The next night my whole family was at the hospital. The doctors still had nothing for us.

Carlos sat down next to me and looked out in front of us.

"Killian left the other night. He told me he got a good job and had to leave."

"Good for him." I choked back the tears.

"Mom also told me that you got an offer to go with him..." he looked to me but I couldn't look at him.

"How long?"

"A few months."

"Even with Daniel?" He sounded man now.

"No. Before him and then when I broke it off with him." I looked to Carlos and he pulled me to him.

"You liked him didn't you?" I shook my head.

"If I know my friend he will come back. He won't let this be the end."

I wish I could say that was the truth but I don't believe it is. What he said wasn't wrong. I am just a kid. A stupid little kid who should have never started this.

"The D' Amore family?" We all jumped up when the doctor walked into the room.

"I think you should all go and be with her. She's going to need you guys now."
