"Y/n that's the second time.. stay after class"

Fuck.. that's not good.

"Y/n.." Lila called your name from behind, "Why do you keep talking to yourself??"

"Lila! Can you wait outside the door for me after class? I don't trust Mr. Lance"

"Ohhhh why not? Like he's a pervert? I mean he's a hot pervert soooo" Lila trailed off with a mischievous smile.

"Lila!!"

"Okay fine fine, I'll wait outside the classroom door"

The bell rang and everyone began leaving class.

You gave Vice a worried look.

"Don't worry sweetheart, I'd never let anything bad happen to you"

That's not reassuring..

Soon it was just you and Mr. Lance in the classroom.

With the exception of Vice of course.

Mr. Lance was looking down at a book with his legs crossed. He was tapping his desk with his right hand.

The sound of his fingers made you all the more anxious as you waited for him to speak.

Suddenly, he stopped and looked up at you slowly.

He changed his seating position as he sat with his legs open and his elbow on the rest. His fingers wrapped around his chin as he narrowed his eyes at you.

"You haven't been paying attention in my class, I noticed you missed one day, and you were hanging around school after hours with some boy.. mind telling me if somethings going on?" He called you out and you began to get nervous.

"Just.. a weird week you know?" you laughed a bit but his stern expression stayed.

His long black hair was kept back behind his shoulders. His jaw line was sharp as his dark eye looked up at yours doubtful.

Shit he's hot.. I'll just make up an excuse and leave.

"I've just been having a little sickness that's all.."

You almost slapped yourself at the dumb excuse.

Mr. Lance laughed and pushed his hips forward before standing up. You looked at Vice who was already alert.

"You don't have to lie to me.." Mr. Lance told you with a chuckle and you took a step back.

"That demon is definitely close by.." Vice said and you started wondering what strength Vice had.

He's cracked windows before but other than that.. what else could he do?

The teacher reached in his drawer and pulled out a sucker. He opened it and stuck it in your mouth.

"Just get some rest and come to school prepared tomorrow okay?"

"Huh??" You let out with a mouth full.

"Don't look so surprised.. I'm not gonna eat you.." he said suspiciously and you took your chance to leave. "See you tomorrow, have your homework done!!"

"Bye.." you mumbled and walked out the door.

"What he gave you candy?! Lucky!! I want his sucker!!" Lila pouted and you facepalmed.

"Shut up.. let's leave" you laughed.

"Wait I forgot my purse in the other classroom!!" She groaned and you sighed.

"Let's go get it then.."

You and Lila walked down the hall and Vice tapped your shoulder.

"Y/n we should leave, the demons still in the school.."

You couldn't reply since Lila was beside you. When she walked in the empty classroom you turned to Vice.

"Vice.. if the demon does attack, can you even stop it? I mean.. aren't they at the top the triangle above souls and spirits?" You asked suspiciously and he began laughing.

"What? You don't have faith in your husband? Of course I can stop it.. but I don't know how powerful it might be. I can feel a demon nearby but I can't point it out like a shaman.." Vice floated back in the air, "That teachers words are suspicious, but maybe he's just a creep.."

You leaned against the wall thinking.

"Y/n I was right about the answer by the way!! He totally lied!!" Vice plead and you giggled.

"Y/nnnn can you help me.." Lila stuck her head out the classroom doorway and you walked inside.

It was completely empty.

"Did you find it?"

You jumped as Lila mistakenly slammed the door.

"Oops!" she laughed off and then gave you a weird smile.

"Um.. Lila?"

She walked up to you and grabbed your hand. She kissed it and your eyes widened as she began licking your fingers.

You snatched your hand away.

"What the hell are you doing?!"

Vice came up behind you as Lila began laughing weirdly.

She looked back up and her eyes were pure white.

She grabbed your hand and bit your finger which drew blood.

You hit her across the face and she backed away smiling with pointy teeth.

"You've been smelling so good to me lately.." she smiled as blood dripped down her mouth.

"V-Vice!!"

"Are you okay with me killing her??" he asked.

You watched as your bestfriends body began to morf.

You fell backwards as her body grew and skin change pitch black.

You could hear every snap of her bones as her body stretched 7ft.

All while she let out eerie laughter.

"Are you okay with me killing her Y/n!? Sweetheart answer me??" Vice grabbed your face catching your attention.

Kill her? This doesn't make any sense!! Lila isn't dead?? So how is she a demon disguised human!! She is human..

"This has to be a mistake.."

"Focus Sweetheart!!" Vice pleaded and Lila.. or the demon, began laughing.

She grabbed your leg as you began screaming. You kicked and Vice made his own decision as he pulled a knife out his pocket.

Your shoe came off and you backed away.

The demon laughed and you watched as Vice came at it with a paranormal knife. Lila's arm shot out at him and he dodged.

He stabbed it's arm and she let out a bloodcurdling scream.

Her focus was back on you as her arm shot across the room and wrapped around you.

You tried grabbing anything but soon you were in her hold.

"Grab onto me!!" Vice yelled and you wrapped your arms around his cold body as he pulled you out her grip by stabbing her other arm.

She let out a loud scream of pain as she began to get angry.

Vice held you up in the air as you floated above the desks.

"Dang it.." you said loosing your balance.

You tried to get a better grip on him as he held you with one arm and the knife in the other.

He didn't notice you struggling since he was so focused on the demon.

You and Vice made eye contact for a moment as you heard beads fall to the floor.

Oh no..

Vice disappeared and you fell to the ground along with all the other green beads.

Dang it!!! I grabbed his beads by accident!!
