《Forbidden Desire. | ✓》(12) The Other Woman.

Sahara has stayed in her room since the events at the dinning hall, she didn't plan on coming out until she knew Damian was out of the house. She ringed up the kitchen on the intercom and Jen let her know that Damian had just left.

"Are you alright, love?" Kat asks Sahara, she overheard the whole ordeal and was the one who sent over the servers in order to interrupt the fight.

Sahara gives her a weak smile, "Yes, I'm fine. Thank you for asking."

"You know he isn't as bad of a person as he makes it look like," Jen continues, "He might sound like he doesn't give a damn about anything but he's a good person underneath all that."

"She's right, you know." Kat says as she dries the dishes. "He's a good lad. He just has some personal issues he's been dealing with for most of his life."

Sahara sits on the kitchen counter, eating her toast, "I don't know, the way he lashes out for no apparent reason, I don't know if I can handle that." And then she whispers, mostly to her self, "I'm kind of scared of him."

Kat caresses Sahara's head, "Give him a chance, dear. There is a chance the Lord will show you happiness through him."

The ladies continue to chit chat away as they Sebastian comes in to announce that there's a guest who has arrived.

"Sebastian! I'm no guest!" says the tall thin female. "Hi Katherine and Jennifer! How are you two ladies doing?"

Kat and Jen awkwardly give her a smile and slightly bow at her to show respect.

At first Sahara sort of wanted to look away as the woman is wearing a crop top that is basically revealing her under-boob and joggers. Besides her revealing outfit, Sahara couldn't ignore the fact that this woman is gorgeous. Her silky soft-looking brown hair grazing against her shoulders. She had curves in all the right places, her skin glowing, her face slim and flawless. Just looking at her made Sahara want to go hide in a room out of the self-consciousness she feels.

"Who's this beautiful lady?" the woman asks about Sahara.

Kat replies, "This is Sir's wife."

"Wife??? He got married and he didn't even tell me???" Her tone has genuine shock, "I'm so sorry, where are my manners. My name's Elizabeth Carter. I'm... err... Damian's friend." she seems to have hesitated when mentioning her affiliation with Damian, which Sahara took notice in.

Sahara also notices her accent is North American, just like her own. "Hi, I'm Sahara." she shook hands with Elizabeth. All Sahara could think was, one wrong move and Elizabeth's shirt will expose more than her under-boob and she did not want to see any of it.

"You two sit and talk. We'll get back to work." says Kat.

The two girls nod.

"What a beautiful name! Like the Sahara Desert!" Elizabeth says.

"Thank you." Sahara replies, shyly.

"Wait, your accent! You're American too?"

Sahara shakes her head, "Canadian."

"Oh, damn... I'm sorry Canada always come second to mind. I'm an LA child." Elizabeth scratches her head. "Soooo... How did you two meet? I never thought he'd marry and settle down. Especially marry someone who's not white."

Sahara blinks at her not knowing what to say to that.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean it in any offence, I swear. It's just that Damian usually goes for women who have their tits and ass hanging out. And you're so modest and innocent looking, I didn't expect that..."

"Oh..." is all Sahara managed to say.

"I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to make this so awkward for you. Anyways, moving on, what are you doing in England? Or did you recently move here after marrying Damian? What's the tea?"

Sahara is more than happy to talk about anything else. She tells her how long she's been here, about her studies, etcetera. Their conversation is cut short when they hear Damian's voice.

"Sebastian! I need my coffee!" Damian orders as he makes his way to the kitchen.

Sahara looks over at the clock on the wall, but it's only 2 PM...

He stops in his tracks as he notices Elizabeth and Sahara together, "Eli, what are you doing here?"

"I don't know, I came by to visit, like I always do, I guess?" She says. "And also found out that you're married and didn't tell me?"

"This marriage isn't real anyways, does it matter if I tell you or not?" Damian says as he makes his way to Elizabeth.

Elizabeth stands up with her arms crisscrossed her chest, waiting for him to explain why he didn't inform her of the wedding but he does the unexpected, shocking everyone. He pulls her closer and kisses her. Elizabeth tries pushing him away but he slips his hand through crop top, grabbing at her breasts, making her moan without control.

Sahara draws in a sharp breath, not being able to watch the events unfolding in front of her. She doesn't know why she would expect Damian to cut off any illicit relationships he has. It hurts her on the inside that Damian didn't have a single shred of respect for their relationship.

"Please, e-excuse m-m-me." Sahara stutters through her words, as her legs become too weak to be able to carry her. She couldn't stand watching her husband grope other women in front of her. It's too cruel.

"Wait! Sahara! I'm sorry! It wasn't me-" Elizabeth tries to stop her but Sahara didn't turn back around.

Sahara ran as far as her feet could take her, not realizing she made it outside and almost slipped into the pool. She walks towards the patio area and sits down.

"I'm going to miss Zuhr & Asr (afternoon prayers) because of him." Sahara says to herself as she wipes the tears she didn't realize were forming.

She notices the carpet looks like it has been recently cleaned so she decided to pull out her phone to use the Qibla app to figure out which way is the Qibla (the direction of the Kaaba [the sacred building at Mecca], to which Muslims turn at prayer).

As she makes her way to Sujud during her prayer, she prays to Allah:

My life as a married woman to such a man is leading to no happiness, I don't know what to do, I need You to guide me, Allah. I need You to help me find my serenity in this relationship. I'm so close to breaking down into a million pieces. Please guide me on the right path.

Kat, Jen, and Sebastian were outside, watching the clear desperation visible in Sahara's stance. They all hoped and prayed that this wonderful girl is granted whatever she is wishing for. They wished for the pair to put aside their differences and live in harmony because they truly thought Sahara would bring the better out of Damian.

"Can she even afford any of this?"

"Do you think she's carrying a bomb?"

"Should we bring security inside the store, just in case?"

"Do you think she's a terrorist?"
