《The Beast's Love》Twenty-One

Sadie's POV
"The test results are in," said Dr Talbert. We had been in the pack hospital all day. I was exhausted from getting poked and prodded like some terrible test subject. Every time Seth had lulled me to sleep by tickling my arm a nurse would pop in and wake me up. Each time Seth sending a menacing growl.
They ended up having to rotate nurses each time because they were too frightened to enter the room. Seth just reeks of power, I can feel it but I'm sure not as much as every one else in the room. Earlier, when the doctors spoke of the pain that I had been through, I thought the building would collapse instantly.
Remembering how Seth told me that his wolf becomes calm when near me I knew I had to say something. Everyone looked like they were going to pee their pants before I said something. Luckily Seth did listen and calmed down enough for the doctors to run their tests.
"All her tests came back normal. Sadie is healthy when it comes to her body, spiritually I'm not so sure. It is very disturbing that her eyes would bleed like that, I'm thinking it would be some sort of a dark powerful magic to inhibit the brain like that. Contacts have been made and The Ministry of Health and Magic and we hope to hear from them in a few days."
"A few DAYS? She needs to be seen now! This is absurd! Where are they!?" Seth's voice began to boom across the room. Rebecca, Lela, Nathan and Marco stood just outside the room again, knowing that Seth was in a mood.
"Unfortunately, they are held up with His and Her Highness. They cannot break away until a matter is sorted out."
Seth roughly swiped his hand through his thick black hair, making it unruly and dare I say mouth wateringly handsome!?
Breaking the ice, "Well, can I go home now then? I can come back when they can see me? I'm feeling fine now." I said pleadingly.
"Yes, going home and resting would be best. I can give you all a call when they arrive. It will be top priority."
Seth turned me to and rubbed my arm as he stood up from the bed. Gently taking my hand and kissing it. "You can't go home love, there was a break in at your cabin."
"What? How!?" I was flabbergasted, how could this happen! They always boasted how safe the town was, and for good reason. Werewolves meant business.
"What do you mean? Seth, why haven't you said anything? Were they targeting her?" Rebecca whisper-screamed.
"I've a lot on my plate Rebecca," Seth eyerolled. "Yes, it was targeting her. Sadie, do you know anything about roses with black ribbons tied to them?"
I could feel the blood drain from my face. Those creepy flowers had followed me here along with Mr McCreepy who likes to sneak in my room.
"Y-yes. I told my aunt about them, but she was dealing with her own inner demons and never really thought anything of it. I just dealt with them as I grew up. I saved them all, at first I thought it was sweet, being a naive kid and all. Once I got older I realized how creepy and wrong it was finding them on my pillow the next morning. Someone had been watching me sleep and was able to get in my house without being seen or heard."
Seth's eyes narrowed, I know he isn't mad at me but the situation. I didn't have anyone else to tell. All I had was my aunt and she was mentally unstable at the time, there was nothing I could do.

"I thought since I moved they would stop. I didn't tell anyone in my old town where I was going." I quickly added.
Lela stepped forward. "Obviously this is a supernatural being, they would have ways to find you. I'll mind-link the Pinecreek Pack alpha and let him know what's going on, if that is alright with you, Alpha Seth.
"Yes, that would be good. Thank you Lela, you've helped the Royal Warrior Pack a great deal taking care of Rebecca and Sadie. We are indebted to you." Seth said with his voice of authority. He gently grabbed my hand and pulled me out of the bed to help me to the restroom.
Lela gave a mocking soldier salute to Seth as he rolled his eyes at her. "Way to ruin the moment Lela," Ethan jabbed.
"Rebecca has some clothes for you, Sadie. We also are packing up your clothing from your home and sending it over to the pack house. You will stay with me." Seth said in a no questioning tone. With a quick peck on the cheek he left the room while I changed.
***
Upon arriving at the pack house, my stomach was filled with butterflies. I've been around werewolves for the past month without even knowing it, but now I will be actually living with them.
Rebecca explained a lot of people have their own homes and the pack house is usually for werewolves passing through the area, royalty, unmated wolves waiting for their mates and new mates. Sometimes there would be a few children or "pups" running around if their parents were on patrol. Everyone looked out for others, like one big family.
A big family, something that I have always wanted to have after growing up so alone. Not that I didn't love Maria, it was just lonely at times, especially since she didn't speak.
The mansion was massive. The home was built of deep, red bring with white shutters and a massive wrap around porch. Giant pillars on either side of the stairway were massive. It looked like an old plantation house that had been given a beautifully modern upgrade.
Inside the home was warm. There was a fire going in the living room with a large 72' inch TV above the fireplace. At least 20' foot ceilings and oriental rugs scattered around the main floor. There were at least 4 floors to the house and I'm sure there was a basement.
My mouth was agape until Lela came up behind me and placed her hand under my jaw and pushed it up. "Silly, you are going to catch flies!" We both laughed. "Ok, so here is the main floor. There is a game room, main living room for guests, a "relax room" where we all hang out watching TV and playing video games, a playroom for the pups, a large dining room and kitchen, ballroom and music room. The floors upstairs are just spare bedrooms. Seth's is at the top floor, it's a giant suite meant for high ranking alphas." Lela explained.
"High ranking alphas? What's the difference between Alpha Adrien and Seth?" I questioned.
Before Lela could answer Seth stepped behind me grabbing me by my waist and pulling me to the side. "That's something for another time, love. Let's not over work your brain too much. You got a headache last time, remember?" Seth started to draw little circles in the side of my hip.
"This is not going to be fun." I huffed and crossed my arms. "You can't keep me in the dark." My eyes squinted at him.

"I know love, just until The Ministry comes OK? I will tell you everything."
As I was about to argue I heard a scream from across the foyer and a small little pup came charging towards me. Seth immediately pulled me behind him but as soon as I saw the little pup's face I knew who it was, Max! One of the first little boys I saw at the diner.
Max immediately started to back up when Seth started growling. I gently touched Seth's arm and shook my head. "It's alright, I know Max!" Running over to Max I picked him up in my arms and gave him the biggest hug. "How is my Wolf Warrior?"
"I'm great!" Max beamed. "Is it true, you know everything now and you are mates with the biggest and best warrior of them all!?" he squealed.
"I didn't know all that about him, but I believe so!" I laughed and smiled at Seth.
"Just don't get on his bad side, I heard he likes to rip people's heads--" before Max could finish Seth jumped in. "That's enough there. Go find your mom." Seth's voice was full of authority and not in a tone meant for children. Max quickly wiggled out of my arms and ran down the foyer back to the living room.
"Seth," I started to scold. "That was not nice, he is only 5! He was just excited." Seth grunted and grabbed my hand. Now we are back to the whole not talking much thing he likes to do.
Everyone said goodbye and Seth led me up the stairs to his floor. By the time we got there I was exhausted. The fourth floor was no joke. Once we opened the door it was a massive suite that had its own living room, small dining area, small kitchen and a bedroom off to the side. It was decorated with the same colors as the house, warm and inviting. Large bay windows were towards the back of the suite overlooking the forest.
"This is beautiful, I've never seen anything like it." I gasped.
"I'm glad you like it," Seth put his hand on the small of my back to lead me in. "Our home is bigger." He smirked.
"Our home?" I questioned. I hadn't thought about being mates and having to live with one another. Werewolves move faster than humans with relationships, I just hope he doesn't think the market is open for any retail shopping.
"Yes, I'm just visiting this pack while Rebecca does her internship at the diner. Once we are officially mated we can go back to our home." My face felt blistered on how red I got. He isn't serious is he? Talking so casually about mating out in the open like that!? "Don't worry, love, only when you are ready. I'll wait forever for you." Seth took my hand and kissed my hand.
"How about you go shower, I'll go downstairs and get us something for dinner. You don't need to meet all those werewolves yet. I need you resting." With a quick hug and a really long sniff in my neck he walked out the door.
So touchy!
But I likey!
***
I was sitting on the couch, freshly showered and clothed in my pajamas when Seth walked in. He had a gigantic tray of food so I decided to hop up and help him. Seth stared at me not moving when I came closer.
"Love, how about you put on one of my shirts?" Seth said with a deep, husky voice. We haven't been together long so I wasn't sure what kind of reading I was getting off of him. Was he mad? Did he not like what I was wearing? Oh my gosh he thinks I'm ugly.!
"D-do you not like it? Does it look bad?" I was wearing my fuzzy pink PJ shorts and a white tank top. It was thick so nothing was showing and I was still even wearing a bra. I also put on my knee high white socks to keep warm because, I'm freezing.
Seth put the tray down, without diverting his gaze from me. Amber eyes kept flickering back and forth as he slowly walked to me. Taking a few steps back, I finally said, "Seth, I-I can go change. I'm sorry. I thought we were going to bed after dinner."
My butt hit the dresser and Seth put both hands beside my hips. He had to lower himself quite a bit to finally meet my gaze in front of me. Licking his pouty lips and staring into my eyes was making me feel hot and bothered. His gaze finally landed on my lips.
Kissing someone you care about has always been a dream of mine, hopefully a soul mate. That was who I was waiting on, now that I found him, would he want to do that back to me? Reading my romance novels and watching too many romance movies I knew this could be the perfect moment.
Gently putting my hands on his shoulders, I inched closer to his mouth. Feeling the heat from his breath on my own skin sent shivers down my spine. Goosebumps tickled my arms. I was halfway to him when he finally met the other half.
His lips grazed mine, softly tickling the outline of my mouth. The warmth from his lips finally pushed to mine. Fireworks exploded in my mind as we both moved together. My hands cupped either side of his face while his arms wrapped around my body.
As if on instinct I wrapped my legs around his body as he carried me to the sitting area and sat quickly on the couch. Our bodies mashed together and left no space between.
Seth slowly slipped his tongue in my mouth, being the submissive type I am, he controlled the kiss. He touched every corner of my mouth. I never knew what a kiss would feel like, but I was so happy to have it with him. Muscles flexing under his shirt only excited me more and the lower half of my body started to move into him.
Groaning, Seth grips my butt and squeezes causing me to squeal. Hands started to go up towards my hips to feel the skin under my top when we heard a loud knock at the door.
Growling loudly, Seth gripped me tightly and pulled me off his lap. A slight whimper came from my mouth, not liking the lack of contact. He laughed and walked to the door.
Alpha Adrien opened the door but looked like he had seen a ghost.
"I'm sorry to bother Alpha, but we have some of the information you were requesting." Alpha Adrien looked absolutely terrified.
"Hi Alpha Adrien!!" I said in a cheery tone.
"Luna, so nice to se-" before Adrien could finish his sentence Seth had him in a death grip around his neck.
"Seth, stop! What are you doing?! Please stop!" I gripped on Seth's arm to try and pry it off. The grip wouldn't falter and tears started to brim my eyes. His head quickly darted to my eyes and saw me pleading. He let go and picked me up bridal style and held me tightly.
"Mine," he growled.
"Yes, all yours babe. I'm all yours. Please don't hurt Alpha Adrien OK? He's trying to help. Sorry Adrien."
Adrien stood up and gave a small smile of appreciation. He left without saying a word.
"What was that about?" Seth was still holding me in his arms and didn't plan on letting me go. "Come on Seth? Talk to me."
"He looked at you," he gruffed. "You are mine, he can't look at you. Especially like this."
"In my pajamas?" I questioned.
"You look, so tempting in this." Seth grabbed my chin and placed a quick kiss on my lips. I could hardly see why I was tempting, but I'll roll with it.
Seth put me down and I sat at the dining table ready to eat.
"I have to go to a meeting. Please don't leave the room. There are too many unmated males that don't know who you belong to yet. I'll try to be back soon." With that he closed the door and left.
