Mahi's p.o.v....

"They are not my real parents." i chuckled bitterly....

"what?" he asked me but this time his voice was just a mere whisper...

"yes, after living twenty three years of life with people whom you called your world, you come to know that they are no one to you, that day i felt the true meaning behind the word orphan..." I smiled sadly..

"you come to know two years back? but how?" he asked me getting confused....

" I came india two years back to find answer of my every questions..that why my parents, my doll never tried to search for me ? I was just a management head at that time...i came back with a identity, with a hope that my parents will feel proud of me, they will accept me but what i dont know was i am coming here just to deepen my wounds.." I looked in his eyes

"what happened when you came back india"?...i smiled at him

flashback.....

i landed in india after three years, and suddenly i felt like i shouldn't have come here, my heart was constantly warning me to return the way I came here...

After taking a cab I was on my way to home, but something caught my eyes..

"Bhaiya can you please give me that newspaper"..I can never fail in recognising that face

"Yes mam" ..he handed It to me...slowly I opened it, and my breath caught in my throat after reading the headlines...

"Finally the most eligible bachelor got caught in the web of love

there is a picture of them kissing in front of a pub..he was holding her possesively in his arms...

I crumble the newspaper and throwed it out of the window and wiped the tear drops from my cheeks..

He had done enough damage mahi don't let him win this time..she is perfect for him...they both are perfect for each other ..but what about this heart who still loves him..

After paying the driver I turned back to look at my house..three years and it's feels like yesterday...I entered and was about to enter as the door was opened but few words made me stood rooted at my place..

"Yes, she died three years back..in an accident..so as you said now you can transfer all her properties on my daughters name"...who are they talking about is it about me...

"But according to your mother her whole will is on mahi's name, as no one is here the trust will take over her whole property" a man said sternly..grandmother, what about her what are they saying..

"I will come after a weak, you have that period try to find petition or her whole money will be transferred in her grandmother's ngo"..I heard footsteps coming my way, I immediately hide behind the door..a man dressed like lawyer walked out...I was about to enter but what next I heard crushed my soul..

"We fed that orphan her whole life, and this is what we got raj, you are an idiot"..I heard maa's voice..I am an orphan..

"I didn't knew mother has prepared the will this way..only if I knew I had never bought that orphan home"..papa spatted furiously....

"Your sister was a fool, first she gave birth to a bastard and left her here for us to to cry over her..she was a bastard, and because of her now we are left with nothing"...this was the second time I felt the worst pain of my life My whole life was a lie.. after sometime they left from there..

I entered inside slowly and my eyes sccaned the place, the place where I spend my whole childhood, the place which I called home and most of all the people with whom I live all this years..

my eyes stoped at a particular picture , a picture of me on the wall with a garland... without any second thought I ran from there and returned to LA from the first flight with a promise of never going back..

But to my luck, my destiny again brought me here..

"You know ree, they all rejected me over money and that day I promise myself I will become so rich that no one can defeat me. I closed the door of my heart forever with only him to reside within..I build this empire, the empire of billions in just a span of two years..whenever I feel defeated, there words rang in my ears..I worked day and night..today you can see the results..

Now they all want me but I don't need them anymore because while fighting all this battles I lost a most precious thing..which I am unsure I can get with any money or love in my whole life...."

"What?" He asked me..

"I can't tell you" ...I refused because that was only for me to know..no one knows about it except from two people. He nodded slowly..

i wiped the few traitors and looked towards him who has moisture in his eyes..

"You never tried to search for your real parents?" He asked me..

"No, because I am not ready to handle all this anymore. I am just tired of everything, myself"...I sighted...

"And the person who throwed me in hands of such people will definitely don't want me, so I am an orphan as you can see"..I smiled at my fate..

"But you know ree when I saw his mom-dad, I found all the love and care in them..dad loves me more than he loves him..I got a brother who treats me like his own daughter..a sister in my bestfriend and many more precious relationships..but the one I always want is far beyond my reach"....I looked down to hide the tears..

"But why dii ? When he loves you so much than what made him turned out to be like this?" He asked angrily..

"He is my beast, his anger and jealousy is his worst enemy..who destroyed him, destroyed us."

"One day after office I was waiting outside, he asked me to wait for me..things are quite formal between us because he doesn't know how to speak his feelings and I was always drown into my insecurities..you know a typical boss and assistant relationship with developing love...that was the day I heard the words for which my heart craved whole life..

Flashback

I am standing here from the past fifteen minutes, and this beast is not coming..he always forgets everything in front of his work..

"Workholic beast" ..I muttered..

"You never told me you have start doing such cheap jobs"..a voice made me stilled in my tracks.. slowly I turned around to see my father standard there ..

"Papa plz listen...I got cut by a sharp stink on my cheeks..I looked up with blurry vision to see him looking at me disgustingly...he slapped me...

"I never thought you will step so low, you are whoring around a billionaire"..he spatted at me...

"But I...I started but he yelled at me , everyone gathered around..

"Shut up! You will not work here" ..he said and started dragging me but next minute I found myself in the most warm embrace, my soft chest collided with a rock..I looked up to see my savior standing there, his eyes were straight, full of rage and furry..

"Treat her in this way again, I will make sure that you beg on the streets"...his voice was hard but still calm..

"So, all they were saying was true...you are whoring with this bastard"...he yelled at me...

"Shut the fuck up...get out from my province.."

"you disgust me. What type of man you are, saying bad about your own daughter"..he retroted at him...

"Oo, so tell me why are you carring so much about her?" He asked him..

"SHE IS MINE, you just need to know this..And I won't tolerate any sort of misbehaviour with her"...he said hiding my face in his chest unable me to move an inch..

"I will see you" ...saying this papa went away from there...

"Mahi" ...he called me softly...I looked up to see care and worriedness in his eyes and when my eyes looked around people are watching me disgustingly..

He ordered the guards to clear the crowd and asked me to follow him... slowly I followed him and after reaching the parking lot, he pulled me in his arms..I tried to wiggle out but he tightened his hold on my waist...

"Shhh... don't move, just relax. I am here scarlet"...he stroked my hairs while I was wetting his white shirt with my tears..

"Never think you are alone, no matter what I will be always with you..no one can hurt you. Now stop crying."he wiped my tears

"You are mine scarlet, no one can touch a shed of you. Don't be scared. I will be always with you. No one can take you away from me.. MINE all mine"..he said burying his face in the crook of my face, but his words are like he was assuring himself that I am with him...but the comfort I felt in his arms made one thing clear that I belong here, this is my home...he, his arms are my home...

"Oo, so the ruthless billionaire know how to talk sweet and caring"...ree asked with a teasing smirk on his face..

"No, he doesn't know what sweetness and gentleness mean but he was trying for me... after that day he treated me like an princess..he never left me at my home...

suddenly a miracle happened and my father stopped interfering in our life, he dont have any problem with him.. slowly i understand this all was not a miracle but deeds of my beast...

he blackmailed him over his company"...i heard laughing sound

"you mean son in law blackmailed father in law over his company"...i smiled if only things were different...

"Life was going preety well...one day i met his sister, now my bestfriend alisha..she came to warn me, but when she saw me her reaction was very different from the expected one...that day i made a friend . for the first time who loved me more than a real sister could do..

But every story takes a turn. mine took as well.. but a drastic one, with the entry of sneha singhania.. she was daughter of aditya buisness partner, she likes him...

But when she saw his care, his possesiveness towards me, her jealousy turned into hatred for me. .unknowingly many problems started devloping between us.. he started shouting at me over little things, used to scold me in front of whole staff..

But my love was strong enough to let her destroy us...i decided to leave him because i was not able to handle his lack of interest in me..i decided to leave the job but that day i got the biggest happiness of my life.."

flashback

i knocked the door of his cabin and heard a deep come in, slowly i walked inside..

"i am busy scarlet, i will talk with you later wards..." he said still not looking up from his laptop...

"sorry to disturb you sir, but here after i won't disturb you ever"...his eyes snapped up...he raised his eyebrows at me... i placed the envelope on his table..which he picked up immediately..and looked towards me with raging fire in his eyes...he stood up and walked towards me...

"what is this?"he asked me showing resignation letter...

"my resignation letter..i am resigning from my job"...i answered still scared from his reaction.

"no, you are not going anywhere" ..he stated naontanchly..

"i can and i will be resigning, you cant stop me" i replied him because some distance is necessary for things to work out..

"Like the hell you are" ..he yelled pulling me into his arms..

"why, why not who i am to you? just a mere possesion aditya, whom you will leave when you feel enough"...i retroted back at him with tears in my eyes...

"someone told you something? answer me scarlet..this time his tone was commanding".. he searched my eyes for answers...

"Answer me" ...he sad softly wiping my tears off...

"No, but who I am to you? You don't love me, you never said it...tell me adi, you are shouting at me for no reason, you are scolding me more and more..you don't want me na, so I am leaving...I got a full stop by his fingers on my lips...

"I love you scarlet, I love you and only you tesoro" his eyes are full of sincerity and love.."I don't know when and how but my scarlet I really do"..he took a deep breath.."I can't say whole love speech, and I know you won't mind it" my eyes became wide hearing his words..

"You, really do?" I asked him again not believing his words..

"If you want that much assurance than I can give you by kissing you hard"... He smirked.. my eyes become wide...and my cheeks heated up..

"Please Say it again" ..I requested him

"What? I will kiss you hard and hot..I put my hand on his lips...he is so shameless

"No, no that..that..that you..I was again cut off..

"I LOVE YOU" ...he answered kissing my forehead.. I closed my eyes, is this is what called pure bliss..

"I love you too my beast, I love you more than anything in this world"..I kissed his nose..I know he feels annoyed whenever I do that..

"Scarlet" ..he scolded me..

"You are very cute my beast"..I pulled his cheeks and laughed..whole room was filled with voice our laughter. What I don't know was my every happiness is short lived..

"Who! Who! What the hell itna black and white praposal kon deta hai?" He asked raising his hands dramatically..

"Shut up! Ree, there I was thinking he will not even try to stop me but instead he said the words I crave my whole life"..I glared at him..

"But it was so boring" ...he again ewwwed..

"It was special, very special because it was the first time he expressed himself." I smiled remembering his face..

"When you both love each other than how can that bitch succeed in making you apart"...he asked impatiently.

"One day aditya confronted her, when she tried to destroy my presentation, to make me feel embarrassed in front of delicates..He said he was noticing each and everything from starting but avoiding it for the sake of her father but not anymore.he insulted her infront of whole office..

It was a huge blow to her ego, she felt defeated..the only thing which came in her mind was revenge and for her revenge he invited my worst nightmare, the cause of my every pain...my demon.."

"Who?" He asked..

"Someone from Aditya's past, someone who wants see him defeated, someone who wants to see him in pain.." everyone started flashing in front of my eyes...

"But who and how?" He asked desperately..

"Vardhan, Vardhan Chaudhary" ..I answered..

"It is said na feeling the pain yourself is less painfull, then seeing someone you love suffering"...a tear escaped my eyes while dwelling in the same nightmare..
