《Bad Boy Xavier | ✓》3

"I'm so done," I said in exhaustion as I plopped myself onto my comfortable bed and sighed in content that my feet could finally rest.
"These will do," Aubree replied in satisfaction as she made her way into my walk-in closet and started organising my new clothes.
After school, Aubree and I went to the mall and let me tell you one thing. Never go shopping with Aubree for she will make you sit down as she goes around every store and picks out the clothes before throwing it to you so you could try it on. I had millions of clothes thrown at me before Aubree shooed me into a change room and demanded me to model it for her and when she approved, a satisfying smile was plastered on her face.
It was a bad idea to wear ankle boots with heels attached as well because my feet hurt like they had just walked a marathon. I groaned and massaged my foot as I heard a soft knock on the door.
"Everything alright, girls?" Anastasia asked with a soft voice as she peeked inside before her body came into view.
"I am exhausted," I stated the obvious.
"Aubree is quite the shopper, hey?" Anastasia questioned with a soft smile before her eyes landed on me.
I nodded.
"Well, goodnight girls. Don't stay up for too long because you both have school tomorrow," Anastasia pointed out with a serious look as we both nodded before she disappeared.
"Oh and here's your new phone," Aubree said, chucking me a space grey iPhone 6.
My jaw dropped and my eyes widened at the technology that had landed into my hands. "I can't accept this."
"Yes you can, Thea. Dad bought it for you so you should really thank him," Aubree replied from the closet. "I have also put in every number you need in case of emergency. Even Xavier's."
I gave her 'the' look as she only giggled in response. I sighed and walked into my bathroom, deciding I needed to have a very long shower under the warm water.
After an hour of standing under the warm, running water, I walked out with a white towel wrapped around my body and into the walk-in closet where I found a silky night gown. I changed into the gown and walked out lazily before my feet halted in the middle of the room, realising that Aubree was gone and my room was pitch black.

I gulped as the churning feeling in my stomach formed at a familiar feeling of a pair of eyes staring at me. I turned my head to the side slowly to see a tall familiar figure dressed in all black, blending in with the darkness. I squinted into the darkness and made my way closer to the figure who was sitting on my window sill.
The figure rummaged through his jean pocket before shining a torchlight from under his face which gave him that scary kind of look. My heart beat skipped a beat as I jumped back, squealing.
"What the actual hell!" I shouted-whispered at Xavier who was sitting casually on my window sill whilst I was still trying to calm my beating heart. "How did you even make it to my window?"
"Your voice is too loud, keep it down," Xavier hissed in the darkness as I arched my eyebrow at his tone of voice, even though I knew he couldn't see me.
He shone his torchlight right in my face as I put my hands in front of my face to protect my eyes from the bright light. He only shrugged, taking one more look at me before opening my window and jumping out of my room. I gasped and ran towards the window, leaning over a bit to see Xavier saluting me then running out of the driveway and into the dark road.
A smile was tugging on my lips as I closed the windows and headed for bed, shaking my head in amusement.

"He- what?!" Aubree shouted, her jaw dropping and her bag falling on the floor of the school's hallway.
I bit my lip and nodded. "He just appeared as if he was checking on me or something."
Aubree scoffed as she bent down and picked up her bag. "Xavier doesn't check on people. If anything, he harms people."
I shrugged and stuffed my backpack inside my locker before taking out my English book, slamming the locker shut right after. I turned around to see Marco with an arm slumping against Aubree's shoulder as she threw him a flirty smile.
"Say, where was Xavier last night?" Aubree asked innocently, ignoring the dirty looks I was giving her.

Marco looked as if he was deep in thought. "He said he had something important to do."
I almost choked my saliva but before I could say something, a fiery-red haired girl appeared us in a very tight and mini, denim skirt, her pale, long legs were in view. She wore a white crop top that stopped just underneath her boobs and she was about 5'6 ft tall.
"New kid," her pitchy voice spoke up loudly, capturing some people's attention.
"It's Thea Pearson," I introduced myself, almost in a sarcastic voice.
"Whatever, I'm Lydia and I'm the head girl here," Lydia commented, examining her well-manicured nails. "I just want to tell you the rules around here. Don't mess with my boyfriend and we'll be on good terms."
Before I could speak, Marco replied with, "actually, Xavier isn't and will never be your boyfriend."
"Girl, this isn't a strip club," Aubree added in a sassy tone of voice which had some girls cheering.
"I was not speaking to you Aubree and Marco," Lydia replied as she said Marco's name in a flirty tone of voice, earning a death glare from Aubree before her eyes landed on me. "Do not fuck with me."
I scoffed. "At least you didn't make a cliché scene about this in the cafeteria."
My sentence had made the crowd whoop and behind all that makeup, I could see Lydia's face heat up in embarrassment before storming off. The crowd broke up and Marco and Aubree gave me their thumbs up before heading to class.

School went by fast as I walked out to the parking lot and was heading towards Aubree's Mercedes when a tall, dark figure stepped in my way. I looked up to see Xavier with his emotionless face as his eyes looking down at me as if studying me, before realising I hadn't seen him all day today.
"You don't have to observe me from this close," I commented shakily as I took a step back.
"Who said I was observing you?" Xavier questioned, his voice made my knees weak. Literally.
My face heated up in embarrassment as I looked around for Aubree, praying that she will save me from this embarrassing moment.
"Aubree told me the way you handled yourself with Lydia," Xavier said, a smirk plastered onto his face as he leaned back on a random car's hood.
Gee, thanks Aubree.
"It was nothing," I replied with a shrug, looking straight at him in the eye.
"No one's ever stood up to Lydia except my squad," Xavier arched an eyebrow at me.
I rolled my eyes in annoyance. "Are you saying I shouldn't stand up to Lydia and let you and your 'squad' do all the work?" I emphasised the squad with quotation hands.
"Oh no baby cakes, do what you do best," Xavier answered with one of those smiles that could make any girls swoon.
My heart beat started increasing rapidly at the nickname he gave me. "Hating on the nickname."
"Get used to it, baby cakes," he replied with a wink before picking himself up and giving a death stare to one of the boys that happened to be staring at my behind intensely.
I was about to start walking off until a hand grabbed my arm and pulled me towards a hard chest as I tried ignoring the little tingles. I looked up to only see my nose just inches away from his, a smirk plastered onto his face, again. "Be ready at 8 tonight and dress however you like. It's a party."
Did he just ask me to be his date to a party?
He let my arm drop before digging his hands back into his pockets and started walking off, leaving my mouth hanging open. After a few seconds, I shook my head and closed my eyes, taking deep breaths as I made my way to the direction of the Mercedes where I found Aubree with her arms across her chest, a sneaky smile playing on her lips.
It's going to be one hell of a night.
And I don't know if it's going to be good or bad.
