"Daddy daddy!!" My daughter called me from her room. The sweetest voice ever.

I ran to her room to look what happened and I found her sitting on her bed knees curled up to her stomach. She wore a baby pink colour dress, with matching shoes and hair-belt. She sat there scared, but of what?

"What happened Eve?" I sat next to her and took her in my lap.

"I saw a very big incy wincy spider. He will eat me now right?" My six year old daughter asked.

Yes six years passed since the birth of our angel. She is literally the best thing happened to me and Scarlet. Evelyn for you is beautiful, funny, smart and very caring.

"Sweetie, he won't eat you. And it's just a small spider. You are a big girl, aren't you? You have turned 6 today. You are my brave daughter." I smiled at her with a hint of playfulness.

"Yes daddy, I'm a big girl. I won't be scared of that spider." She smiled at me.

"Good girl. Come on lets get going downstairs. Your mom must me waiting for us. Everybody is waiting for the birthday girl." I cheered her up.

"Yes lets go daddy. I want to meet Daniel. He is also birthday boy." She smiled ear to ear.

"Yeah yeah. His birthday is also today." I muttered.

Daniel is Ariel and Xander's son. He was born on the same day as Evelyn. He is a pretty good looking kid. He is good with Eve too. But she adores him so much that I hate it. They have been best of friends since they started going to daycare.

"Happy birthday sweetie." Scarlet picked up Evelyn as we reached the garden where party was going on.

"Thanks momma. I love you." Evelyn said.

"I love you too. I'm sorry I wasn't with you since you woke up, but I had to be here to see everything goes well."

"It's okay momma. Daddy and I had so much fun bathing. We even played with bubbles."

"Alrighty then. Seems no one missed me."

Scarlet fake pouted.

"I missed you momma. And daddy too."

"Of course you did sweetie. Now go and find Daniel. He is been waiting for you."

"Okay." And there went Eve running!

"So did you miss me?" Scarlet asked my while placing her hand on my chest. I pulled her against my body. I placed kisses all over her neck, jawline.

"I will tell you how much I missed you tonight after the party Mrs. Romano." I whispered huskily in her ears.

"Okay okay. L-lets get to the party. Xander has been looking for you." She coughed and broke apart.

"Still shy after six years, I see?" I smirked.

"Wait for tonight handsome!" She winked at me and went to the party.

"God, how much this turned me on!" I spoke to none in particular.

After the cake cutting, Scarlet, Xander, Ariel and I were sitting at a table. Other guests were enjoying there food, and kids were busy playing there games.

Suddenly, Eve came running towards us grinning.

"Look daddy, momma, Daniel gave me a unicorn toy." She said completely happy.

I was happy seeing her happy.

"That's great Eve. Did you say thank you to Daniel?" Scarlet asked.

"Yes I did. Here he comes." Daniel appeared and stood beside Evelyn.

"Well done buddy. I didn't know you brought this gift for Eve." Xander said.

What the heck! He didn't know.

"Yeah daddy, I bought it with my pocket money."

"Thank you Daniel." Evelyn said very sweetly to my opinion to him.

Everything was going pretty fine when the little boy whom Evelyn adores tilted forward and gave Eve a FREAKING KISS!!

"What the -" Scarlet kept her hands on my thigh to stop me. I gave my most annoyed look to my wife. What is she thinking when she is stopping me right now?

"Wow, you're brave son!" Xander patted his sons back.

How I wish I could punch Xander for praising his son when he did was completely wrong!

"Why did you stop me?" I asked Scarlet in a tone no one could hear.

"Relax Xavier, it was just a peck. They both are children. They won't even remember when they grow up."

"And what if they remember?" I ask doubtfully.

"Well, then we we think about them. We will talk to them. And come on Daniel is not nobody. He is your best friend's son."

"Our little daughter Eve just had her first kiss in front of my eye. I just can't believe that."

"Relax okay? You're over reacting!" Scarlet was now annoyed.

I just ignored her and called Eve towards me.

"Eve, come here dear!"

"Yes daddy. What happened?"

"Come I will give you your gift!!" I extended my hands and she put her tiny hands in my huge ones.

"Yayy daddy."

"Evelyn was so happy today." I smiled, removing my earing.

"Yes she was. I'm glad she enjoyed her day. I wish everyday was her birthday so we could give her gifts and happiness everyday." Xavier said from bed.

"Xavier!! You are impossible. If she would celebrate her birthday everyday then do you think she will be happy and excited on her actual birthday? Birthday are celebrated once in a year to keep up the excitement for that one special day." I turned around and said to him.

"Why do you have to be always right?" He pouted.

"Because wife is always right Mr. Husband."

Xavier stared at me. I came and sat opposite to him. He always looked at me like this when he had something in his mind.

"What huh?" I asked.

"I have a gift for you my love." He gave his smile which I fell for.

"For me? But why? Today was our daughter's birthday not mine."

"But without you she wouldn't be here. So here is a gift for you." He handed me a bag.

I opened the bag and found a diary in there. The one and only diary I wanted.

"Oh my god Xavier! This is the one I wanted. How did you get it? They said they stopped manufacturing it." I said looking at him dumbfold.

"I did something." He scratched his neck and looked down.

"No you didn't!!!" I widened my eyes as I had a idea of what I did.

"Well, for one time it's okay. And it was for you sweetheart. It had to be special!"

"You can't order a freaking company to manufacture a single diary just for your wife." I said shocked.

"I can and I will." He folded his hand to his chest.

"This is time its okay. I loved the gift. Thank you Xav." I sat on his lap.

"You're most welcome Mrs. Romano." He rubbed his nose with mine.

"What do you want as a return gift?" I asked kissing his jaw.

"Ahaa, now you're on the right track." He kissed my earlobe.

"I want this." He kissed my jaw. "I want this." He kissed my cheek. "I want this." He kissed the tip of my nose. "I want this." He kissed my forehead. "And I want this." He finally kissed on my lips.

We kissed for sometime. In each other's arms, feeling each other's presence.

"I love you Scarlet."

"And I, you." I said pulling him to me for a kiss.
