Everyone became totally numb after Mr. Saxena's suggestion.

"What are you saying Mr. Saxena".... Kajal's father lash on him.

Mr. Saxena scanned the whole room and went towards Mrs. Mathur. He said, " Bachho ko kamre se bahar bhejiye... Mujhe aap dono se ek zaruri baat kehni hai"

Mrs. Mathur nodded towards karan and he took his sister and Kajal outside.

Mr. Saxena sat on the couch and lit his cigar. He asked Mr. Mathur to sit beside him and he started.

Mr. Saxena said, "Try to understand this situation very practically Mr. Mathur..... Your and mine...both of ours Reputation, business and image is on take....

And I don't need to make you memorise your main problem for which you've made all arrangements of wedding so quickly.....

This is the only way to get rid of all problems by just one go"

Mr. Mathur was lost for a second but then he regain his sense and said, "I can't sacrifice my doll for my problems....

During all this conversation Mrs. Saxena was lost in thinking something.

" Sacrifice.... We are not gonna slaughter your daughter... But in real she'll thanking her stars as she's getting a great groom so easily ".... Mr. Saxena said with a snigger.

" But she's only......

"We are ready"..... Said Mrs.Mathur before her husband could complete his line.

Mr. Mathur went towards her and said, " What's wrong with you Meera... Are you in your senses??

"Then what do you want me to do....all the guests and relatives are outside ,they knew it's our daughter's wedding.....but if they got to know that the bride escaped.....than what will happen......

Nobody will marry Kajal in future..... Her life will be destroyed without her fault".... Mrs. Mathur said shouting.

" But Meera our kajal is too young to get married.... She has her whole life"... Said Mr. Mathur worriedly

"And you???.... Mrs. Mathur asked him with narrow eyes.

Mr. Mathur turned his back and said, " Whatever it is..... I can't make my daughter suffer because of me"

Mrs. Mathur came in front of him and kept his hand on her head. She said, "You've my swear...... You'll ask kajal to marry Raj..... If not then you'll see my dead face"

Mr. Mathur got numb on her words. As she didn't left him a choice.

"If she refuse you'll say the same to her. I know that she'll deny but... It's for her good only,I'm calling her in....said Mrs. Mathur and went out of the room leaving a stoned Mr. Mathur behind.

And Mr. And Mrs. Saxena......., as expected... They don't give a damn to this all melodrama.

Kajal, karan and Kavya were in the adjustcent room.

Kajal was sitting on the edge of bed and karan was roaming in tension.

"How could he say this yaar.... Is it a substitute or exchange offer".... Karan said irritatingly.

Kajal was grinding her teeth in anger and frustation. Suddenly the door opened and Mrs. Mathur came inside.

The moment Kajal saw her mother she hugged her tightly.

" Mummy.... Why all this is happening... Mummy why did Di...do that??.... She asked her mother sobbing by now.

Mrs. Mathur pulled out of the hug and wipe her tears. She said, "Kajal ....dont cry.... Come with me.

She took Kajal with her.

When Mrs. Mathur make her sit in the bed of the other room. Mrs. Saxena came with a bridal joda and keep it in Kajal's hands.

" Get ready fast..Raj is waiting in mandup........ We don't have our whole life to spend on this idiotic shit".... She said in a bored tone and went out.

Kajal turned towards her mother with a shocking frown.

Mrs. Mathur kept the joda aside and hold her both hands and said, "doll.... Please marry Raj ,Your sister betrayed everyone and ran like a coward.. We dont have any other way to save our reputation now"

Kajal got shocked and said, "but mummy... I'm just 19.....my college, my studies, my life.... Everything will finish"

"Nothing will finish doll. Raj is a gem of a person that's why we selected him for our daughter. He'll never stop you for anything and always support you and keep you happy".... Mrs. Mathur tried to make her understand.

Kajal sighed and said, " Leave about me mummy. At least think about Raj..i don't even know him properly...

I'll not marry him... That's final"...

"You've to marry him and that's final"..... A voice echoed in the room.

Kajal turned around and saw it was her father with a blank face.

" Kajal went towards him and said, "Papa.... I'll not marry him... And you can't force me.. I'm an adult now".. She declared clearly.

Mr. Mathur turned his face towards the window and said, "agar tumne yeh shaadi nahin ki... To aaj se hum tumhare lie aur tum hamare lie marr gayi... Samjhi"

(If you disagreed to marry than from today... You for us.. And we for you are dead)

"Papa..... Kajal whispered and stumbled on her steps back.

" Make her ready...the guests are waiting outside "..... Mr. Mathur said and immediately left the room leaving his shattered doll behind.

Kajal came outside with her mother. Looking extremely beautiful like a bridal doll...... But a lifeless one.

She sat beside Raj , he never looked at her for once.

The wedding rituals started. Both Raj and Kajal are performing the wedding rituals like robots.

At last Raj filled her head partition with sindoor.

A lone tear escaped her left eye when he filled her head partition.
