"Will you be okay by yourself?" he asked as soon as they reached the destination, her lips quivered a little as she gazed at the building with her misty eyes. She was brought back to reality when his warm hand landed on her already cold and shivering ones. She averted her eyes towards him who was looking at her with a genuine smile.

"Just go and see her. She must be waiting" he said slightly rubbing the back of her hand with his thumb. His touch felt familiar to her. She will not lie but her skin recognises his touch even she wondered how was that possible.

"Or should i accompany you?"

Eun Ae smiled a little, "No Jungkook, Hoseok oppa will be there with me" she assured him.

She got down from the car, her eyes never left the building which was holding her true treasure inside it. It was long time since Eun Ae actually visited her, she wanted to hug her and cry in her arms but she knew that she will never be hugged back and this fact hurts her the most.

"Take care. Call me" his voice landed on her ears and she looked back only to see him smiling at her. Jungkook noticed the hesitation and pain in her eyes and the tears forming in them was the product of that. Somehow he felt weak seeing her this state because he knew Eun Ae is strongest person among all those women he has seen in his entire life.

She nodded and walked away. The elevator stopped at the destination and she instantly saw Hoseok waiting for her outside the patient's room. She ran in his arms, his touch alone was enough to make her feel home.

"Yah yah why are you being emotional? We are just here to tell her about my marriage" she chuckled when she heard his weak and shaky voice. She knew he must have cried before coming here.

"Nothing oppa. I am feeling little emotional as after long time i am here to see eomma..." she was not able to stop the tears.

"Don't cry you are making my shirt wet and also you are wearing contact lenses" he patted her lightly and quickly wiped his own tears before she could notice.

"Okay..." she parted from him and they both smiled before walking inside the room.

The room was posh and well-equipped as expected. Eun Ae smiled seeing how well Jungkook arranged the things for her eomma. She knew above anything Jungkook is man of his words.

They walked towards the pale figure lying on the bed attached with tubes. There were lot of machines kept aside her which were blinking. The light whir and beep sounds from them were the only thing which was audible.

Eun Ae stood beside her who was in her deep sleep since years, she couldn't help but ruffled her winter white hairs. Her skin was becoming paler and paler due to old age, the wrinkles on her skin were becoming more intense as if it was the map of her life. Eun Ae noticed the skin tags and dark patches were more than earlier on her skin which was the clear sign that she was becoming older and older as the day passes.

"Eun Ae, that's why i told you not to visit her. I know you become more sensitive and emotional" Hoseok's hand landed on her shoulder and she touched his hand with her to feel him more.

"Oppa can we take her home? I know Jungkook can make arrangements for her and will make sure she is fine. At least we can see her everyday" she pleaded as she placed her hands on hers. Eun Ae's heart clenched at the sight as she felt how cold and unfamiliar her touch was. She wanted that warm hug from her, she wanted to feel her eomma's hand on her head, on her skin. She missed the time when she would just walk into her room and sleep with her under her blanket feeling warm and cozy, that was the best feeling ever.

"Eun Ae... even you know, that this is the best place for eomma. We can't risk her life just for our own self. We can't be that mean..."

"You are right oppa.." she smiled weakly before getting up. She knew it will be dangerous for her eomma's health to keep her away from the hospital.

"Eomma... you know oppa is going to marry Rhea unnie. I hope you will be okay till then so you can join us. And congrats eomma you are going to be grandma soon." Eun Ae chuckled.

"She is right eomma.. i am sorry...this didn't went planned but i am happy that i have Rhea by my side, she is really a nice girl she will be a great daughter in law i bet. We will be marrying next week so we are here to tell you." Hoseok sniffed as he touched her hands.

"Oppa i know she must be happy to hear that." Eun Ae assured him.

"Fine let's go now, we can't stay here with her." Hoseok said on which she smiled before looking at her one last time. Eun Ae silently prayed to see her awake next time when she visits, at least she hope that she will be awake to welcome her daughter who was still waiting...

"You sit here i need to meet the doctor" Hoseok addressed her to sit outside the patient's room and walked towards the cabin after she nodded. She sat in that deserted corridor, her mind filled with thoughts. She hated hospital, she feel disgusted with the strong pungent smell of the medicines and liquids, it makes her cringe. She bit her lower lip and looked down

The bench creaked and she averted her eyes to see the person sitting next to her. Her eyes widened in shock.

Eun Ae's P.O.V.

"Jungkook? Why are you here?" i asked him who was smiling like crazy, showing his bunny teeth.

He was going to visit 'Haeun', one of his girl i think so as per the conversation i secretly saw in the morning when he was busy bathing. I bit my inner cheeks in guilt as i shouldn't be invading his privacy but i was curious as his phone was beeping continuosly which was kept on the dining table so i wasn't able to resist myself from reading their conversation.

"The meeting got cancelled" he said as he looked away in the other direction at a distance. I smiled thinking how easily he lies. He told me that he will be going for a meeting and as per our schedule i remember we don't have any client whose name is 'Haeun' nor we have any meeting this week. Liar...!

"Oh" was the only thing i said. Why is he here? For giving sympathy? I wondered.

"Why are you-"

"Do you want coffee??" he asked interrupting me. Aish.. this man he doesn't even let me complete.

"Sure" i nodded.

"Where is Hoseok hyung?"

"He went to meet the doctor" i said before getting up. I followed him towards the small cafeteria of the hospital. I sat at the corner table waiting for Jungkook. He soon returned with the coffee mug.

"Here. Drink it, you will feel good" he smiled after taking his place.

He behaves like a gentleman sometimes. I sipped a good amount before looking at him who was already smiling from ear to ear.

"Is everything okay?" he asked.

"Yes... I think so. Oppa will be telling after he returns. We told her about his marriage."

"Good... I hope everything will be fine. We will be looking forward for her presence​s next week for the wedding."

His words gave me hope. There wasn't anyone in the cafeteria and we had some eyes on us, the people at the counter. Damn people keep on checking him out..!

"Jungkook, come on we should leave now as you know oppa will be coming anytime"

"Okay..." he responded and the next thing we did was walking out from the cafeteria towards the room. The corridor was empty, i guess oppa is still with the doctor. What they must be talking, i thought.

"I guess hyung is still with the doctor. Should we go and see?" Jungkook suggested but i denied because oppa has told to wait for him and we should listen.

"Okay sit then" he suggested and we sat on the bench outside.

"Eun Ae i hate hospitals"

"Hmph?"

"I hate hospitals because of my-" he looked down and paused for a second. I knew he was going to talk about his eomma. His expression would be clearly seen, he was sad.

"Because of your eomma?" i completed and he looked at me, shocked.

"Who told-"

"Unnie of course" i added. I thought he will be mad at me but instead he let out a weak smile.

"I love my eomma. She was the best" his voice creaked, he nervously rubbed his palms on each other to warm up himself. He was looking like a child right now, a harmless bunny indeed. I wanted to see him in the same mode everytime because that really suits him, a sweet and innocent man. Playing with hearts and using girls isn't the thing he should be doing. Only if it was possible for me to drag him away from the abyss.

I collected myself and quickly grabbed his hand, intertwining my fingers with his manly ones. He looked at me with amazement and i responded with a warm smile.

"Just stay Jungkook" i said before leaning on his shoulder.

Will i ever get a man like him who will be there by my side?

Within a second i felt a weight on my head and it made me smile thinking that he must have placed his head on mine. I feel so warm and familiar around him. His scent, his touch makes my stomach to whirl crazily. I wonder how can he make me feel this way? How can i even trust a playboy? How can i feel so safe around him?

Jungkook's P.O.V.

She was looking so weak and sad when i drove her towards the hospital. I couldn't help but cancel my meeting with Haeun to be with Eun Ae. Aish... Haeun was one of the finest chick i met at the club few months ago. I should be with her when she herself messaged me to come over. Why i am even here with Eun Ae? Yes i have decided to be like earlier then i should be thinking about myself only but i can't do that..!!

I sighed and smiled at my silliness because it was me after all who cancelled​ the plan and decided to stay with Eun Ae. What has gotten into me? This girl really make me go insane everytime with her philosophies but when she is sad and upset i can't even concentrate​ on things.

I bit my lower lip when i felt her hand intertwined with mine giving a feeling which i never felt. Even her touch is enough to heal my wounds. Don't be so nice to me i might fall for you Eun Ae. You are a dangerous girl, who shouldn't be staying by my side because being with me is like playing with fire, nothing will happen to me but you will get burnt.

Nevermind, i sighed before placing my head on her head. I can at least stay by her side for a while right?

I shook my head just to push my thoughts away. No it's a trap Jungkook don't fall for it because your life is far more better without her.

End of P.O.V.

Little did they know they both have started developing feelings for each other without them knowing.

Hoseok was just about to enter the scene but then he saw Eun Ae and Jungkook so he stopped.

He glanced at them. He smiled as he was happy that at least they have each other but then his smile soon faded when his conversation with the doctor earlier flashed infront of his eyes.

"What do you mean doctor? There isn't any hope? but her reports are always good." Hoseok wasn't able to believe what the doctor was saying.

"Mr Jung calm down, her reports were good but now a days we have observed slightest change in her reports and we could see her health is gradually worsening, her immune system is becoming weaker and weaker. Mr Jung you know Encephalitis is not easy to treat, we have been giving her the medication and all the treatments. She is suffering from Chronic brain inflammation and it is not easy to cure also she is in coma from years and our team have stated that there can be a time when she might die in coma itself if her reports didn't turn out to be stable soon." His voice lowered as he said the last sentence.

"Die in coma?? You mean she won't be recovering? She won't be seeing us? How can this happen?" Hoseok banged the table, his forehead creased. They have came so far just to see her smiling and happy.

"Mr. Jung, she is aging. Her body is in same state from years and all her daily life cycles have stopped. Her body is too old to fight back even her immune system is giving up. We are stating the facts Mr Jung you need to tell your family that this will happen one day but this is just an assumption and we still have hope! we can take proper care of her as usual. Let's see Mr Jung we aren't gods all we can do is do our best and see."

Hoseok wasn't able to believe his words, he felt as if his heart had been ripped from his body.

Hoseok walked towards the extreme end of the corridor, dark clouds seemed to constantly loom over his head as he clutched the files, her reports. He was not able to tell her. He badly wanted to tell this news to his sister but he decided not to, he knew she is sensitive to such things. Hoseok wiped his tears and leaned on the wall silently. His mother's face flashed infront of his eyes who now had 50-50 chances of surviving.

Hoseok sighed, "Sorry Eun Ae, i won't be telling you this because i don't want you to worry and panic for her. Be happy with Jungkook and we will see when the time comes." and then he smiled brightly, hiding the pain in his heart just to see her happy and smiling.
