Eun Ae's P.O.V.

I walked towards the cafeteria. I am nervous, more than that i am afraid. A heaviness is felt in my chest like a pain it is stinging, i am unable to discern the sudden change in the temperature in the atmosphere. I don't feel like i am walking or moving anymore as if all my senses are lost. My eyes gazed the banner of my favourite shop which i loved the most but now my mind was void and the only thing i was hoping for was a good news. I have waited enough and have sacrificed a lot. The heavenly lord should feel pity on me at least this time...!

I saw Hoseok oppa from the glass wall. His face lacked expression and that's why it is hard to detect what is going on in his mind. I hope he has some good news.

His eyes landed on me and i smiled hoping that he would return some sort of feelings and i could instantly decode his mind but i was wrong as no matter how much one tries it is hard to find out what is going on in his mind. He hugged me tighter and after very long time i felt like i was home again.

"Sit" he said and i did.

"So oppa what is the news? is she okay?" i asked nervously anticipating his response.

"Eun Ae the news is not that good" finally he spat, never in my life i would like to hear. Who would like to hear about their mother's news and especially when the news is related to her health which has been the same since years.

"What do you mean oppa?" i raised my eyebrows and gulped as i felt my throat became dry all of a sudden.

"The reports are normal Eun Ae... but-"

"But?"

"Doctor said that she was in coma from so many years and yet they have not seen any response from her side" he sighed and looked away as he wasn't able to frame the words.

"But her reports were stable from the start so what is the issue?" i was kind of frustrated because everyone would say the same thing, everytime that the reports are good but she wasn't responding to the medication.

"Well they said that apart from the reports they wanted a positive response from her side which her body is not giving... they are doing their best Eun Ae and they just want that she should wake up now from the coma..." i saw fine lines on his forehead which were getting intensive as he raised his eyebrows. I could feel that internally oppa has given up the hope of seeing her happy, healthy and smiling just like before. He sighed and rested his elbows on the table.

"Oppa... everything will be okay please! don't just give up we still have hopes" i patted his hand. Some part of mine has already given up but still i wanted to be strong at least for oppa because he has already did so much for her, he gave up his own desires and saved money for her medication, walked instead of taking bus and taxi, lived a simple life while his friends would spent money and go clubbing. I was not able to do anything for her so i decided to go for this marriage just to help oppa and eomma. I know my decision wasn't that good, people will hate me and can call me coward for using this shortcut path but still for me this was the only way to help my eomma, Sometimes we need to keep our ethics away.

"Frankly speaking i hate taking help from Jungkook... but he has trapped me in an emotional situation so that's why i need to" he banged the table lightly in frustration as he felt how useless he is as a son.

"Oppa... Jungkook is just helping us so there is no harm in taking his help and he is doing because he was not able to do anything for his own mother so please don't blame yourself please..." i cannot see oppa sad i need to pull him from the guilt and darkness he has trapped himself in.

"Fine Eun Ae but everything he is doing is going in vain as eomma is not showing any signs of improvement.."

"Oppa can we just talk about how well her reports are? please just talk about the reports... she is not improving but her health is stable at least so we still have hopes right? oppa buck up...!" i grabbed his hand on which he looked at me. I could see tears welling in his eyes which wanted to escape urgently but he can't allow them to flow at least not infront me. I know he will cry ocean after returning home.

"Yes... we still have hopes" he weakly smiled.

"Fine so oppa we need to celebrate behalf of our eomma what say? should i order chocolate brownie?" i chuckled and tried to lighten the mood as i cannot see my oppa sad. It feels like we are having a , yes he is my sunshine

End of P.O.V.

Jungkook was busy playing video game in the living room. His eyes switched back and forth from the clock towards the screen.

"Aishh... Eun Ae where are you?" he mumbled as he pressed the buttons harshly.

Just then the door bell rang and he smiled thinking that it might be Eun Ae.

"God... She can enter the passcode so why is she ringing the bell? Seriously this nerd... She is still not use to it"

He walked towards the door but then he drooped his head lazily and clicked his tongue​ when he saw the doorbell camera screen.

He opened to see his hyungs gawking at him which made him confuse for a second as he wasn't able to understand why on the earth they were here at this time. They barged in after shooting glares at Jungkook. Jungkook shrugged his shoulders in disbelief and followed them.

"What?" he asked sheepishly as he saw how awkwardly they were staring at him while there was Jin who was avoiding Jungkook and others.

"I knew something was wrong and i also had doubt on Jin hyung" Namjoon squinted his eyes and looked at Jungkook and then at Jin. Jin on the other hand gulped and surrendered before the younger.

"What are you talking about hyung?" unable to understand, Jungkook just kept the blank face on.

"First tell me where is Eun Ae?" Taehyung interrupted, his voice was raspy and irksome.

"She...She has gone to meet her oppa... today they were about to give her eomma's report after checking her overall health condition" Jungkook spat still curious about what was happening, ".... But... why are hyungs here? i mean at this hour? we met few weeks ago at dinner isn't it? so why are you here all of a sudden?" saying he drew a quick look at the hyung line whose eyes were fixed only on him.

"We know something...!" Jimin crossed his arms and his eyes blazed.

"What?"

"About you fake aka contract marriage.." Taehyung blurted on which Jungkook choked on air. He coughed and quickly averted his eyes towards Jin who then tried ignoring his stare. His entire body was showing how guilty he was.

"Don't look at Jin hyung..." Namjoon scolded him.

"Hyung why?" Jungkook's voice showed that he was displeased as his trustworthy hyung was not able to keep the secret. Jin did not said anything but his eyes were pleading for forgiveness from the maknae. He kept mum as he did not wanted to make thing worst for Jungkook.

"It's not Jin hyung's fault he didn't do purposely... he just spat under the influence of alcohol yesterday" Namjoon said as he switched his eyes towards Jin who was now looking everywhere apart from the boys and specially Jungkook.

"Why did you? I mean... this is such a shame kook-ah... how could you? is marriage a game for you? and i don't believe Eun Ae... how can she do this?" Namjoon covered his mouth in shock. His shoulders drooped and he huffed.

"Hyung please don't blame her.. i can explain..." he pleaded as he did not wanted Eun Ae to be misunderstood. The boys were not in the mood of listening as all of them were throwing a disgusted look at him.

"Let him speak please.." Jin spoke behalf of Jungkook because he thought that he should, as it is his fault that Jungkook is facing this.

"Really Jin hyung? we still have something to listen?" Taehyung scoffed.

"Please one last time please hyung... please" Jungkook requested, this time not wanting to give up. Finally Namjoon signaled him and he told every single thing.

"Okay but you should have helped her why there was a need to ask her to marry you for saving your ass?" Taehyung asked him as soon as Jungkook finished telling every single thing.

"Hyung i did not wanted to marry anyone and on the other hand Eun Ae was helpless because she wanted her mother to be healthy just like before so we just tried helping each other and there is nothing between us" Jungkook explained.

"Is she taking money from you for this?" Namjoon asked on which Jungkook nodded 'no'.

"Eun Ae is a girl full of pride. She has never asked for a single penny from me that's why she is still working. I told her that i can pay for her and her needs but she rejected my offer. She just want a good treatment for her eomma because she is not able to see her oppa struggling alone. Whatever Hoseok hyung earns is almost spent on the treatment so she wanted to see her oppa and eomma happy. She is not taking any money from me all she wants from me is a good treatment for her eomma" the boys finally understood the real intention behind this marriage and they became somewhat soft towards the younger.

"Okay so you guys will split after one year? i mean when your appa gives you all the authority of the business and everything?" Jimin asked and Jungkook nodded.

Finally the misunderstanding was cleared but still somewhere they were sad for Jungkook as they always thought that Jungkook has finally changed and now living a normal life which they always wanted for him. They can't interfere in his life like earlier because they knew that he will not like it so they have always been a spectator for his deeds at least by being this way they can keep an eye on him.

"So you guys would like to have chilled beer?" everybody agreed with Jungkook's idea as they were out of energy after bashing the younger. "Cool!" they all said in unison.

Jungkook walked towards the kitchen and there was this one person who sneaked skillfully from the couch area towards the kitchen and walked behind Jungkook by taking stealthy footsteps.

Jungkook startled as he saw him standing behind him after he turned.

"Aishh... hyung you scared me" he exclaimed due to the sudden presences.

"Yah why are you afraid?" he spoke as he saw the younger one's expression.

"Hyung why are you here? i was just about to come outside. Aishh... you are so eager for the drink.." Jungkook asked his hyung and chuckled seeing how desperate his hyung was.

"Jungkook.. err... actually i want to tell you something..." he said. Jungkook wondered what he wanted to say as he saw how his expression changed to diffident one.

"What?" Jungkook asked.

"Well... as we all know that your marriage means nothing and that Eun Ae is just other girl for you so-" he paused awkwardly as he tried sensing Jungkook's expression.

"So?"

finally he spoke on which Jungkook's eyes went round in disbelief.
