《Romeo》Chapter 30

I was going to my classroom, lost in my thoughts. I hadn't managed to stop myself from thinking about what Samantha had told me. I was sure she was lying. However, I was afraid what would happen if Sienna heard her lie. Or my father. Shit!
"Romeo."
I closed my eyes, cursing under my breath as I heard Samantha's self-satisfied voice. I breathed deeply as I turned around and approached her.
"What do you want again?" I hissed between the gritted teeth as I pulled her to the corner by grabbing her arm. I didn't want anyone to hear us.
She frowned, annoyed. "Did you talk to your parents and Sienna? You know, we don't have so much time." She grinned slyly.
I frowned in annoyance as my phone rang. It was Samantha again. I declined the call and opened the door of my car.
"Romeo!"
I cursed under my breath and turned around as Samantha called me from behind.
"Why didn't you pick up my calls?" She asked, frustrated as she approached me.
"Could it be because I don't want to talk to you?!" I replied mockingly.
She gave me a dirty look. Then she breathed deeply, and a smile appeared on her face. "We have to talk."
"I have nothing to talk to you about." I stated firmly and turned towards my car.
"I am pregnant."
I instantly froze in shock. I gulped, gripping the door like my life depended on it. I took a deep breath, trying to pull myself together, and turned around, facing her.
"You... what?..." I mumbled, gripping the door like if I released it, I would collapse.
It can't be possible. It is just a nightmare. Or a joke. Nothing more!
"I am pregnant. We are having a baby." She repeated, giving me a self-satisfied smirk, and rested her hand on her belly.
I clenched my fist and took a step towards her.
"You are lying." I hissed between the gritted teeth after looking towards the mansion if my parents or anyone heard or saw us. "I always used protection." I reminded, running my hand through my hair while my hand was trembling.
She gave a wicked smile. "Babe, you know it isn't 100 % effective."
I shook my head as I ran my hands through my hair nervously again and kicked my car angrily.

"How far along are you? We haven't had sex for a while. I don't even remember when we did it the last time." I asked, unconvinced.
"I am three months pregnant."
"Then why didn't you tell me before?" I raised my eyebrow, looking at her suspiciously. I was sure that she wasn't pregnant; even if she was, it was definitely not mine. I was always careful. Always!
"How could I when you didn't think of me while having fun with your new girlfriend? I felt sad. I didn't want to tell you before, but then I thought you had the right to know about our baby too." She said, pretending to be upset, and sobbed.
I burst out laughing. "If it was true that you are pregnant with my baby, you would already tell anyone to destroy my relationship with Sienna. Who do you try to fool?!" I stated angrily.
"Why... Do you think I am lying? I..." She burst out crying. "Sorry... I am emotional. These hormones..." She mumbled, sobbing.
I rolled my eyes, shaking my head. She was such an actress. I didn't believe a word she said. She was lying to separate me from Sienna.
"Stop playing, Samantha!" I exclaimed angrily. "I don't believe a word you say. Just leave me alone. I don't want to see nor hear you." I snapped angrily and got in my car.
"Romeo! Please, I am carrying your baby. You can't abandon us." She shouted, hitting my window.
I ignored her and started the car.
She is lying, Romeo! It can't be possible. She is lying.
I gripped the steering wheel as I accelerated, lost in my thoughts.
"No! Neither you nor I will tell them anything about this bullshit! They will not know." I stated firmly. "It isn't mine. I used protection. You are lying." I added angrily.
"Don't talk like this. It is your baby too. You have to take responsibility." She said, determined. "We will raise our baby together, babe. Tell your parents about this beautiful news. And you will break up with your girlfriend. Then we will move in together." She gave me a wicked smirk.
"Are you out of your mind?! I will not break up with Sienna! Even if you told the truth, and the baby is mine, it will not happen." I hissed angrily.
"You have no choice, babe. I will give birth to this baby, and you will take the responsibility." She snapped, poking her finger into my chest. A wide smirk appeared on her face. "Do you really think she will stay with you after finding out about our baby?" She added sarcastically and caressed her belly.

"You!" I gritted my teeth in frustration. "And pull your fucking hand away from your stomach. I don't want anyone to find out about your lie." I snapped.
"Calm down, babe! Be respectful to a pregnant woman!" She smirked devilishly.
I cursed under my breath, running my hand through my hair angrily. How would I handle this situation? I was sure she wouldn't stop till everyone knew about this bullshit; she planned to trap me.
"Good morning, my love." I froze in panic as I heard Sienna's voice. She placed a kiss on the corner of my lips as she stood beside me and held my hand.
"Sienna..." I mumbled nervously. My mind went blank.
"Good morning, Sienna. I am glad to see you. I wanted to talk to you." Samantha said, giving her a wicked smirk.
Shit! Shit! Shit!
I gave Samantha a death glare and shook my head, giving her a warning look.
"Sienna, let's go." I suggested in panic, pulling her with me.
"Romeo, you cannot hide it from her for so long. You know it." Samantha commented wickedly.
This bitch!
I gritted my teeth in frustration while my heart was pounding like crazy. It felt like my world was collapsing in front of me, and I couldn't fucking do anything.
"What is she talking about, Romeo?" Sienna asked angrily as she turned her gaze from Samantha to me.
"Nonsense as always." I replied, clenching my fist, and gave Samantha a death glare.
She shook her head, smirking. "Be respectful! And don't be a coward. Tell your girlfriend. Or do you want me to tell her?" She said mockingly.
I was trembling with anger. I was holding myself hard. She was definitely determined to ruin my relationship.
"Shut up, Samantha!" I snapped furiously, giving her a warning look.
"Romeo, what is going on? What is she talking about?" Sienna asked firmly.
"I am pregnant." Samantha stated with a self-satisfied smirk on her face.
I closed my eyes, cursing under my breath. I opened my eyes as Sienna released my hand. She was staring at Samantha in shock, her mouth agape.
"I am carrying Romeo's child." Samantha resumed and rested her hand on her belly. Sienna looked at her belly without saying anything, still in shock. I ran my hand through my hair nervously; I didn't know what to do anymore. I was screwed.
"Sienna... She is lying." I mumbled in panic, grabbing her arm. "Believe me. She is lying. It can't be possible." I pleaded, giving her a begging look.
"Romeo, please. It hurts me when you talk like this. It is your baby. Why do you do it to us?" Samantha sobbed.
I gritted my teeth in frustration. "Shut up!" I snapped, giving her a death glare. I breathed deeply, trying to calm down as I turned my gaze from the bitch to Sienna, still holding her arm. "Please... I was always careful. She tells me she is three months pregnant. If it was true, she would have told us before. She just tries to separate us. Don't listen to her."
Sienna pulled her arm away roughly and left without letting me say anything. Samantha gave me a self-satisfied grin, folding her arms over her chest. I gritted my teeth, giving her a death glare, and rushed after Sienna. I had to talk to her. I couldn't lose her. I loved her so much.
I caught Sienna by grabbing her arm in front of the building.
"Sienna, please..."
"Romeo, I have to be alone." She cut me off as tears shimmered in her eyes.
"No, please. Believe me. She is a liar." I begged.
"How can you be so sure? You had been intimate with her. And you know it as well that condoms are 94% effective." She said, full of sadness in her eyes and sighed, closing her eyes. "I need to be alone, Romeo. Really." She added, averting her gaze and pursed her lips together.
I cupped her cheek, pulling it towards me, letting our eyes meet. "I will prove to you she is lying. Or even if she is pregnant, it isn't mine." I stated firmly. "But don't push me away, my girl. I need you." I pleaded, cupping her cheeks, leaning my forehead against her forehead. "I love you." I confessed and brushed my lips against her lips.
