Josephine sighed as she tucked a gun in the waistline of her pants. She also had knives hidden from plain sight as precautionary measures. Her brothers and Donatello sat on chairs and watched as she prepared to meet Anton.

It was the day after they received the message and Fin had trained yesterday in case of anything. Meaning in case Anton tried to kidnap her.

They glared at the wall and basically pouted because she refused to let them go with her. She didn't know what was going to happen and wasn't willing to risk even the possibility of them getting hurt. Never.

Fin huffed and shook her head at them. They were acting like children. Donatello had been more understanding as to what she was doing but Vesper somehow convinced him that it was a bad idea.

'The faith they have in me,' She thought sarcastically.

"I will be fine guys," She tried to reassure them. Keyword being tried because they were ignoring her words.

"It's time," She announced, as she watched the time. 

It was five o'clock and she knew that she has to meet Anton at six. The note he left said to meet him where the sun meets the sea and that also applied for the time. Sunset.

She really did not want to meet him but she had no other option.

Donatello stood up and embraced her tightly. "Come back to me, okay?" He sighed in defeat, knowing nothing can change her mind.

She nodded and pulled him down to her height, crashing her lips onto his. She savored the feeling of being in his arms. 

Josephine didn't know what will happen and there is a slight possibility that the meeting goes south.

"Okay... Break it up," Anatoly said, shoving them away from each other, effectively ruining the moment.

She scowled at him and he shrugged his shoulders in a 'what did I do?' way.

Fin rolled her eyes and smiled at them. "I'll be back soon, I promise," She said before hugging each one of them.

Thorne pecked her head and wished her luck.

She said a final goodbye and left the house, jumping into Anatoly's car which he is leading to her for the night. She knew it had a tracker in it but ignored the fact. They needed a little bit of reassurance. 

Josephine drove for almost fifty minutes before pulling up at an old, abandoned warehouse.

She wrinkled her nose in disgust and her hands shook, as she remembered what happened the last time she was in this place.

She was twelve and her mother was married to Alexander, Anatoly and Anton's father and Anton had just started to show his true colors. He was like glue, stuck to her and refused to leave her alone.

At first, she thought he was just protective over her as her stepbrother but then it got to the point where he was jealous of his own father and brother look at her. It was worst when the boys at her school talked to her.

She tried to avoid him but he was always around her and when he realized what she was doing, he took her to this warehouse, where there was a painting on the wall of the sun touching the ocean.

Anton tortured her because she refused him. Josephine wasn't even a teenager yet and he, an eighteen-year-old, was obsessed with her.

Thankfully, he didn't touch her inappropriately. However, she had mental scars for years and still had nightmares once in a while.

After being his captive for about two months, Anatoly found her and saved her. He beat his brother half to death and made sure he couldn't go near her again.

He left her alone after that but now he is back and she doesn't really know how to feel.

Fin let out a shuddering breath as she stepped foot into the place of her horrors.

She looked around for Anton and found him with his back turned to her. She closed her eyes and hid her emotions, refusing to let him see her weak ever again.

Josephine cleared her throat, making him face her with a wide smile on his face. She saw the scar on his face and remembered how he got it. Anatoly had just found her and she was not in a good condition, he slashed his brother's face with a knife in anger before continuously hitting him.

"I missed you, любить," He said walking closer to her.

Love

Fin backed away slightly, wanting to put as much distance between them as possible. "Really? Because I did not miss you," She said vehemently. 

He shook his head in denial. "вы не имеете в виду это," He calmly stated.

Fin nodded. "I do."

She looked him in the eyes as she said that and smirked. "Does knowing that hurt?" She taunted, narrowing her eyes at him.

Anton growled and grasped her shoulders. "Watch what you say to me, Josephine. You're already walking on a thin line from running away from me. We don't want to increase your punishment do we?" He whispered in her ear.

'Punishment?'

She shoved him away before kneeing him the balls. He doubled over in pain but then started to chuckle.

"You've gotten feisty, любить," He smirked. "I'm going to enjoy breaking you."

This time, she started to laugh. "I'm not the same little girl I was all those years ago, Anton. I thought you were smart enough to realize that by now," She voiced.

"I am stronger now and I have an army of people who are ready and willing to fight alongside me and for me," Josephine added. "You stand no chance."

"May be so, but I know that you are still the same girl from years ago. You want to protect people and that is one of the things I love about you," He spoke, walking over to an old television and picking up a remote from beside it.

He pressed a button and the television turned on, revealing children at a park. 

She watched him in confusion. "What..." She questioned but was cut off when he shushed her.

"Kids are so innocent, it would be terrible if something happened to any one of them," He frowned.

"Don't hurt them," Fin hissed.

He clicked his tongue and walked to her. "I'm not going to. Well... Unless you anger me," He twirled a piece of her hair in his finger, tugging on it gently.

"So, here is what's going to happen," He started, gripping her chin and tilted her head up. "I am going to let you have a couple more months of freedom but the day after you turn eighteen..." He trailed, "You are mine."

Fin spat at him, causing him to release his hold on her. He slowly wiped her spit off his face and smiled.

He pulled his hand back and just as he was about to hit her face, she grabbed his hand and twisted it behind him back.

She lifted her knee, connecting it to his stomach and he grunted.

Josephine gripped his hair, pulling it harshly and brought his face closer to hers. "Don't you ever try to hit me again, it's rude. Also, I will never be yours. I belong to myself."

She was startled as she heard him laugh loudly. Anton used her moment of weakness to his advantage and got out of her painful hold. 

He pushed her against the wall, putting his hand on her neck and squeezed slightly but not enough to cut off her air. "Look at the television, возлюбленный," He said, releasing her neck but keeping her hands tightly bound in his.

Sweetheart 

Fin turned her head to the screen and watched as the children played but that was not what caught her attention. Standing at a slight distance, was a man and in his hand was a gun.

"Don't," Josephine begged. He caressed her cheek gently before striking her. She held in any sounds threatening to escape her lips.

"Remember what I said then. You have four months before I take you with me and if you try anything..." He squeezed her neck to accentuate his point, cutting off her breath, "I will start killing people."

Josephine nodded and he stepped away from her, letting her breathe again. She could have escaped from his arms but she did not want to risk it. He could hurt those children if she retaliated.

'Where was the strong girl from a few moments ago?' She asked herself.

"See you in a few months, любить," He said before picking up a bat and smashing the television. "Can't leave any evidence," He mused and then walked out of the warehouse, leaving her alone and scared.
