Hayze didn't expect to feel River bouncing up and down on his morning wood so early in the morning. And he certainly didn't expect her to be doing that because it was snowing.
"Hayze, oh my gosh. Its snowing outside. I haven't seen snow since i was in primary school. Come outside with me, please," she begged as she peered down at him.
He stared back, his icy blue eyes half cracked as he tried to adjust his vision to the blinding light reflecting off the fresh fallen snow.
Hayze groaned as she continued to bounce in his lap restlessly; a bright smile on her face and stray hairs escaping her long french braids. The ends of her hair tickled his abdomen so he twirled the ends around his fingers.
"Calm down, pretty girl."
"I can't!" She exclaimed as she threw her hands into the air and fell to the side off his lap. "Its snowing!"
He chuckled and ruffled the hair out of his face before slowly sitting up and yawning loudly. She giggled and covered his mouth with her hand before crawling back into his lap and straddling him.
"Won't you come outside with me?" She asked, her honey eyes big and innocent as she began bouncing on his lap again.
He grunted as she rocked on his manhood and let out a huff. "To be honest, i'd rather be filling you with my come."
She gasped and blushed a bright red before hitting him in his chest. "You're dirty."
"There's nothing dirty about a husband wanting to make love to his wife," he laughed as he caressed her cheek.
"Well if you come outside with me now, i'll let you later."
"Deal."

"Put on your jacket," Hayze growled as he finally caught her by the back of her sweater dress. She was only wearing that and knee high socks with tan Tims.
"But the snow," she whined as she reached for the door.

"Jacket first. It only takes two seconds. Now hurry up," he said as he held the jacket up for her. She slipped her arms through quickly, her elbow getting stuck midway before she finally pulled both arms through the jacket.
As soon as Hayze zipped up her jacket, she bolted out the door and Hayze shook his head in amusement before walking out behind her and Blue limped out behind him.
Hayze stooped down to scratch behind Blue's ears in sympathy. He was still limping because his back leg was still a little tender and so he didn't like putting weight on it.
Hayze looked up and grinned when he noticed River spinning in the snow until she got dizzy. She fell backwards into the fluffy snow and giggled before spreading her arms and legs out.
"So squishy," she laughed as she dug her gloved hands under the snow.
Her dark hair contrasted brightly against the white snow and she looked like a little princess with snow flakes scattered in the strands of her hair.
Suddenly she burst up out of the snow. "Cold, cold, cold," she shouted as she bounced around and unzipped her jacket.
He grew wide eyed when she lifted her sweater dress up to empty the snow out of it.
"That's why you should have been wearing more layers," he scolded as he walked up to her and helped her brush the snow away from her skin. "Listen to me next time."
"Okay. I'm sorry," she said as she pulled down her dress. She tip toed and pecked his lips. "Play with me?" She asked sweetly before turning and running over to a tall mound of snow.
She picked some up and made a ball before throwing it up into the air with a smile on her face.
Hayze noticed the look on her face and he put his arms up in a surrender. "Don't you dare throw th-" he laughed and dodged the snowball quickly but then another one was hurtling towards him and it nailed him right in his stomach. "Hey!"

She giggled and picked up some more snow but before she could ball it up, Hayze was sprinting over to her. He playfully tackled her into the snow, careful not to crush her small body with his and he peppered kisses all over her face.
She giggled and tried to push him away with her feet before she pouted at him. "The snows cold."
He chuckled and helped her up out of the snow. "You don't say."
"I do say."
He rolled his eyes before snaking his arms around her waist and lifting her into his arms. She wrapped her legs around his waist and kissed his cheek, then his jaw, and then she began to gently suck on his neck.
It might have been cold outside, but all he felt was warmth.
He gently let her down before he could get too excited and she giggled before playfully picking up some snow and tossing it at him.
He gave her a playful frown and suddenly she broke into a sprint.
"Catch me Hayze!" She laughed as she dashed out of the garden and into the snow covered driveway.
He chased after her, shortening his strides because if he ran hus own stride; the chase wouldn't last very long. She was short and her feet would sink into a thicker pile of snow every once and a while.
Just as she turned the corner to go back into the garden, she lost her footing and flew face first into the snow with a small oof.
Hayze hopped over to River quickly just as she turned over onto her back, her face covered in snow and it was flushed red. She giggled as Hayze peered over her and she reached her arms up to him, wiggling her fingers.
"Are you okay, babygirl," he asked as he picked her up and she immediately locked her legs around his waist. He brushed the snow away her face and she scrunched her nose up cutely.
"I'm good, thank you," she giggled as she nuzzled her face into his neck. "Youw swo wam." Her voice came out muffled as she pressed her face into his coat. He chuckled and bounced her in his arms.
So precious
The snow fell around them more and began to blanket them in a coat of white, so Hayze whistled for Blue before going inside and shaking the snow off of them.
Hayze carried River into the kitchen and sat her on the marble counter. "Take you're jacket off."
"I wanted to have a snowball fight," she pouted, but yet she still slipped out of her jacket.
"Its going to snow again in a few days. Don't worry," he said as he put the tea kettle on.
He put the a peach teabag in the little china teapot before dropping in some lemon and honey.
He couldn't help the content smile from creeping up on his face as he looked up at his wife through the thin layer of steam floating past him. She was watching him with shimmery eyes an excited smile on her face as she watched him. Just the way she looked at him was endearing and it made his heart feel warm and full.
He poured the hot water into the teapot and mixed it gently with a spoon before grabbing two mugs and pouring them each a cup.
"Lets go sit in the living room by the fire," he said as he held his hand out for her. She grabbed his hand and hopped off the stool.
All afternoon they sat cuddled next to each other next to the fire, sipping on their peach tea and reveling in the peaceful silence. They shared secrets like best friends and shared kisses like lovers.
