Previously in the story (Zandrea's POV),

After 10 minutes of staring at his number, i click on in and text him.

Me:-

"Heyy. It's me Zandrea."

Here goes nothing with that in mind i press send...

The next day am awaken by my sister, Ava. She comes and gets in my bed and cuddles with me.

Ace~"Good morning baby sister."

Ava~"Its afternoon brother." she chuckles.

Ace~"Yeaa okay good afternoon." i chuckle too.

Ava~"Come on wake up. Its your first day as the Don."

Ace~"Right." i say and open my eyes and rub them. I look at my sister and give her a kiss on her forehead.

Ava~"So, you going to the Moretti house to meet her?"

Ace~"Noo. She needs time and i plan to give her that. She will text me when she is done. I guess because i gave her my number."

Ava~"Ohh. I hope she does."

Ace~"Yea me too."

Ava~"I will leave you to get ready." with that she leaves my room.

I pick my phone from the side table and see it is 12:15 in the afternoon. It is Saturday so it is not a big deal going late to work and plus the coronation went on yesterday till morning hours. I get up from the bed, do my morning routine, basically afternoon routine. I get ready and go downstairs to the dining room. I quickly get some toast and tea and eat it and leave to go to my warehouse.

I have alot of work to do. I have many papers to sign. I have to finalize some changes in my office since it was dad's before. I have to place orders for guns and weapons. I have a few meetings i have to handle. I start doing all the things. In the middle, my mind would divert to my Queen and i check my phone to see if she has texted me. By the time i finished all this work, it is already 9 pm.

I leave for home. I get in to find everyone, at the dinner table.

Mom~"Come on Ace. First eat, then you can go shower."

Ace~"Okay mom."

Matteo~"So, brother how was your first day as don?"

Ace~"Boring and tiring."

Matteo~"Haha."

Ava~"Did she text you?" i shake my head no.

Ava~"Don't worry. She will text you soon."

Dad~"You can anyway meet her and talk to her tomorrow. It's barbecue night at their place like every first Sunday of the month. They let it slide last time because we were busy with preparation. This time we have to go."

Ace~"Yupp i know."

After dinner, i go to my room and take a shower and get in my boxer briefs and get into my bed. I just lay on my bed and hear my phone. I pick it up to see that I got a notification saying i have received a message from an unknown number.

I open the message:

Zandrea

Heyy. It's me Zandrea."

The moment i read the message, i am over the moon. I don't know what to text back. I am so nervous and excited. I save her number as 'Mia Regiana🌏❤'.

Me:-

"Heyy Zandrea."

I hope she replies back. I hope i didn't take long to text back. I hear the notification sound and i quickly pick my phone and see it is from my queen.

Zandrea:-

"Sorry, did i wake you?"

Me:-

"No no. Not at all."

"So, how was you day?"

Zandrea:-

"It was fun. We had a siblings-cousins bonding day."

"What about you?"

"Same thing as everyday only that today it was as the don."

"Btw, we are gonna meet tomorrow."

"Not to be rude or anything. But why? Anything special?"

"There is this barbecue night at your place every first Sunday of the month."

"Ohh. I didn't know coz no one told me anything about it."

"So, with the reason as to why i texted you was to say that i am ready to give you a second chance. But, don't make me regret it or else you will be having a bullet between you eyes."

The moment she says that she is giving me a second chance, i am over the moon.

"Woahh there my feisty queen. Calm down. I do not plan on doing that. I plan on putting a ring on your finger soon so don't think about regrets. And thank you for trusting me and giving me a second chance."

"Ohh i see. Hope you don't run away before putting the ring on my finger."

"Btw i gotta go Alessia just come to my room. I think it is something urgent coz its late."

"Good night. Sleep well. And meet ya tomorrow."

"Okay, byee. If you need any help, call me. And good night."

Well that was not a long chat but am sure even she didn't know what to talk about, just like me. I am just happy i got the chance. I will take her out on dates so we can talk more and get to know each other properly without secrets. After that our texts will be longer and we won't feel nervous i guess. I keep my phone down and sleep, dreaming about my queen.

Alessia's POV (Surprise)

We get back from our dinner and we all go to our rooms. I go to mine too and get a shower and change into a nightwear and then come out. When i come out, i see Lorenzo on my bed comfortable like it is his own bed.

Alessia~"Yea yea why not make yourself comfortable." i say sarcastically.

Lorenzo~"Why thank you." we both laugh.

Lorenzo~"Heyy beautiful." he says with a smile.

Alessia~"Hey there."

I go towards my bed so i can sit down but he pull me onto his lap. He wraps his arms around my waist and mine are around his neck.

Since our welcome party, we have become pretty close. We talk alot. We kiss whenever we see each other alone in the corridors. I feel like a teenage girl with a crush. He comes to my room at night normally, we talk till its late and then he goes back to his room to sleep. Am happy that he has let me set the pace and has not forced me to have sex with him. You see, i am a virgin and he knows that. And he understands that i just don't want to lose it to anyone. I want it to be with a special person. We are not exactly in a relationship, i mean he hasn't asked me to be his girlfriend but i feel comfortable with him, and we spend alot of time together. It feels right. You know what i mean, don't you? We haven't told the others yet but am sure they have an idea that we like each other.

Lorenzo~"Why don't we go out tomorrow? Like you and me alone? On a date?" he aked nervously.

Alessia~"Umm.. I..I really want to go. But what will Zandrea think? What will your brothers and cousins think? No no we shouldn't." i panick. I don't want to lose Zandrea. But then, again i want to be with Lorenzo. He is so nice, caring and understanding.

Lorenzo~"Calm down. Don't panick. Everyone already knows we like each other. And if you are panicking because of Zandrea, i will go talk to her myself."

Alessia~"No no. I...I will talk to her myself. I don't want her getting to know from someone else. It should be me to tell her so she is not upset that i hid this from her."

Lorenzo~"Okayy then you can talk to her."

Alessia~"Let me go talk to her now. Then i will come back and we can talk. You also need the answer for the date so you can decide where we will be going."

Lorenzo~"Okayy. Please let me hold you for 10 minutes and then you can go. Okay?"

Alessia~"But..."

Lorenzo ~"Please baby."

I sigh and say okay. He tightens his hold on my waist and buries his head in my neck. After 15 minutes, i go to Zandrea's room and Lorenzo waits for me in mine.

I find Zandrea on her bed with her phone. When she sees me enter her room, i furrows her eyebrows and then types something on her phone and then puts it down and motion for me to sit next to her.

Zandrea~"Heyy. Are you okay?? Is something wrong?"

lessia~"Hey. I am fine. I just have something to tell you."

Zandrea~"Okay Babe. What is it? You can tell me anything you know right?"

Alessia~"I...I like your brother, Lorenzo. Zandrea, am sorry. I know he is your brother. I tried to ignore my feelings but i couldn't i am sorry. If you are not okay with it, it is okay i will tell him no for the date that he wants to take me to tomorrow. I will tell him that i don't want to talk to him ever again." i start rambling. I look at her to see an amused look on her face.

Zandrea~"You should really breathe in between your sentences babe. And i already knew you like him. He also likes you. And am happy for you, girl. If he hurts your feelings, tell me and i will beat him up. And you should definitely go on that date with him. Come on girl, you also need to find a guy that will care and love you. Don't worry about me. Live your life baby. Okay?"

Alessia~"Thank you Zandrea for being such a good best friend and sister. I love you." i hug her as i say this.

Zandrea~"I love you too. Now, go tell that brother of mine that you will definitely go on that date with him."

Alessia~"Okayy thank you once again." i say as i get out of her room and head towards my room.

When i enter my room, i see Lorenzo already asleep. Even i am tired today. It was a fun but tiring day. I don't have it in me to wake him up and tell him to go to his room. He looks so handsome and carefree in his sleep. I switch off my lamp light, get in my bed and cuddle into this man that i am starting to fall for.

Alessia~"Good night babe"

And with that i fall into a peaceful slumber thinking about tomorrow.
