Today decided to be very sunny out in the morning. Alexander contacted news reporters and camera men so we can talk to everyone in the whole world. We drove to Delilah's Park that is an hour away to have the announcement taken place.

They made a small stage where we can stand and show ourselves. Humans and vampires crowded around us to hear what is going on. There was about five microphones pulled together so we can talk and a podium. Once of the camera men tell us that we have one minute till they record us on the breaking news all around the world.

Xavier looks at me while I give him a soft nod. We walk to the podium, the microphones turning on and I feel myself shaking. I turn to face Alexander who is sitting besides his mother who looks like she is out of this world. He smiles at me until the a news reporter counts down to 1 from 3.

"Three, two, one..." Xavier sighs while looking at the silent crowd around us.

"Hello, humans and vampires, I am Xavier Gregory Dagger." He pauses, a loud breath through the mic. I feel his hand wrap around mine between us. "I will be taking the death of my father, Jean Alexander Daggers' throne."

"I thought it was his other son Alexander Dagger!" A vampire shouts through the crowd and other people agree with him.

"Well, he handed the spot to me and I am taking it. And now that I am the new King of Vampires and for humans, I will be changing some rules." Complains appear through the crowd. I look down in silence. "Calm down, nothing big but you all must be wondering the recent accident of my father's death."

"What did happen!" Someone shouts and we hear the Queen sniffle some tears behind us. The video men are pointing at her, I'm feeling a bit disturbed that they are... I would have wanted privacy except them videoing me and showing the whole world.

"Not many of you all know about the Prophecy. The Prophecy that was in my family for a long time. When the war of Vampires and Humans broke out, the witches created a Prophecy which would be for me. The youngest son, Xavier Dagger will fall in love with a human to show that both kinds will come at peace." Shouting from people appear and the whole crowd go in a riot. Xavier let goes of me and clenches his fists at his side, shouting through the mic.

Eventually, everyone stopped, turning back around to face us, their faces expressing not so happy details. One vampire snarls at me, his fangs long in his mouth, his head gesturing at me.

"And I'm guessing she is the human."

"Yes, she is. Her name is Diana Wilson and she will be by my side as mine and your Queen. You all will treat her the same as you all do for my family and I... no buts. Now, back to what I was saying. There was a witch who was turned into a vampire years ago and hid it as a secret. His name was Andrew Walsh and you all must know he was the one who caused my fathers death."

"He didn't want the Prophecy to live on and tried to kill Diana and my family. Dylan Decker and some of his friends also died along with him, but earning the death of my father and sister."

"How about if we don't want you to be with a human." The same vampire snapped back at Xavier. Suddenly, the guards beside us take a step closer to the crowd, people moving back so they be feared.

"You don't like it? None of my problem. If anyone comes in contact with my family or my love, my guards will do the help to kill you. There will be no war between vampires and humans, if humans die in front of my eyes, I won't hesitate to kill the vampire who did it." Some humans thanked him but the vampires spat with hate.

"So you are going against your own kind." It wasn't a question, it was a statement. Xavier choked on his words because he didn't know what to say back.

"No I am not. Killing humans isn't some game for us. We need them for supply, for feeding to our fill." I felt a bit disgusted when he said that but I understood what he meant. Xavier is still young and not ready to be King. He doesn't know how to fully explain things.

"One more thing, if there is any witches hiding in this world show yourselves. You cowards hiding amongst us who didn't kill yourselves like every other witch did so just do this. Kill yourselves now or we will come after you and do it for you. I will not let anyone harm my family like Andrew Walsh did." He pauses, looking at the camera men in front of us then nodding his head.

"Thank you." He adds before turning his heel and walking off the stage. Humans cheered because amazing things are happening to them but the vampires aren't so happy about any of this. Vampires like one thing in this world which is like feeding. Hunting their prey and killing them like a game. There was no just feeding on humans and leaving them alone. They like the rush of it.

I follow Xavier who is walking to the car with Alexander and the -not anymore- Queen behind us. We get in and the driver drives off.

"That's it?" I ask Xavier and he rests his hand on my thigh.

"That's it." He whispers back while we watch the trees run past us... waiting till we get back home.

Xavier and I are laying on his bed while the television is playing a movie.

"So now that you are King, what do you have to do?"

"I'm going to have to go to meetings and for my fathers' CEO business and all that whatnot."

"Oh so that means I'm not going to see you all the time then?" I whine and a smirk appears on his face.

"That doesn't mean anything. We can still do our dirty stuff."

"What dirty stuff." I joke and surprisingly, he moved our positions and he was on top of me, straddling my waist. He runs his hands down on the bed, bringing them up to my face and cupping my cheeks. He leans down so we are inches apart and he smiles at me. I look in his eyes and they are beautiful and bright, full with happiness.

"You know what I mean." He says before bringing his lips lightly against mine, making me want more. I can't hold myself around him, I want to love him. I lift my head, closing my eyes and kissing him, his mouth moving against mine. I wrap my legs around his torso, bringing him closer to me than we can. "We can have Xavier babies running around this whole mansion." He says and I let out a laugh.

"Not until we are older."

"Let's not wait you grandma."

"Oh kill yourself." I joke.

"I'd rather not to."

I wanted in control so I roll our positions, now I am on top of him. I help him take off his shirt while grabbing a fistful of his hair between my fingers. I lean down to his toned body, kissing every inch of his stomach to his chest and up to his neck. I give him open-mouth kisses on his neck, nibbling some parts which make him groan through his hitching breaths.

I giggle against his skin, indulging in his own scent and loving it, kissing up to his jawline. And that kind of turned him on. I feel his little friend between my legs hit me from the inside of his jeans. I ignore it, bringing my lips back on his, and we roll over, I'm below him once again.

"I need you Diana." He whispers at the croak of my neck, tilting my head all the way back so he has access. I feel his fangs graze down to my chest than up back to my neck. "I love you, please know that forever." He adds between sucking on my skin. I clench onto his hair, pulling his head back so I can look in his eyes.

"I love you too." I whisper, letting his hands roam all over my naked flesh that is exposed.

Eventually, things went off a bit much and the night went on. Xavier and I loved each other, clung together nakedly with passion. It felt like nothing else was happening but between us and only us. We were the only two people alive in this messed up mad world. The Prophecy meant this to happen and it did, we loved each other. Nothing could rip us apart. Nothing could end the nights we stand together or fight alone. We were a pair, a living pair. A vampire and a human. Who thought those two can come together and fall for each other? No one.

It's like the eternity life just wanted something odd to happen and it did.
