

The others also introduced them all. With dev being his brother and yash being aditya's bestfriend to which alisha scowled.

"Who are they?" She asked pointing at her parents who were standing in the corner with tears in their eyes.

Ridhan walked towards her and kneeled beside her.

"Think me of as your little brother once again." He requested hopefully. She nodded hesitatedly not knowing what she is doing.

"They are our family friends and they are their kids." Dev lied her. She nodded. A question erupted in her eyes she looked towards him questionably.

"Where is your family aditya?" She asked and everyone stopped at their spot. He gulped the lump forming in his mouth and answered her.

"I..I have no one except you."He whispered the last part very softly but she heard it. She felt very bad for him.

"Sorry." She apologized. He mouthered it's all okk. His mother's heart clenched hearing his words.

"I asked the doctor he said we can shift mahi in our home. His whole team will be there all the time." Tej informed everyone.

"Mahi are you okk going to Mumbai with all us?" Dev asked his little babygirl.

"Why I am not going in our home aditya? She asked him but before he could reply a voice echoed in the room

"You will not stay with him, we are not going to leave you with him." It was his own father.

"Why papa? Why he will not live with me?" She asked again. Tej took a deep breath trying to control himself.

"We can't trust him around you." He answered shortly not wanting to remind her anything. The doctor strictly warned them not to pressurise her for anything. She clutched his hand tightly.

"I will stay with my husband only." She said and looked up at him with a tiny smile. He looked down at her with immense love in his eyes and a another emotion...guilt.
