"Scarlet about last night I... I liked the fact that we kissed but I dont want you to be associated with me. I am dangerous. And because of me I dont want you to get hurt."

"Xavier I understand and for me also it was highly unprofessional. So will just forget what happened. Its better."

"Yeah. You're right. We will just forget."

We sat in silence for some moments. But I had to leave.

"So I will get going. I will meet you tonight."

"Yeah. Bye."

What does he think of himself? If he didnt want me to be associated with me then why the hell he kissed me? And that too not a simple kiss. But full on passionate kiss.

Now I am attracted to him.. God.

But I guess its good for both of us that we stay in our ways.

When I was in my deep thought, Maiya came and sat beside me.

"Hey you. What are you thinking?"

"Oh Maiya. Good morning."

"Good morning Scarlet. What were you thinking so deeply?"

"Oh its nothing. What would you like to have for breakfast?"

Last thing I wanted to was to talk about Xavier to Maiya.

"Something light. Its hangover girl."

"I know. You were totally wasted yesterday night."

"Yeah yeah. Actually I didnt tell you guys but yesterday when we got to the club, my friend from paris sent me a picture of the guy I was talking about with another girl kissing."

"Oh my god. Are you okay?"

"I dont know. I really thought we were going good. I called him and he said that she is his girlfriend already and he was just fooling around with me."

"Oh Maiya. You dont deserve him. You deserve someone who will know your worth sweetie."

"Thanks Scarlet." She smiled.

"So thats why so much drinking last night?"

"Yes that is pretty much. I didnt want to sob and cry for him si I decided to get wasted."

"We all have that one time. Its okay."

"Yes. Once again thanks Scarlet. And sorry. Here you were worried about something but I poked my story in it."

"Oh thats nothing."

"Are you sure?"

"Yeah. I will make you some omellete."

"That would be great."

After I served her, I went to my room to avoid any other interrogation from her. I quickly had my bath. I wore a light pink colour dress and paired it with white flats. I like to wear something comfortable when I work. I dont understand how these high fashion people work with so much sophisticated clothes.

When I came downstairs Maiya was already off to her work. So I decided to leave for my diner too.

After a tiring day at diner, I came home to find Maiya all ready to leave.

"Hey you leaving already?"

"Yes. My work got over. And I have got tons of work in Paris. So I need to rush."

"Ohh. I thought you could stay more."

We hugged each other.

"Me too. But work calls."

"I understand. So you told Xavier?"

"Yes. He is coming in 5. I will meet him and then will leave."

"Oh okay." The thought of facing Xavier made me shiver.

Just then Xavier came in. We have an eyelock. But we both just shrug it off and Xavier goes to Maiya.

"Maiya!" He hugs her tightly.

"Xavier I will miss you." She hugs him back.

"Me too. Are you okay now?"

So I guess she told him about that guy too. Obv he is her brother.

"Yes. I am fine."

"Good. Remember there are millions of fish in the sea. You deserve nothing but the best."

"I know brother. Now you promise me to come and visit to me in Paris."

"Maiya you know I cant promise this."

"Come on, I want my brother to see my house, my work place."

"Yeah I know but I dont want you to be in danger."

"Xavier please try once atleast."

"Okay okay I will see. Come on I will drop you to airport."

"Oh no. My cab is already at the door." She points at the door.

"What?! Why??"

"Yes. I will now go Xavier." Maiya said calmly.

"Fine. Give me a hug now."

They both hug each other. It is an emotional moment.

"Scarlet I will miss you too."

"Me too." We hug each other. After that she leaves.

Leaving both of us alone...
