《Sugar And Spice》Chapter forty-one: Gloomy

I woke up the next morning to Alex sleeping with his arms around me. I woke up and looked at the time on my phone. It was almost noon. I sighed and sat up slowly only for Alex to pull me back down.
"Don't. Your parents said you get the day off and as your caretaker," he sighed, "I do too."
I sighed, "And why does that mean I can't sit up?" I huffed while lifting an eyebrow at him.
"Because love,"
That made my stomach flutter.
"I want to cuddle, thank you very much."
I chuckled and shook my head before opening the blinds and then lying back down with him. "The sky's gloomy today." I frowned.
"Hmm, it's upset that you're upset," he kissed my cheek.
"Who says I'm upset?" I asked.
"The fact that you cried all day yesterday," he tucked my hair behind my ear.
"He scares me a lot," I mumbled while snuggling further into Alex.
"You don't have to let him do that, I'll always be here to help, babe." He kissed my forehead.
"You want your coffee?" I asked.
"Sure, let's just brush our teeth then we can make breakfast," he said. We went into my bathroom and brushed our teeth. I washed my face while he just splashed water on his before we went downstairs.
I heated the water and made him his coffee while making myself a tea. We sat on the couch in silence, just observing the moment I guess. Once we finished we started talking after playing Friends.
"You're okay, right?" He twirled a strand of my hair while his arm was around me, resting on the couch.
"Mm-hmm," I nodded while turning to face him. "I just wish we could get rid of him so I'd never have to see him again." I huffed. My phone rang on the coffee table in front of me. It was Hayley. I picked up but instead of her voice, I heard my mom's.
"I would like to talk to Mr. Davis," she said.
Did she walk into his class?
"Do you need him to leave class?" the teacher asked.

"Oh no, I can talk to him right here," she replied. "Mr. Davis, you're expelled from Northridge High," she announced.
"What? What is this for? I didn't even do anything!" I heard a chair screech so I knew he stood up. I put the phone on speaker for Alex to hear.
"I said, you're expelled from Northridge High, Mr. Davis. Unless you want me to announce the reason, you might want to call your parents back in," she said.
"Why don't you just announce the reason if it's even valid," he scoffed.
"You're expelled for the harassment of a fellow student, to be more specific, my daughter."
Alright then.
"But I-" he started again but she cut him off.
"After repeated warnings, Mr. Davis, you harassed my daughter. You assaulted her, sir. And the fact that it took a warning from the cops to keep you away, is appalling," she said sternly.
"That's not valid! That's something personal between your daughter and me, Mrs. Hughes," he reasoned.
"If it's my daughter's business, it's mine too, sir. Bottom line is, you hurt her. And the same actions would have been taken if it was any other student. The fact that it was my daughter does anger me more, but I am your principal and the fact that you did it on school grounds does hold weightage." I heard her footsteps before shuffling.
"Would you like to take this outside yet or continue this in front of the class?" I heard footsteps but I could still clearly hear them which meant my mom took Hayley's phone for me to hear this. "You do not do the things you did to someone, Mr. Davis."
"You can't do this shit, Monica!" They are not on a first-name basis.
"And you can't fuck with my daughter, Cody."
Jesus, whoa.
I heard a door open before the call ended. "Your mom is fucking awesome," Alex laughed.
"I had no idea she would do that," I chuckled.
"I did. She's your mom, why wouldn't she? She has full authority, whether her reasons are valid or not, he has to listen."
x-X-x
We were out walking the neighborhood when a truck pulled up with a bunch of cardboard boxes in them. In front of Cody's house. He came outside while I heard yelling. I was on Alex's back so he set me down.

"You bitch! I have to leave the fucking town because of you and your mom! She has made sure the whole town knows about this shit so I can't get into any other fucking school!" he screamed.
"You did this to yourself, Cody. You could've left her alone. Sucks to be you," Alex shrugged.
"Son of a-" he took a step forward.
"Cody!" his dad's voice echoed in the empty streets. His dad walked up to us. "Faith, I am sorry for everything he has done and all the harm that he's caused you. Please forgive us," he pleaded.
"I forgive you and your wife, Mr. Davis. But I can never forgive him," I answered truthfully.
He nodded in understanding before dragging Cody inside while we began walking back to my house.
"I wish I got one last punch in," Alex mumbled.
"You've thrown enough for a lifetime," I laughed while rocking our arms back and forth. We made it to my driveway but before we could go in, he stopped walking and tugged my arm, pulling me against his chest.
"I love you," he smiled down at me lazily.
"I love you too," I smiled before he grabbed the back of my neck while I stood on my toes and kissed me. I wrapped my arms around his neck and his went around my waist. I began taking small steps back and he took them forward until we almost fell. I laughed while unlocking the door and stepped back inside.
My parents weren't back from work yet so we were free to lounge around the house.
The second I closed the door and turned to face Alex, he pulled me into another kiss. He led me into the kitchen without breaking the kiss and seated me on the counter. He stood between my legs as he deepened the kiss, making my stomach do flips. He trailed kisses down my jaw, to my neck, leaving a hickey before locking lips with me again.
I laughed slightly before pulling away for a moment just to look at him. Just to admire him. He raised his eyebrows while smiling at me. "Nothing," I smiled while shaking my head before grabbing the sides of his hood and pulling him back into the kiss.
He smiled into the kiss and that made me happier than I thought it would. He was about to trail kisses down my neck but the front door opened followed my parents' voices and I quickly pushed him off and hopped off the counter.
My dad turned to face us before looking at us knowingly while I looked down at the floor with a blush in embarrassment. "Come on, Monica. Nothing for us to see here," my dad snickered while pulling my mom into their room.
"Oh my gosh, I-" I turned to Alex but before I could finish, he just seated me by the stove and kissed me again.
"Kids!" I heard my mom shriek, making me jump and pull away, causing me to hit my head on the cabinet. "Use a condom!"
"Your mother is drunk, it was a bad idea to take her to that party," my dad came and dragged her back in.
"Ow!" I rubbed my temple while leaning into Alex. He placed his hand on my temple before kissing my forehead and then leading me up to my room. I lay down with him hovering over me.
His lips collapsed on mine once again and we shamelessly made out. "Mm-" I hummed before pulling away, laughing. "I think that's enough for one night," I laughed while pushing him off.
"But I want more," he smashed his lips on mine.
"Alex!" I mumbled against his lips before pushing him off again. "If we kiss any more, our lips will go numb," I exaggerated.
"So?" he lifted an eyebrow at me. "One more, please?" he pouted with puppy dog eyes.
"Alex," I whined.
"Fine," he huffed while lying beside me, pulling his hood over his head and folding his arms across his chest.
"Alex," I tugged at his arm but he ignored me. "Fine," I shrugged, mimicking his actions, waiting for him to crack.
"Why aren't you kissing me?" he whined, grabbing my arms and shaking me. "Fine, Faith," he huffed again.
I chuckled before straddling him and pressing my lips to his. His arms immediately fell to my hips, slipping under my shirt and resting on my waist.
"And that's all you get," I pulled away with a smirk.
