I reached my company pretty early. I was so damn curious to know everything about Scarlet. She just amazes me. No girl or rather no one has ever rejected me on my face for anything. But she did reject me!!

As I entered my cabin, file was already on my desk. I sat down and opened the file.

Latest information: Today bank officials are coming to her diner to probably take away the ownership of her diner.

Great!! Now I have the chance. I grab my car keys. I drove as much as fast I could. And I finally reach Foodie's.

As I am about to enter, bank officials are speaking to her.

"Ms. Rivera we are sorry but we need to take this diner's ownership. You have not paid last four month installment. There are some rules of the bank!" First official said.

"Please I beg you. Cant there be any other option than this?"

"We are afraid not."

"There is one option Scarlet." Thats when I enter.

"You? What are you doing here?" She yelled.

"Thank me later. I am here to save your diner."

I grab her arm and take her to little away from bank officers. She quickly shrug my hand from hers.

"Okay whatever you are playing just stop." She says.

"Look I have a deal. You work as a personal chef for me. I will pay off your debt."

"Why are you doing this?"

"It is simple sweetheart. I want you."

"Huh?"

"As a personal chef."

"What do I need to do as your personal chef?"

"You need to cook my breakfast, lunch, dinner. Thats it."

"I can cook and give you from my diner. Why personal chef?"

"Because I say so. And you need to live with me for that."

"Are you freaking kidding me? Why the hell will I live with you?"

"Because my current chef lives too. It is part of the job."

"Oh hell am I going to live with you. You could be a mafia leader for all I know." She yells.

"Scarlet, I am the mafia leader." I give her a sweet smile.

"What?!!" She yells again.

"Calm down Scarlet. Now tell me are you willing to be my chef?"

"Ofcourse not after you tell me that you are mafia leader." she says.

"Okay I will tell those officials to seal your diner." I start moving when I hear a voice.

"Wait.!!"

"Yes?"

"You are mafia. So you do all illegal stuff. You kill people, you kidnap them, you..."

"I guess that is pretty much the definition of mafia." I said.

"So how can you guarantee you wont kill me?"

"I wont ever hurt you Scarlet." I said with utmost honesty.

"I wont ever hurt you Scarlet." He said.

Gosh! My heart skipped a beat. Though he said in a non romantic way but still.

What should I do? He is a mafia. But he will save my diner. Scarlet think!! God help me....

"Okay. I will be your chef. But can we please skip the living part?" I ask sweetly.

"No can do." He said sternly.

I sigh. "Okay fine."

"Thats good. I will tell those bank officials that I will pay off your debt."

I nodded.

As he is about to go, thing strikes my mind. I dont even know his freaking name.. How stupid am I?

"Wait." I shout.

"What now?" He asks annoyed.

"I dont know your name."

And he chuckled loudly. Imagine a big tough mafia guy smiling. Weird right?

Then he composed himself as he found me looking at him weirdly.

"I am Xavier Romano. Anything else?"

"What is your age?" I ask.

"27. Anything else madam? Looks like you are my boss." He said.

I left out chuckle, "Thats okay."

He left to tell officials.

Soon bank officials left too. And now it was just Xavier and I.

"Thank you Mr. Romano." I smiled. Though he was dangerous and all but he helped me today and he hasnt killed me till now.

"Scarlet, some time ago you were yelling and shouting at me and now you call me Mr. Romano?!" He asks.

"Now you are my boss. So I have to."

" Xavier is better. I will meet you tonight."

"What tonight?" I didnt get it.

"You are moving in with me."

"Tonight? This early?" I almost yelled.

"Yes. You can go home now. I am sure your assisstant chef can handle for a day. By night I will send my men to your house to load and all."

"Okay I guess. But your men like all with black mask, with rifles?" I ask, he is a mafia after all.

"You do watch lots of movies right?"

"I cant help it."

"Just so you know my men will be normal men with shirt and trouser not black and without guns. I have legal business too Scarlet."

"Oh okay."

"I will get going now. Meet you tonight."

I nodded and he left.

Jesus! What have I got myself into? Please help me.
