《Please Love Me (Shy! Yandere! Male x Reader)》Chapter 36 - Escape Me

They were gone. And they were going to be gone for the next few days. This was your chance. You gripped the edge of your fluffy hotel blanket anxiously.
Even though Alec and Leon were gone, Alec had left you with two guards that were to ensure that you wouldn't escape. However, you had an idea that you could try out. It was very risky though.
"Roger, may I please call Alec and Leon?" The said man raised his eyebrows, but gave a grunt and dialed what you believed to be Alec's phone number.
Within a few seconds, the call was picked up immediately and you were greeted with a worried voice. "What's wrong? Is Y/N okay?"
Your guard handed you the phone and you hopped onto your bed to talk to your boyfriend. "Nothing's wrong with me, silly."
Alec's voice suddenly lowered as you held the phone near your ear. "Darling, is that you?"
"Yep!"
"Leon and I are kind of busy right now..."
"Oh, sorry." You added a little bit of disappointment to your voice. "I was just wondering if I could go down to swim. It looks pretty fun, I saw so many slides I could try out."
On the other side of the phone, Alec pursed his lips. They were in a tight situation as of now. In half an hour or so, investigators will be swarming the house. He turned to Leon and whispered, "She wants to go out to swim."
Leon paused and thought really quickly. "L-Let her. It'll save time not trying to reason with Y/N when she asks why. We still have a few things left that we need to get rid of. J-Just make sure that the guard is around her at all times."
On the other hand, Alec was a bit reluctant. "I'm not sure... thinking about another man watching my darling swim in her revealing swimsuit... It makes me want to strangle him."
Now infected with the same thought, Leon agreed. "H-Have Roger and Wyatt guard all exits then. That way, we know when she's leaving or not."
Alec pondered it for a moment. It seemed like a better solution than having them watch you. "Alright."
And so the rich teen ordered his bodyguards to wait at the exits and occasionally check up on her.
"Oh, and also..." Alec murmured something incoherent to Roger. Leon didn't bother to listen, as his mind was preoccupied on other things, though he was sure he head something about 'clothes'.
Meanwhile, Leon nibbled his lips. 'I just hope she likes the swimsuit I picked out for her...'

"Really?! I can go?" Your smile widened and you jumped up and down excitedly. You heard Alec's voice over the phone.
"Yes but be sure to be back by seven o'clock. I don't want you getting too cold. It tends to be quite chilly when the sun sets."
"Okay! Love you, bye!" You cheered. Glancing at the swimsuit, you assumed Leon picked it out because it was a F/C one piece swimsuit. The designs were plain simple and it wasn't the type to attract attention from anyone, rather the opposite. You chuckled at Leon's choice and muttered under your breath. "Leon definitely chose this."
You placed the swimming clothing at the side of your bed and looked at your to guards. "Would you guys like anything to drink?"
At first, they declined repetitively but after realizing that you wouldn't give up, they finally gave in and ordered a non-alcoholic drink from the room service menu, knowing that Alec would flip if they ordered an alcoholic drink.

It was around five when you guys finished your drinks, the perfect time for swimming. Roger handed you your swimsuit which you took with great pleasure and you entered the bathroom to change.
Once you finished changing, you started to pack the things you needed to swim, subtly putting things for when you leave in between your folded towel. There wasn't much you could bring to begin with, you had no phone, no money, but you did have sneakers and socks and some food that you previously ordered through room service. It mildly disgusted you, putting oily food between your towel but it had to be done. You didn't hate Leon and Alec—in fact you felt the opposite—so you would not call the police. It was risky, but you only wished to get away. However, if there comes a time when you need to call the police, you would do it in a heartbeat.
Roger and Wyatt were currently occupied, with Roger on the phone with who you assumed to be Leon or Alec and Wyatt glancing out the window. You wrapped your food in a napkin and placed it between the folds of your towel. You brought an extra set of clothes with your sneakers to change into. When Wyatt asked, you would say that they were just in case your clothes get wet. It was a lame excuse, but it was sufficient enough to get rid of most of their suspicion. Once Wyatt had skimmed through all of your things, he handed the bag back to you.
Your two guards followed you to the elevator and down to the swimming area. Normally, this would be seen as unusual but nobody seemed to care as many rich and important people have their bodyguards at all times here as well.
As you walked to the entrance of your pool, a pamphlet on the desk to your right grabbed your eye. You went over to grab it and examined its contents. It contained the map of the whole swimming area, including all the exits. 'Perfect.'
Although this five star hotel provided lots of services and 'attractions', the swimming area was only a small part of it. It wasn't too big but it was decent sized. It was small enough so that Roger and Wyatt wouldn't need to follow you around, but big enough for hiding places. There were only two exits so you would need to pick the exit carefully to reduce the risk of being caught.
You had two options. Exit A is the main entrance so a lot of people would be coming in and out. Exit B is much more calmer as there are less people. Regardless, both guards will be looking over each exit. You would swim for around 30 minutes, then sneak into the changing room to change clothes so you're completely different. Exit A would be the better choice, right? There were more people, meaning it would be harder for Roger to see you.
Okay. It was a shitty plan, but it was all you had.
"I'll head to the changing room!" You told the two guards. You held up your bag and started inching away from them.
"Make sure to come back within 10 minutes." Wyatt said stiffly. You nodded and headed into the changing room.
There, you left your belongings, including your bag, knowing that they wouldn't come in unless they were desperate. You quickly prepared for swimming and exited the changing room. Glancing at all the slides, your breath hitched in excitement as you looked at the potential fun you could have with them.

You shrugged. You had 30 minutes. Better make the most of it.

Investigators swarmed Leon's house, inspecting every little detail of his small abode. Leon, along with Alec, Jim and more people, had gotten rid of ANY evidence that they could possible have thought of. They got rid of the chain, locks on every door and window, your toothbrush—basically all your belonging that you left here— and left them in the trash bin where the garbage truck picked it up to be incinerated. Of course, all the important things like Leon's diaries or the panties he has collected have been transported to Alec's home. Everything that you had touched during the period of your stay was cleaned, unless you had touched it before you were taken.
Everyone was there: Grace, Melody, Gabriel, along with the investigators and their equipment. Leon's heart was pounding. He gazed at Alec who's face was neutral, sitting on the couch nonchalantly. How did he do that?
An investigator whose name Leon didn't know said, "Unfortunately, this process will take us a couple of hours so because we want to be as thorough as possible. We're going to need you to leave this house until..." He checked his watch, "Perhaps eight o'clock?"
Leon pursed his lips. That's longer than he was expecting. He was very much looking froward to seeing you but it seems like he had to wait a few more hours. It seemed like Alec had the same thought. His eyebrows were slightly furrowed, though unless someone actually took time to observe it, nobody would notice it.
"Alright." Grace agreed, "Let's all stay together until then. I've been meaning to try out a new restaurant with all of you a few weeks back but... the incident happened."
Grace slouched slightly, feeling like she was on the brink of giving up but then, Melody grabbed her shoulder from behind and smiled. "It's okay, Grace. We'll find her."
Gabriel sighed. "You're right. Although things seem quite dark right now, I believe that our Y/N is strong enough to pull through."
"W-We'll definitely save her!" Leon gave Grace a meek embrace. Alec nodded in agreement.
Hearing all these supportive words, Grace teared up slightly and sniffled. "Awwwww, guys.... Thank you.... You're the bestest friends ever! Group hug!"
All of them hugged one another. If only two of them weren't guilty.
"Now, where did you say the restaurant was again?" Melody went back to the topic.
"Oh, right..." Grace scratched her head to think, "It's..."

The coast was clear. Both Wyatt and Roger have let down their guards. You sneaked into the changing room to change into your extra pair of clothes. Your heart beat erratically. This was it - your escape. You couldn't decide what to do next, but you had the idea of transferring schools.
You knew Leon and Alec loved you, and treated you like a queen in the duration you were kidnapped, however you knew that it was unhealthy now. Although you really did feel for them, it was scary, looking back at how controlling they could be, to the point they would lock you inside a room for weeks and deny you from seeing your loved ones and leaving.
However, they treated you well. So in return, you will give them a chance to make this wrong a right by starting anew. Should they follow you even if you switch schools, you will call the police. By then, you would have written a long letter about the two and what they did so that people will know.
But, that's only daydreaming if you can't even escape from this hotel. You took a deep breath. 'Focus, Y/N.'
You hurriedly changed your clothes. There, you saw a trio of ladies that seemed to be in their early twenties that also seemed to be heading back to the hotel lobby. You approached them and tried to smile confidently, hiding your nervousness within your clenched fists.
"Hi! My name is Y/N." The group of three chorused a hi and looked at you, wondering what you wanted.
"Is there something we can help you with?" One said with a friendly smile.
"Well, I was wondering if you could help me sneak out of the swimming area. My boyfriend is kinda overbearing so I want to sneak away."
The girls' mouth formed an 'o' shape in understanding. A ravenette piped up, "Oh my gosh, I remember when that happened to me. It was some of the worst days of my life."
A brunette looked at you in concern. "Where's your boyfriend now?"
"He's not here, but he left me with two guards that are guarding both exits." The girls didn't seem to be to surprised, this was a five star hotel after all.
"Ah man, that sucks. We'd be glad to help you leave, even if it's just for a night." The ravenette that had just spoken piped up.
"Yep! Just tell us what you need to do." A blonde gave you a thumbs up.
"Oh, and we'll give you our numbers. Just in case things get out of hand and you need someone to call. Do you have a phone?"
You slowly shook your head. The ravenette looked at you and hugged you. "You poor thing. You better get out of that toxic relationship fast."
You waved your hands, "Ah, it's not that, I suppose. He's really possessive but other than that, he treats me really well."
The ravenette's lips formed a straight line. "Still. Being possessive isn't good. I'm not telling you what you should do but I'm advising you to get out of the relation ASAP."
The brunette from before started to rummage for her things, finding a sticky note and a pen. "I'll write my number down for now and I can give you other contacts once you get a phone."
"I'm sorry, what?" The blonde raised her eyebrows. "Who takes paper and pen with them when're we're going to swim?"
The brunette shrugged, "You never know when you'll need them. Like now." She scribbled a string of numbers onto the yellow paper, ripping it from the stack and handing it to you.
"Thank you so much!" You repeatedly bowed your head at them, not knowing how to ever show your gratefulness to them.
"It's alright, sister, is there anything else we could help you on?"
"It might sound weird but could we perhaps switch clothes...? Of course, I'll change back and return them to you. It's just that the guards have already seen my clothes."
"Sure! You can switch with me! I'm like, practically the same height as you." The blonde started to strip immediately. Although taken aback by her sudden actions, you did the same and gave your clothes to her and vice versa. Once done changing, you checked once more that your belongings were all in your bag. After everything was in place, it was time to put the plan in action.
'I'm sorry, Leon and Alec.'
The plan was simple. You would walk between the brunette, whose name you learned to be Samantha, and the ravenette, whose name is Audrina. Megan would be walking the furthest from the guard which you knew was sitting on the left of the entrance so your clothes don't attract Roger's attention.
You linked arms with Samantha and Audrina, wearing a pair of sunglasses and a sun hat to conceal your identity the best you can. You strut with the girls in confidence, laughing at the things they're saying and chatting normally as you walked past Roger who was seen at the side of your vision.
When you arrived at the hotel lobby, everyone let out a breath of relief. Megan laughed, "That was actually one of the most thrilling moments of my life. It felt like I was an undercover agent or something."
You agreed and thanked them once again for everything they have done. "Oh, and your clothes! Let's go to the bathroom and change."
You did so once again and got into your regular outfit.
"Text us whenever you want to! Seriously, we'd love to have you as a friend." Audrina smiled. You smiled back at her.
"Yep! I definitely will. Thank you!"
With that, you kissed each of their cheeks and parted ways.
When you looked at the bustling lobby, you realized that you were all alone once again.
'Stay calm now.' You exited the lobby, heading towards the cabs section of the hotel. It was not far, with a line of brightly colored cabs waiting for passengers to get on. That was when you realized.
You had no money.
Still, you waited for fifteen minutes until it was your turn to ride a cab. When you opened the door, the instant smell of cigarettes and smoke hit you, making you scrunch up your nose in disgust. The driver was no different than your opinion of that smell. His face had a sour attitude, his whole being looked unclean, and he glared up at you with crusty eyes.
"I'd like to go to H/A please."
Saying nothing, he just started driving.
"Oh, and I don't have money to pay you now, but once I get there, I promise I'll get you the money." You knew it sounded wrong but you hoped that he would understand. Unfortunately, he didn't.
After hearing that, he immediately glared at you. "No money, no ride!"
"Wait, but sir I-"
"If you don't have money, stop wasting my time! God, millennials these days, thinking that they can get away with free things."
"If you'll please just listen-"
"Get out! I don't have time for listening to your babbling. There's a line back there that actually have money."
"Sir-"
"Out! Now!" He yelled out you. You never felt so humiliated in your life.
You got out of the cab, looking down in shame as other people stared at you.
'Ignore that, we have a bigger problem. We have no mode of transport!'
You started to panic. Shit, shit, shit. You wanted to go back to the lobby to ask for directions but the line was too long. It is probably best to find the nearest convenience store and ask for directions there. It is more likely that they could print it out
But you didn't know where the nearest convenience store was.
Guess you'll just have to ask. You approached lobby boy, who prepared himself for any type of questions he would receive. "Hello! How may I help you?"
"Do you know the way to the nearest convenience store?"
The lobby boy gave you a polite smile. "Of course! You just head that way," He pointed to the left of the hotel, "And turn right, walk straight for five blocks, left, and then walk straight for two blocks. The nearest convenience store should be on your left.
You repeated his directions a few times before nodding. "I got it. Thanks!"
"Pleasure." He bowed his head a bit and head on to helping other guests.
You followed his directions and although you remembered what he said, you asked for more directions from other people on the streets. It took around ten to fifteen minutes to finally arrive.
Entering the convenience store, you made sure there was no one in line before making your way to the cashier.
"Excuse me?"
A young woman with purple dyed hair turned around. "Yes?"
"Could you help me print out a map to a park? I can't find my way back."
"Hmm... I'll ask my manager if we can do that."
In a few moments, she returned. "Come this way."
She led you to a staff only room and switched on a computer, asking, "Which park are you referring to?"
You told her the name of the park that was near your house, someplace that you knew how to get home to. She showed you the park on the map and you confirmed that it was the right one. It seemed like it was going to take around two to three hours to get there. You looked at the bottom corner of the screen. It was 5:23 PM.
"Okay! Printing...."
"Thank you!"
