Stormi's pov
I sat in the dark room for what felt like a life time before my mother finally came in with a tray of food and water.
I roll my eyes as she enters the room.
"I want to see Kaden!" I demand as she turns on the light.
I cover my eyes and rub them as they burn from the light.
After several minutes and constant blinking, they finally get adjusted to the light.
"There is no Kaden."
I couldn't help but laugh. "I don't believe that. There's absolutely no way you manage to get to Kaden."
Absolutely no way.
Kaden is strong. He's handle people way worse than my parents before. There's absolutely no way they got to him.
"You're right. We didn't get to Kaden but importantly, he came to us."
My heart sank a little as those words came on out.
He came to us.
He came to us?
HE WENT TO THEM?!
"Where is he now?"
She smiles and moves my wet hair from my face. "Let's get you cleaned up and fed. This is small because there will be a dinner for you tonight."
I shake my head and back away from here.
"Not until I see Kaden!" I demand as the tears begin to fall.
"Please don't cry baby. We just got you back. Aren't you happy to see us?"
I stare into her hazel eyes.
"Maybe if you would of came years ago. Maybe if you wouldn't of killed my baby. Maybe if you would----" I'm cut off when she speaks.
"Killed your baby?"
I nod. "I was pregnant but Manny kept giving me drugs and killed my son."
"Oh dear." She whispers to herself holding back her tears.
"Oh dear?" I mock.
"I had no idea. I'm so sorry Storm."
"Of course you don't have any idea! You've been out of my life since I was 6!" I scream.
I stand up and walk towards her. I hold my stomach.
Though I don't know forsure but suspect since we haven't used a condom.
"I'm pregnant again mommy. You're going to be a granny." I smile.
I watch her eyes light up as she looks down at my stomach.
A small smile comes across her face before it quickly disappears.
"You can't be pregnant! Not with a Hernandez baby! We have to get rid of it before anyone finds out!" She says storming out of the room.
I bang on the door repeatedly.
Screaming for them to open the door and begging for them not to keep me in here.
After awhile, I stopped. My knuckles were bleeding and they were throbbing.
I slid to the floor and prayed, I prayed harder than I ever have that somehow Kaden would be alive and come find me.

You was stupid again Stormi.
First time you ran away, your baby died, you got addicted to heroin, and almost died.
This time, I'll probably lose my baby again if I'm pregnant, Kaden probably died or will be, and I'll be next.
Fuck!
I did this to save anyone but Kaden runs right into the arms of it.
I did this to save him!
"I'll always protect you no matter what it cost!" Kadens words.
They repeat over and over in my head.
At all cost. He promised.
To protect me and his child, he'll definitely allow himself to die to protect us....me.
But who will we be without Kaden.
I don't even know if I'm pregnant.
If I am, they are just going to kill it too.
I hold my stomach and pretend there is one. To protect my sanity.
"Daddy and I will protect you baby. At all cost."
I start to take off my shoes and my fingers run across the metal ankle bracelet Kaden got me when I was in the hospital.
He made me promise to never take it off.
I unhook it and stare at it.
It's a plain gold bracelet, nothing fancy.
Wait!
As I look over the bracelet, I see a little diamond in the circle in the word love.
Unless you are looking closely like I am, you wouldn't see if otherwise.
I try to take it off but it doesn't come off.
I push on it and it starts to flash.
It's so small you can barely see it.
What the fuck does this do?
I click it again but it doesn't stop flashing.
"What is it Kaden?" I whisper to myself.
I lay on the floor and look at it.

I wake up to the sound of the door opening.
My mom walks in with clean clothes, a pregnancy test and some water.
"Drink this." She says handing it to me.
I take a few huge drinks before standing up.
"Can I please see Kaden?" I beg her.
She shakes her head. "Ask your dad."
I look around and see my dad at the doorframe.
"Please let me see Kaden daddy!" I say in my child voice. I walk up to him and give him the biggest hug I ever could give and a kiss on the cheek.
"Please daddy. For five minutes."
He hugs me back before moving back. He moves the hair out of my face before kissing my forehead.
"Thats fine sweetie. Just take the test before I take you to see him."
I thank him by giving him another hug.
My mom leads me to the bathroom next to the room I'm in and has me pee on the stick.

"Can you please turn around?" I ask her as she watches me sit on the toilet.
She nods and turns around.
I pee on the stick before wiping and washing my hands.
I sit on the edge of the bathtub as we wait for the results.
"Why did you and dad leave me? Why didn't you allow me to go with you?" I ask looking towards the ground.
"We will explain everything tonight at dinner. But I can tell you that it was the hardest decision we ever made."
She walks up to me and gives me a hug. "We love you with all of our hearts. We never would allow anyone to hurt you."
"Can you please tell me what's going on?"
She pulls away and walks to the counter.
"Everything will be explained tonight. I promise."
We sit in silence for a few minutes until she grabs the pregnancy test.
She shakes her head and shows me.
"You are pregnant." She whispers.
I bite on my bottom lip to hide my smile. My arms instantly go to cover my stomach.
I'm pregnant.
Were pregnant.
We're having a baby.
And this time, I won't allow anyone to ruin that for me.
"Don't get to excited. The doctor will be here tomorrow to abort it." My mom says walking out of the bathroom leaving me alone.
My dad walks in and smiles.
I smile back and grab his hand.
We walk all the way down the stairs, through the halls until we reach a set of stairs bringing us to the basement.
The basement looks exactly like Kadens torture room.
We reach door 12 and when my dad opens the door, I see Kaden tied up hanging from the ceiling.
He's beaten up very badly and blood is dripping down his face.
"Five minutes." My dad says.
I quickly thank him before running to Kaden.
I grab his face and look at him.
"Baby!" I repeat several times until he opens his eyes.
He smiles at me. "You're alive."
He gives me a quick kiss on the lips.
I fight away the tears. "I'm going to save you. I'm going to get you out!"
I start to untie the ropes from his wrist but he fights me.
"No! No! If you try to save me, they will kill you! I rather die than you!"
"Without you, there's no me. There's no us!" I tell him.
I look down at my stomach before cupping his face again.
"You have to fight. You have to fight for us!"
He looks down at my stomach. "Us?"
I chuckles as the tears fall down my face.
"Us. We're pregnant!"
He gives me a small smile.
"Romeo will come. He'll send help. I sent them the location before I came here. On your ankle bracelet, there's a----"
"I found it. I pushed it baby. I'm so sorry! I wanted to save everyone else from dying. I knew you'd save me. Why did you give yourself up?"
"To keep you from dying. I'd do anything to keep you alive even sacrifice myself. You weren't going to go through what you went through again. I'm not worth it."
I kiss him again. "You're worth it! I'm going to get you out of this. Tonight when they are asleep, I'll sneak down and get you."
"Try to get to a phone and call Romeo. If he doesn't answer, call my dad."
I told him I would just as the door opened.
I look towards my dad. "Five minutes is up."
"I'll be back." I whispered my promise to Kaden as I kiss him once more.
"I love you so much Princessa." Kadens voice makes me cry harder.
The way he said that sounded like I'll never hear those words again.
"I love you so much baby!" I say back as my dad pulls me away from him.
"Don't grab her!" Kaden screams.
My dad pushes me towards the door causing me to fall to the ground.
I watch him punch Kaden two times before picking me up off the ground and dragging me out of the room.
He shuts and locks the door before dragging me upstairs.
"Please, please don't kill him. I'll do anything! Just don't kill Kaden!"
My dad stares at me and wipes the blood off of his hands onto his pants.
"He chose this. He chose to take over the family business that destroyed ours. It's either us or him."
"There has to be another way!"
I beg my dad and he stares at me.
"I have two choices. One, kill Kaden and our family is be protected forever but I'll lose you for good. Or two, keep Kaden alive and watch our family die."
"Daddy! Kaden won't hurt us! If you let us go, I promise you he won't hurt us. Please don't do this!"
"Sweetie, it's not our decision." He says when we walk into the room I was in earlier.
"There has to be a way." I tell him.
"There isn't. I'm sorry! When your uncle gets here on Friday, Kaden will die along with his family."
"What's today?" I ask.
"Wednesday." He says shutting the door in my face.
I fall to the floor crying.
I have to find a way to save my baby and Kaden.
But how?
Think Stormi. Think.
How can I save the three of us?
