"Hey, wake up we're leaving." I heard a familiar voice say.
I groaned and stirred against the soft mattress I was laying on. "Five more minutes." I sighed letting myself fall asleep again.
"No, hurry up and wake up." Leo yelled jumping on the bed and jumping on it making me rise with every jump. I groaned and rolled over only for me to fall of the bed. My shoulder was immediately engulfed with pain.
"Ow! Fuck sakes, I'm up." I stood up yawning, rubbing my shoulder. I stared at Leo and furrowed my eyebrows confused. "What hour is it?"
He flopped on the bed and turned his head to me. His blue eyes liked tired and droopy and with the dark underage that accompanied them.
"Its probably 2 am or so." He replied sitting up. "The others are in the car waiting for us."
I nodded but I immediately remembered something. "Uh, do you have an extra toothbrush and clothes?" I asked. I've been wearing the same sweatpants and hoodie for four days now and I probably stank. He nodded and smiled going to his closet. He took out a pair of sweats and a t-shirt that probably would fit too big on me.
"Are these yours?" I asked taking them from his hands as he gave them to me.
He rubbed his neck as a small smile formed on my lips. "Y-yeah their mine. We just don't have women's clothes here but there will be in our base. Lincoln bought some for you and sent them to where we'll be staying."
"Oh...ok. It's fine."
I walked towards the bathroom that was connected to their room and I changed into his sweats and t-shirt. The sweatpants were a little bit big on me but I managed because I tied the string tight to my waist.

"I forgot to tell you that the toothbrush is under the cabinet!" I heard Leo's voice yell behind the door. I smiled and shook my head grabbing the toothbrush and brushing my teeth.

I sat down in the seats in the back with Leo, Valentino was going to drive while Kai sat in the passenger seat.
We were soon on our way to the supposed base. The city turned into woods and the only view I could see were trees and dirt. It was earily quiet and uncomfortable.
About two hours have passed in silence and I thank the heavens that Leo cleared his throat gaining our attentions.
"Since Athena will be working with us, don't you guys think we should get to know her?" Leo asked scooting over to space in between the front seats.
I pressed my lips together and looked out the window. I didn't want them to know me, we're just going to work together and when everything done I'll hopefully be gone.
"No, I think we should not." Valentino rudely responded. Leo groaned throwing this head back and shook his head.
"But come on, we'll be with each other for at least six months. We might as-"
"Six months?!" I yelled with my eyes that we're now wide as they could get. "I can't be here six months! What about my college and my life!"
"This is your life now." Valentino growled tightening his hands on the steering wheel. His knuckles were turning white and I decided if I should shut up or not.
"But what about college! If I miss six months I'll probably repeat the whole fucking year."
"Shut up." Valentino ordered making me raise my eyebrows.
"No I wo-"
"I will throw you out this fucking car. quindi ascoltami."
"Yes please, anything to be far away from you." I scoffed. He suddenly hit the breaks making me yelp and go flying to the front. My head hit the back of his seat. I rubbed my head and looked at him, I kicked his seat annoyed.

"What the fuck is wrong with you?!" I growled clenching my fist.
"A lot of things." He bluntly responded hitting the pedal.
I opened my mouth to answer but Leo cut me off, "Anyways, Let's all get to know Athena." Leo said changing the subject.
I sighed and looked out the window. "Whats your favorite color?"
"Blue." I responded.
"What's your favorite sport?"
"I don't do sports but if hand-to-hand combat is considered a sport then that's it."
This continued on for two hours and by now Leo probably knew everything about me which I was not fond of. Throughout those two slow passing ours, I almost vomited by talking to much. Kai slept throughout the drive since the start and Valentino hasn't muttered a word but he threw glances at us every once in a while threw the rear mirror.
Valentino slowed down the car and we came across this opening in the wood, we were in the middle of nowhere but they probably knew where they were going. The car jumped and Valentino had to halt the car several times as the path was filled with rocks and big twigs.
We arrived to this huge, luscious house. The house was painted in a black and white theme making it look more rich.
"We're here." Valentino said getting out of the car not waiting for us.
Leo quickly opened the door and got out, leaving it open for me to close. I got out and closed the door the way out but then I remembered nobody woke up Kai. I tapped his window but still no response. I tapped louder with my fist and then the door suddenly opened hitting me hard in my legs.
"Fuck!" I yelped stumbling backwards.
I looked up and a tired Kai walked out the car, he glanced at me confused and tilted his head. I stared at him and he reached out a hand and I gladly took it.
"Thanks." I said.
He didn't answer but instead he walked forward ignoring me. Rude. I was still outside and it was probably five in the morning. Birds were chirping and the sunset was arriving making the sky have a pretty hue of purple and orange. I stopped my admiration and walked inside the house when I realized I was the only one outside.
No houses were nearby this house.
I walked further into the house arriving to the living room and was met with a grand staircase that had a black carpet trailing along each step but what made me half in my steps was a short woman who looked like she was 19 through 21. Her hair was brown and was shortly cut to her neck and she had curtain bangs that laid messily on the side of her face.
The three of them froze and stared at her in shock and their skin had turned pale but the one who seemed the most affected was Valentino. I turned to look at him, his jaw was clenching hard as he stared at her in a unique way but also sadness swirled in his eyes.
She was midway going down the stairs but when she heard our steps she looked up. Her face dropped but then it was replaced with shock then happiness. A smirk formed on her lips as she trailed her eyes on the three of them but when her eyes landed on me her smirk faltered but It was back as it went away.
She slowly walked down the stairs as she widened her arms in a welcoming embrace.
"Missed me?"
