I feel so sad for Xavier. He has gone through a lot. How will you feel when your own parents are killed in front of you.

Man, that hurts.

But I am gonna be there for him.

I remember when my orphanage lady told me that my parents weren't dead. They are alive but they didn't want me. So they gave me in an orphanage center. I felt so hurt by that. Why would my own parents dont want me?

Anyways I am past that stage of hurt now.

But Xavier he showed me whole opposite side of him. He was so loving, caring. You wouldn't know that this man can behave rude too.

And I am glad that we went on a date today.

I woke up pretty early today. There was time for Xavier to wake. So I decided to make some heavy breakfast. Yes I can cook 24/7.

I made some butter pancakes, boiled eggs, and bagel. Yes I managed to make all of it. I know, I am talented!

Xavier comes down at the table all dressed up in usual suit. But he looks in hurry.

"Good morning Xav." I said cheerily.

"Morning Scarlet." He kisses my cheek.

"You're in rush?" Hoping he says no.

"Yes. There is this big deal which I have to seize. And today is the day. Sorry but I am really in rush. Will meet you tonight." He pecks my forehead and leaves.

"But I made huge breakfast for you." He wasnt there to listen.

Why did I make all this? To hear I am in rush?! I made it with so much effort but he didnt even stay to listen.

Jerk!

I ate little bit of my huge breakfast and decided to give the rest to needy ones on the way to diner.

Oh my god! What a day. But I am grateful I could crack that deal with the drug lord. He is one of the biggest dealer in America. And he is a good one. Not the evil type.

When I reached home, Scarlet wasn't there yet. Today morning I was so much in rush that we didn't even talk properly.

I freshened up and wore my track pants. I was headed downstairs when I heard Scarlet's room door opened and then closed. She came but didnt come to my room?! What happened to her?

Today was a bad day. My mood was spoiled the whole day because of that jerk. Yesterday night he told me that he likes me and today morning he acts like a total jerk. Ugh. And fun fact I also told him that I like him.

I took a long bath, wore my f.r.i.e.n.d.s crop top and pinky shorts. I headed to the kitchen. As much as I am mad at him, I have to cook for him. He is still my boss.

When I reached kitchen, Xavier was already sitting at dinning table shirtless as if waiting for me.

Why does he have to be shirtless?

Now I have to focus more on cooking than usual.

I decided to talk minimal to him.

"Hey." He said.

"Hey." I didn't look at him.

"Um, you didn't tell me when you came?"

"Yeah. Little tired today."

I started taking out ingredients for making meat balls and spaghetti.

"Oh, long day huh?" I could see he was struggling to keep up the conversation.

"Yeah."

"Me too." He said.

"I am making meat balls and spaghetti. Is that okay with you?" I asked. Well, I had to.

"Sure." He shrugged.

I started my work. And as my usual habbit I turned on the music.

He was still sitting there but he didn't speak anything. I guess he was taking some idea what to speak. Because I am sure I sounded little weird earlier.

But the jerk decided to watch some tv and went to living room.

How rude!

Can't he speak to me? Ask me whats the matter?! I think now that he didn't get that I am mad at him.

Fine be it. I wont talk to him till he comes to me.

I cooked the dinner and went to call him.

He was surfing channels. He was definitely not watching tv.

"Dinners ready." I announced.

"Oh yeah. Lets go."

"No. You go. I am not hungry." I lied.

"What! You said you were tired and you dont want to eat now?!" He narrowed his eyes.

"I dont wish to eat now. Thats it." I lied again.

"Okay, Scarlet. Whats going on?"

"Nothing." Liar liar pants on fire. My mind said.

"Scarlet you're acting weird this evening. What is the matter?"

I did not say a word.

"Scarlet!!" He yelled.
