Scarlette woke up and yawned. She was still in her dress. And she was in her bed. Events that happened the night before rushed into her head and she blushed. Marshall probably brought her home and tucked her in. She slowly crawled out of bed into the bathroom. She put her hair up into a messy updo and she walked down to the living room.
"Morning." A raspy voice said. Scarlette blushed. It was Marshall.
"H-hi Marshall. Thanks for tucking me in." She whispered softly, brushing a stray lock of hair behind her ear. And your morning voice is sexy.
He smirked a little. "No problem, Scar."

Scarlette took a step back. "No. No... You can't possibly... No." She rambled, stepping back slowly. Marshall's eyes widened.
"Scarlette? What's wrong? What did I say?" He asked, trying to calm her. She shook her head violently.
"No. I can't... Scar... No..." She continued, falling onto the couch. Marshall quickly ran to her aid.
"Scarlette, what's going on, please tell me." He begged quietly. "I'm worried. What is it?"
She started to cry. "Marshall. I do bad things. Really bad things." She tried to gulp for air. "And you'll hate me for it. Marshall please, I know you can't leave because you work for me, but please... I'm not a monster..."
"Shhh. Shh. Shh. I know you're not... Scarlette, I'm your friend who just so happens to be your bodyguard. It's okay. You can tell me... You're not a monster" He cooed to her softly.
She cried harder. "I... I... I CUT MYSELF." She cry-yelled. "I've been doing it for a long time..."
A sudden rage came over him. "What?! Scarlette, why would you do that?! Do you know you could die?" He said, shaking her by the shoulders softly. "Scarlette... Do what your parents do to you make you do this?"

She sniffled and nodded. "I-I-I-I'm sorry... It just... Hurt so much on the inside... I just wanted it to not hurt anymore on the inside. So... I just made it hurt on the outside..." Marshall started to tear up, wrapping his strong arms around her.
"Don't leave Mae. Don't leave me either... You're the only one I care about. The only one in a long time..." He whispered into her soft blonde hair.
She looked up at him. "W-what about your family?" She asked softly.
Marshall stiffened up. "Scarlette... My family... I hate them. They relied on me and my brother to bring in money... So I left." Scarlette hugged him a little tighter.
"It's okay... I care about you. Marshall you're the only one who's showed me that they care... You're all I got." She said gently.
Marshall kissed the top of her head. "I..." love you. "Care about you so much. Don't you ever EVER hurt yourself again, okay? Don't leave me and Mae."
Scarlette smiled and cuddled closer into his chest. Both of them had one line in their mind they were both afraid to tell each other.
