I sprinted out of the house as fast as I can and made my way to one of my cars.

I linked Johnson telling him about the situation and he said for me to wait for him.

He rushed out of the pack house and ran to the car as fast as he can and jumped in.

"Go go go." He rushed and I nodded speeding away. I have to get there fast before something happens to Sophie.

I was shook. I couldn't move. My eyes could not believe what they just witnessed.

I was walking around, not paying much attention, trying to find the others and bumped into a guy. The books he was carrying fell, I apologized quickly and helped him pick them up. I handed them to him and smiled. He was about to say thank you when a loud bang cut him off. Suddenly the guy in front of me fell to the floor and he was surrounded with his own pool of blood. I screamed and fell to the floor next to him, trying to help him in any way possible.

The events kept replaying in my head over and over again that I didn't even realize one of the guards Jack assigned had carried me, and was taking me away from the scene.

I started thrashing around, I needed to know that the guy is alive.

Who would even shoot an innocent person?

"Luna please calm down, I have to take you back and away from this, it's too dangerous to stay here." He said while still holding onto me, walking away from the scene.

I saw Morgan and her guard following behind us closely. I started sobbing uncontrollably, a guy just got shot infront of me and I have no idea if he's alive.

I parked the car and sprinted out of it, Johnson following closely behind.

The cops were already here and they wouldn't let anyone into mall, but after I scared them with a loud growl, they whimpered in fear and made way for me to enter.

The murder scene was right in the centre of the mall, and people were screaming, running, and leaving. I pushed through the people and saw the same guy I saw on my phone, lying on the floor but my mate was nowhere to be seen.

I growled lowly and so did Johnson. I caught my mates scent but too many people were here which confused my wolf and I. We couldn't locate her.

'What if he took them?' Linked Johnson and I growled at the idea.

He couldn't. I was about to say something when I remembered I sent guards with them.

If they didn't protect their Luna or their female Beta I will personally kill them.

'Jeff, where is my mate?' I asked sternly through the mind link.

'Oh thank God Alpha, I've been trying to link you but you blocked me out, the Luna was in danger and-' I growled.

'Anyways the Luna is freaking out, she's sobbing uncontrollably and I don't know how to calm her down. We're almost at the pack house, hurry Alpha please.' Jeff linked and I almost growled at him commanding me but referred from doing so since he was just trying to help.

"Let's go!" I commanded Johnson and he nodded, following me back to the car quickly.

I parked the car in the driveway to see Jeff walking closely to the pack house, carrying my mate. Her head was laying on his chest, and her arms were wrapped around him tightly.

I clenched my jaw angrily at the sight infront of me.

An unmated male is touching my mate, it angered my wolf.

I got out of the car and slammed the door aggressively making it rip off the hinges. Oh well. I let out a terrifying growl which got the attention from the whole pack.

I saw my mate look up with a terrified expression on her face, my wolf whimpered at the thought of us scaring our mate, but I ignored him.
