Nathaniel's POV

I was miserable. It has been four days since I broke up with Savannah and I regretted it, oh man did I regret it. Brayden and Austin had called a few times and once and awhile I would hear Savannah's muffled cries through the phone and every time my heart broke a little more. You're probably wondering why I haven't talked to her yet and I just can't after I was such a dick to her and then at school today I didn't help my chances with the mean comments my friends and I threw at her. After sitting on Jack's couch while he was out with Bethany, his girl of the week, I decided it was time to stop being an ass and hope I'm not too late to get her back. I dressed in a pair of bage pants with a black button down shirt after rolling my sleeves up to my elbows and grabbing my black converse I set out to my house. On my way I pass a flower shop and hoping it might help my chances I bought a dozen red roses. When I arrived the cars were gone, I had forgot they were going to see Mia and Parker, I still went inside hoping Savannah was there. I walked into the living room and she wasn't there when I turned around her back was to me and she was holding a remote as a self defence weapon "A remote really?"

"Going on a date tonight?" She asked softly

"Only if she says yes"

"Well she would be a fool not to" she gave a small smile

"Savannah" I whipped a tear away that had fallen

"You better get going. To ask that girl on a date" she went to walk upstairs

"I've made the biggest mistake of my life!" I called after her "I let you go" I whispered when I stood in front of her

"Nate. I'm not gonna be in a relationship with someone who doesn't trust me"

"But I do. I was angry when I said that. I know you wouldn't cheat on me"

"You broke my heart" She whispered

"I know and I hate myself for it"

"You went on a date with another girl three days after we broke up and you want me to believe you when you say you like me"

"Wait date?"

"Don't play stupid Nathaniel I saw you yesterday with her getting ice cream"

"Savannah that was Phoebe"

"And that's supposed to make me feel better how?"

I chuckled "That's Jack's younger sister Phoebe. Jack was busy and Phoebe wanted ice cream so I took her"

"Brayden never said it was Jack's sister"

"That's because Brayden didn't know"

"I know I broke your heart but let me make it up to you" he rose the roses "Savannah White will you give me another chance and go on a date with me?"

She smiled and nodded "Great let's go" I said

"Wait let me go change"

"You look fine" I said and she looked down at her flannel pajama bottoms and hoodie and rose an eyebrow at me "Fine go change" I laughed and she ran upstairs

"You look as beautiful as always" I said when I saw her

"Thank you" she slightly blushed and I was glad to know I still had that effect on her

"Come on princess" I said taking her hand feeling the sparks I've missed for four days

Once we get out to the car I opened her door for her and she gave me a small peck on the cheek

"So where are we going this time?" she asked excitedly and I chuckled

"Do you really think I'm gonna tell you?" I asked and she huffed in annoyance

"Thank you" I blurted and she looked at me genuinely confused

"For what?"

"For agreeing to give me a chance" I paused for a second "I don't think I have said this yet but I'm sorry, I do trust you and I let my anger for Max get the best of and that was not fair on your part. Not to mention today in class"

"Nate... It's fine" I could here the small part of hurt in her voice

I took her hand in mine "It's not but I gonna work my damndest until it is"

After that the car ride was silent, I never let go of Savannah's hand, I drew small circles with my thumb on her palm making her gave me another small smile. Finally we arrived, it was a spot that I had found a while ago that you can see the whole city from.

"Oh my god Nate, this is beautiful"

"Follow me" I pulled her out of the car

"Woah" was all she said. I turned her around to face me

"Look it's okay if you say no I was just wondering if I could kiss you. I mean it's okay if you say no and-" I was cut off by her placing her lips to mine. These lips I've been craving for four days now, these lips I will never get tired of and hope to kiss these lips for as long as I live.

"I missed you" she murmured against my lips "So, so much"

"Never again" I promised "I hate losing you"

She pulled away and I rested my forehead on hers

"Does this mean you will still come with me to Paris" I gave her my famous smile

"Hmm I don't know" she smirk "The city of love and we're not a couple. Might not be the best mix"

I gave her a questioning look and she giggled

"You never asked me to be your girlfriend again" she seemed a little shy at the end

"Right" I let out a nervous chuckle and could feel my face heat up "Savannah will you please be my girlfriend again?"

"Um no thanks" she looked down and I felt anger and sadness come up

"What?! Savannah you-u were the o-one who suggested it in the first place!"

She giggled "I was kidding. Of course I'll be your girlfriend and I would love to go to Paris with you, you big idiot. Wait what was up between you and Max?"

"I've always played soccer against him, since we were little. I got better and went to travel and become one of the best around and he was doing the same. Then one day he got injured, the doctors said he would never be able to play pro soccer again due to injuring himself more and potentially putting him in a wheelchair. He hated me after that, that I got to keep living the dream we both shared and that's what happened between us"

She nodded and rested her head on my shoulder. Life was finally back in order.

"So will you come home now?" Savannah asked on our way back

"Sure princess" I smiled but faltered when I thought "Savannah, how have your nightmares been?"

"Oh uh fine" she said quietly

"Let's try again"

"Well it's hard to have nightmares when you're basically not getting any sleep"

"You haven't been sleeping?"

"Most nights I was uh... I was crying until late and then when I did try to sleep it felt weird not having you beside me so I would toss and turn all night"

"Savannah...."

"Hey it's fine" she gave me a small smile

After that the car ride was silent. Until I got an idea. I smirked at her and turned up the radio.

"What are you doing?" she asked

"If we go down then we go down together

We'll get away with everything

Out on the terrace-"

"Oh my god!" she cut me off laughing "you're worse than I am!"

"What?" I placed a hand over my heart "I am not!"

"No Nate, that was honestly like the worst singing I've ever heard and I've heard Brooke sing" she said still laughing

"Come on we're here" I grumbled

"Aww did I hurt Nathaniel's feelings" she pinched my cheeks

"No" I pouted

She bumped my shoulder with hers "Come on you big baby" she got out of the car and I quickly followed, she stopped out front of the door waiting for me

"Why are you waiting for me out here?" I asked

"Well I thought we could finish off our second first date properly"

"What do you mean?" I asked jokingly

"Never mind" she went to go in the door thinking I was serious

"No wait" I grabbed her hand spinning her around to crash into my chest and before she could say anything I pressed my lips to hers.
