I eat my cereal slowly until I finally finished it, i carry my bag to the black car that ready in front of the lobby. Mr Dillon is standing there with a big smile as he opens up the door for me,

"It's been a long time since i drove you to school Miss Avalana" She said.

"A beauty from disaster then" i smile then get into the car.

I open my phone and started to scroll on my timeline, reading a morning news and suddenly found a picture of my mom and dad with their new project in Dubai.

Do they really have to type that on social media? Is that really important for human life? I feel like it is too much. I see my mom and dad looks happy in the pictures while I haven't seen them for quite long time.

The view of my high school suddenly appeared in front of me, the car begin to get into the gate and stop right in front of the lobby. It took a long time before i get out of the car, when i walk out of the car i smile to Mr Dillon and say thank you.

I started to get a stares from some of the students around, is that because of yesterday or? The scars? Is that because of i went here by my family's car that has a Valerie on it?

I see that my friends are making a circle at the lobby, i always be the last one who arrived so I'm not surprise if all of them are already there making a circle of group.

I walk up the stairs until i reach the lobby and meet them, Ezra is the first one who called my name while Apollo just acting like he always is, like I'm not exist. He just stand next to jace without speaking a single word.

"Oh baby what happened to your head? It's blue" Sarah innocently said with both of her hands on my shoulder.

"Oh my god, does it hurt?" Diana asked while try to touch my head slowly.

And now i know why was everyone staring at me the first time i put on my feet at the lobby, it is because of my freaking blue forehead.

I stay in a silent cause Everyone in a group are looking at me right now, i always feel nervous when i got to be the spotlight.

"Mr Arrogant hit her with a ball" he said to everyone and he got a his feet being kick by Apollo.

"I mean accidentally hit her" he said while trying to hide the pain.

"Oh sheez my baby" Sarah said and both of Diana and her started to hug me.

"But did you know that Apollo can pick a girl with his strong arm and drove a girl home?" Ezra said which makes everyone looking at him with an unbelievable expression on their faces.

Apollo looks at Ezra and put his hand on Ezra's mouth before he can continue to spill everything that would embarrass him.

"Okay Ezra we're late for math" He said and dragging him to get into the lobby while covering his mouth.

Now all of their eyes are on me, asking for a further information but I don't want to talk about it. So i turn around and started to walking away.

"Bye guys gotta go to class" i said before walking away.

They say nothing and let me walk away from them, I'm glad they're not pushing me to spill everything they understand if I don't want to talk about it, cause sometimes I really need a time to be alone or i need a time where i just don't want to talk about the problem.

I walk to my first class where I'm in one class with the Dylan, he always seat next to me when we have the same class. I feel comfortable to study with him cause he's a type of student that never gave up before he actually try.

"Hey Dylan" i said before seat on the chair and put the bag on the table.

"Ay Lana" he said turn around to face me.

"How's your head?" He asked.

"It's getting better" i said smiling and ready to grab my book from my bag,

I walk out of the class with couple of books in my hand, I'm ready to head onto my locker until my phone is ringing on my pocket, I pick it up and put it on my ear.

"Morning Miss Valerie" Emilia's voice appeared.

"Hey Emilia" i said while sighing.

"There's an event on Saturday night in Dubai for your parents Grand opening the New Airline office" She said like it is an easy thing to fly to Dubai.

"Who's going to be there?" I asked while finally reach the locker and put all of my books in it, i locked the locker and turn around to go to the cafeteria.

"Mr Gabriel Valerie and Mrs Laura Valerie, you and... Of Course The Hamilton and many other guests" she said as i ignore everyone's stares when I'm on my way to the cafeteria.

I walk inside of the cafeteria and see everyone is eating their lunch on our usual spot, i turn my heels of to our usual spot while listen into whatever Emilia said.

"What time do i have to leave from here?" I asked her while started to seat next to Diana and Justin who's seating right in front of me.

"On Friday, 7 in the morning" she said.

"Friday?!" I said loud enough which caught the other attention.

"I have a test on Friday morning can you reschedule the flight? I'll be home after that" I continue, cause this test is important enough for me.

"We'll inform you about that later" she said.

"Thanks call me later" i said then ended up the phone call.

I open the food container snd started to eat a salmon grilled homemade by Matilda, I slowly chewed it while thinking about what time am i going to be back cause i have my running training and stuff.

I don't even know what is the name of their new airline, they've never shared or talked about it with me. Well maybe Gabriel knows about it cause he's part of the Valerie company.

"Yo Star Wars was sick" Jace suddenly said to all of us.

"No i think Coco is better" Diana said while eating her Salad.

"Have you watched it Sarah?" Diana asked Sarah and all she does is shaking her head while chewing her food.

They begin to talk about the movies at the cinema especially Diana and Jace they're the duo of movies, they're a movie freak they like to give some critics to some movies which I don't really care at all. All i can do is watch while eating my popcorn or snacks.

When the school bell is ringing i went straight to my car without even saying bye to my friends, cause I haven't done packing and i have to study for my test tomorrow. Emilia said that they're rescheduled the schedule we're going to be boarding at 12 pm, I'm glad I'm going to have a plant of time.

When i got home i went to my closet to grab on my suitcases and put everything that i need for the grand opening, included the dress for the Gala night cause dad always had a gala night every time he does some grand opening.

Dubai, I don't know why my mom and dad love you more than they love me, maybe because you're special to them and i am not. I'm just a piece of trash on their life, especially on dad's life.

I folded all of my clothes and put it inside of the suitcase, suddenly Matilda walks into my closet and asked me if i need anything. But i refuse cause she helped me so much, i can do these thing by my own without messing up this time.

After couple of hour I finally done packing, i went to take a shower for a few minutes then continue to study for my Chemistry test tomorrow, i put on my hair on a bun and put my phone next to my book.

My room was silent, all i hear is only my pencils and the flips from the paper but it broke until my phone is vibrating. I look into the screen and see a new text messages notification. I haven't open my text since i went home from school, i was too busy to prepare everything for tomorrow.

Diana Alley :

Is everything okay babe? I didn't see you this after school, even I didn't see your car.

Avalana Valerie :

Hey Diana, everything is always alright. I just had to be home immediately, sorry for making you confused.

I close the text and found a text from Gabriel my brother, i know he's probably going to ask me how about tomorrow and i was right.

Gabriel Valerie :

Emilia said you have a really important test on school, the flight is rescheduled and i'll be the one who pick you up tomorrow from school should I bring some letter to explain everything to your principal?

The way he text me is just like an old person, Complete, Simple and Clear also Only one tap of send button.

Avalana Valerie :

The test is on 8-9 am you can pick me up maybe at 10 or maybe 9.

Avalana Valerie :

No you don't have to just show them your Id, then you can explain what's the reason to the principal.

Gabriel Valerie :

Okay.

I close the text message between us snd continue to read all of the text messages that I've missed today, I scrolled on and suddenly appeared a text messages on top of the list.

Apollo Hamilton :

I'm leaving for Dubai today, see you there.

We keep texting each other often I don't know why it's getting to be our daily routine, but I'm the one who never started the conversation he's the one who always started every conversation.
