“Who told you that our studio’s financial balance has been in deficit?” Ji Nuan’s gaze moved to the finance supervisor standing inside her office.

The finance department’s Supervisor Xu was a woman close to her thirties. She wore glasses, was dressed in a clean and refined manner, and was very much the model example of an elite white-collar worker. CEO Jin had a knowing expression on and glanced at the man with a suitcase behind her. She chuckled coldly. “I knew you would say that. Ji Nuan smiled quietly. She carried those reports in her hands and turned. “Supervisor Xu, come out with me.”

They moved to the office next door. Ji Nuan placed the reports in her hands onto the table. She then turned back and focused on Supervisor Xu with eyes as indifferent as ice.

The moment she met Ji Nuan’s gaze, Supervisor Xu’s footsteps stiffened, and her expression became wary. “Miss Ji, what do you… want to discuss?”

“What do I want to discuss? What do you think?” Ji Nuan had an expression that was not quite a smile as she stared at her. “Your fabrication technique is really substandard.”

Supervisor Xu instantly stared at her in astonishment. “What do those words mean? What have I fabricated?”

Ji Nuan picked up the reports on the table and threw it in front of her.

“Did you really think that after taking over the company for so many days, I’ve been messing about at home and playing with it like a toy?”

Supervisor Xu stared at her for a moment before softly explaining, “Of course I don’t think so. But that our accounts are in deficit because of our debts is the truth!
