《Romeo》Chapter 10

Suddenly, someone knocked on the door, interrupting my thoughts.
"Come in." I said as I sat up on my bed.
The door opened and Charlotte walked in, closing the door behind her. After greeting each other, she sat down beside me on the bed.
"Why didn't you inform me that Romeo found out about our lie? And more importantly, are you okay?" She asked, worried.
"I am fine. And I sent a message to you, telling about it because your phone was turned off. So you could read as soon as you turn on your phone." I replied.
"Oh...Yeah, my battery died, I haven't had time to charge it yet." She sighed, ruffling her hair. "Romeo told me about last night. I am sorry, Sienna. It is my fault. If I didn't force you to go to the party to help me, that wouldn't happen to you." She gave me an apologetic look.
"Don't worry. Nothing happened." I reassured her. "Umm... What did Romeo exactly tell you?" I asked, biting my lower lip nervously while my heart was pounding.
"He told me Robin tried to get you drunk. And he intervened in time and dropped you off your house."
I sighed in relief. I was thankful that he didn't tell her about how we spent the rest of the night. I couldn't stop myself from thinking about being in his arms, his skin against mine. I gulped as I felt hot suddenly.
"Did your parents find out that you weren't with me?" She asked anxiously, interrupting my thoughts.
"No, don't worry. When I was back, they were sleeping." I replied, rubbing the back of my neck.
Of course, I didn't mention it was morning when I arrived home.
"Great!" She sighed, relieved and grinned sheepishly.
"And what about you? How was your date?" I asked, smiling.
"We went to their countryside house. He decorated the garden with lights and candles. It was magical and romantic." She replied, grinning ear-to-ear, full of happiness in her eyes. She bit her lower lip, blushing. I gave her a questioning look. There was something more. "And we... we did it." She blurted out, her cheeks crimson red and giggled nervously.

"What?!" My eyes widened in surprise.
"Before I was so nervous. I was afraid of pain, but Nathan did everything to calm me down. He was so gentle and caring." She confessed, smiling radiantly, full of love in her eyes.
I smiled at her expression. She really looked so happy. She was glowing. Her eyes were shining with happiness.
"Did it hurt so much?" I asked curiously.
I heard a lot of information that it hurt so much the first time, and some girls talked that it wasn't so enjoyable for the first time either.
"A little, but Nathan was gentle. So the pain wasn't too bad. And after it passed,... it was mind-blowing." She flushed. "Sienna, I am so happy. I love him so much." She confessed happily.
"I am glad for you, Lottie." I gave her a warm smile.
"Thanks. I hope you have an enjoyable first time too." She winked at me playfully. "And I want to know it first as soon as it happens. It is my best friend's rights." She added mischievously. I smiled shyly and nodded. I was sure I was blushing.

I was grabbing my book from my locker as I heard two girls talking. They were talking about Robin. I hadn't seen him the last three days in the school. My eyes widened in shock as one of the girls told another that she saw Robin yesterday and his face was bruised; when she asked him, he told her someone had attached him, but he didn't see him.
Romeo?
No, he wouldn't, but...
I ruffled my hair, lost in my thoughts. I should talk to Romeo and ask if it was him. I sighed, closing my locker and went to find him.
I bumped into Lucca while searching for Romeo. When I asked if he knew where Romeo was, Lucca informed me that he was in the gym.
When I walked into the gym, Romeo was practicing. He was alone. I didn't know what got into me, but I leaned against the wall and started watching him. He didn't notice me because he was so focused. And I should admit he looked smoking hot. He just wore his shorts, giving me a full view of his chest. I bit my lower lip as I remembered waking up in his arms.

I shook my head, frowning. I didn't understand what got into me. I cleared my throat, getting his attention and approached him.
"Hey!" He beamed at me, holding his ball under his arm.
"Hi."
"Are you looking for Troy? He left about twenty minutes ago." He said, running his hand through his disheveled hair.
"No. I wanted to talk to you." He gave me a curious look. "Was it you?"
"What are you talking about?" He asked, confused.
"Robin. I heard from the girls that someone beat him. Was it you?"
"No. No, it wasn't me." He mumbled, rubbing the back of his neck.
"Romeo!"
"Why are you interested in it? Serves him right!I don't know who did it, but great job!" He stated firmly as his jaw clenched.
"I don't want to get in trouble because of me." I admitted, worried. My instinct was saying Romeo was lying.
He looked at me, surprised. Then a bright smile appeared on his face. "Don't worry. Everything is fine. He will not say anything about me. As you guessed when the girls talked." He gave me an assuring look and stroked my cheek tenderly.
"So it was you." I heaved a sigh and ruffled my hair in worry.
He took a deep breath, pulling his hand away. "Sienna, drop it. Everything is fine. There is nothing to worry about. I did what was right . He needed a lesson." He stated, determined and walked away without letting me say anything.

I put on a navy blue strapless mini dress and did my hair wavy. Once I checked my makeup, I grabbed my clutch and left my room as I received Charlotte's message. She and Nathan were waiting for me in front of the mansion. We were going to Lucca's party.
Troy and Olivia had plans for tonight; they wouldn't attend the party. So Charlotte suggested picking me up.
I was sipping my drink without taking my eyes off Romeo who was chasing some blonde.
Playboy is on a mission.
I frowned in annoyance and tried to listen to what Charlotte and our friend, Lucia, were talking.
When I looked at Romeo again a few minutes later, he was alone. I decided to talk to him.
"You were running after her like a puppy. Your next conquest? Huh?" I commented mockingly as I approached him.
"If you noticed it, then it means you don't take your eyes off me." He gave me a devilish grin, raising his eyebrow.
"No... I..." I mumbled nervously.
He grinned in amusement and left. I frowned, irritated and went towards Charlotte angrily.
Charlotte, Nathan, Lucca and I were chatting when Romeo approached me. He gave me a smirk and started talking to Lucca. I rolled my eyes and looked away, ignoring him.
"Are you okay?" Nathan asked Charlotte, concerned while wrapping his arm around her shoulder.
"My headache is getting worse." Charlotte replied, massaging her temple.
"Let's leave." Nathan suggested and placed a soft kiss on her hair.
"Yes, it will be better." She nodded, leaning against him. "Sienna, are you coming, or you want to stay?" She asked.
"Don't worry. You go. I will drop Sienna off." Romeo intervened when I wanted to answer.
"Umm... Yes, you go. Don't worry about me." I gave her a warm smile. She nodded, and she and Nathan left after saying goodbye.
Later, a few groups of our friends decided to play truth or dare. I didn't want to join, but Lucia insisted so much, forcing me to play the game.
I was sitting beside Lucia when Romeo approached us and sat down beside Lucca and me. He smirked as Anne gave him a dirty look. She rolled her eyes, averting her gaze.
I should admit I started enjoying the game. Especially after the last dare; it was hilarious.
"Romeo? Truth or Dare?" Anne asked, giving Romeo a devilish smirk.
"Dare." Romeo replied arrogantly.
"Oops." Lucia whispered in amusement.
Anne traveled her gaze from Romeo to Samantha who was watching us from afar while sipping her drink while her friend was saying to her something, but I couldn't tell she was really listening to her. Her attention was focused on Romeo.
"Kiss Sienna." Anne ordered, smirking wickedly when others started applauding and cheering.
