Savannah's POV

Today was Parker and Mia's wedding. It was beautiful and sunny, perfect for a wedding. I was getting ready to go over to their house while the guys were going to get ready here.

"Nate can you get my necklace?" I asked him while he sat on my bed watching me run around like a maniac

"Sure, where is it?"

"Top drawer"

He walked over to it and I went to the bathroom to grab the matching earrings. I am definitely not a neat person. I walked back in the room and Nate was still by my dresser where the necklace is.

"Did you find it?"

"What the hell is this?!" he looked vived. In his hand was my letter for the American team

"Nate I-"

"Why didn't you tell me?! You know what never mind!" He went to walk out but turned around "Oh and don't bother talking to me at the wedding, I'll find a different date" I felt like I had been punched in the throat and my eyes started to water. His face softened slightly

"Savannah that's not what I-"

"No it's fine I don't want to keep you held down" I grabbed the necklace and my bag before exiting the room quickly. When I got out to the car I broke. I started sobbing, how could I have been so stupid! When I finally composed myself I pulled out and drove to Mia and Parker's.

I checked my eyes one last time making sure the redness had died down so it didn't look like I was crying, it was their day, my problems can be put on hold.

"Oh good you're here" Mia answered the door "Savannah this is my sister Julie, and my other friends Sarah, Carmen, Bridget and Morgan. Girls this is my friend and Nate's girlfriend Savannah" I felt my stomach clench when she called me Nate's girlfriend.

"It's nice to meet you" The girl who Mia called Bridget said

"It's nice to meet you too, all of you"

"Wow Nate really knows how to pick his girlfriends, you're beautiful!" Morgan said

"Thanks"

"Well come on! The wedding is in two hours"

We all spent the next two hours putting on makeup and getting our hair done before getting in our dresses and piling out to the limo. When we got the the groomsmen were already there, they consisted of Nate, Brayden, Austin, and Parker's friends Tyler, David and Alex. I looked over at Nate and his arm was actually around another girl and he was laughing with a group of people I didn't know. I felt like I was going to be sick, he actually got another date?

"Are you okay? You look pale" Brayden came over to me

My head started spinning and my legs went weak until they finally gave way and I collapsed with Brayden catching me just in time.

"Savannah!" He yelled and that was the last thing I remember before everything went black.

"Savannah I'm so sorry" I felt my hand getting wet with the person's tears but I couldn't quite place the voice "Damn it this is the second time I've done this to you!" In an instant I knew it was Nate. I moved slightly "Nate?" I eyes darted up and they were red and puffy showing he was crying

"Savannah I'm so sorry, I was angry and hurt and I keep making mistakes and-"

"I just have a question. Did you really bring another date?" he look guilty

"I was angry and the minute I saw you I knew I had made a mistake"

"Did you tell her to leave?" he looked even guiltier

"No" I felt hurt and angry

"Than just go back out to her. Tell Mia I'm coming now"

"Savannah"

"No! I clearly don't mean that much to you since you actually brought another date! And when you saw how hurt I was and how I fainted you didn't tell her to leave?! What in case I said no?! Well here you go, go be with her" I started to cry, no I started sobbing and I felt arms wrap around me

"Leave me alone" I said to Nate

"I'm not leaving you like this" he said calmly

"Do I really mean nothing to you? I thought you loved me?" I was no longer angry, I was heartbroken

"I do love you, more than anything"

"Oh yeah the other date totally shows that" I scoffed and with that I walked out

"Are you okay?" Mia rushed over

"Yeah I'm fine. I'm sorry I delayed the wedding"

"It's fine as long as you're okay"

We got in line to walk down the aisle and Nate came up to me since we were walking together.

"I told her to leave" he said still looking forward "I said I made a huge mistake and that I love someone else" he turned me so I was facing him "I love you Savannah and I'm so sorry I keep screwing up"

I thought for a moment "I'm sorry too. Later we'll talk about that letter okay?"

"So am I forgiven?"

"Yes" he smile brightly and I knew I made the right choice

The couple in front of us walked so we quickly turned around and followed them down the aisle. We walked as gracefully down the aisle as possible towards Parker and his best man Tyler and Julie was Mia's maid of honour. When Parker saw Mia he looked stunned before his eyes started to water. The ceremony started and me and Nate locked eyes, he sent me a breathtaking smile and wink.

"Do you Mia Nichole Clark take Parker Andrew Court as your lawfully wedded husband?"

"I do"

"And do you Parker Andrew Court take Mia Nichole Clark as your lawfully wedded wife?"

"I do"

"By the power invested in me I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss your bride"

Parker's arm circled Mia's waist and he pulled her into him before pressing his lips to her with everyone cheering in the background. We all then went for pictures while the rest of the wedding had cocktail hour. The winery had a beautiful area to take photos so we didn't have to travel far and after an hour we were announced in the reception room and meals soon started piling out. After dinner they had the first dances and soon everyone was invited on the dance floor. Nate and I danced together and I decided it was finally time to talk about the letter

"Do you want to talk about the letter?"

"Sure, let's go somewhere quiet" I nodded and followed him out into a small sitting area

"I got the letter the day your mom came. At the time of course I didn't think you guys were rich so to me it was never an option, then I found out you guys were rich but you all have already done so much for me it didn't seem fair to ask for more money"

"Savannah we have so much money we don't even know what to do with it all"

"It just didn't seem fair" he dug into his pocket and pulled out a small box "Um don't the gifts go to the bride and groom?"

"Not this one" He handed me the box and when I pulled the top off there was a check that would cover the costs of the soccer tryouts and at the bottom his name was signed. My hand flew up to my mouth "Oh Nate" I felt my eyes water "This is too much"

"Not at all. Think about it we could be the ultimate soccer couple" he said and I laughed

"I love you so much"

"I love you too. Forever and always"

We walked back into the reception and went to the dance floor. A slow song was playing and all the couples were dancing, I looked over at Brayden and he was dancing with some blonde. Wait that wasn't any blonde. That was my blonde.

"Brooke?" I said clearly not loud enough for her to hear but Nate did

"What did you say?"

"Is that Brooke?" The song ended and I took off towards them and as I got closer I noticed it was

"Brooke!" I called and she turned and faced me

"Savvy!" we ran as fast as we could in heels into each other's arms

"How long are you here for?"

"Four days. I would've tried to see you sooner but I came late"

"I can't believe you're here"

"Tomorrow you are telling me all about Paris"

"Sure"

"May I steal her?" Brayden asked

"Of course. I'll see you tomorrow, wanna go out for lunch?"

"Yeah, I'll see you"

Nate and I danced for a few more songs until we got tired and had to sit down

"Okay ladies it's time to throw the bouquet" Julie said and all the girls rushed over to wear Mia stood. She turned around and tossed the bouquet behind her back into the herd of girls. And guess who caught it. That's right, I did. I couldn't take the huge smile off my face. Nate came over and grabbed my waist and kissed me.

"I love you"

"I love you too"

"Why don't we get out of here. I have a hotel room booked" he whispered huskily in my ear

"I'd love to" I grabbed my phone and bouquet and we headed out towards the room.
