"Dead"

The word repeatedly echoed in my ears. Tear after tear dropped out from my eyes as I stared at Sagar in utter shock and disbelief. The whole room was in silence, probably waiting for my reaction. I could hear a few sobs behind me but I was too shocked to even move.

My legs then automatically started to move towards Sagar. My palms formed into two fists as I harshly turned Sagar around and grabbed his collars in anger. "Say that again...I fucking dare you" I gritted in his face.

Sagar only gave me a blank look and pushed my arms away. "You killed her" he said making me clench my jaw. "SHUT THE FUCK UP AND STOP LYING IN MY FACE " I yelled at him. He only chuckled "Gosh, you didn't believe her then, neither are you believing me now, you really didn't deserve her" he hissed at me. My legs shook as I stumbled a few steps back in shock, a sob coming out of my mouth as I fell to the ground.

"she is dead, she is dead, she is dead, she is dead"

"S-stop" I stuttered as I placed my hands over my ears, furiously shaking my head, the words whispering again and again. I closed my eyes tightly, my body shaking furiously, sweat running down my temples as the voices wouldn't stop.

"You killed her, she needed you but you left her. You are a murderer Sunny...you killed an innocent girl"

The voices spoke again. "P-please....p-please stop...p-please" I kept muttering, adding force to my hands that were over my ears. "Sunny" a voice called out but the voices inside my head were taking over. I could feel someone hugging and shaking me but I kept my eyes tightly closed.

"N-no...N-noo..S-stop....STOPPP!" I yelled as my eyes snapped open. I breathed heavily as I looked at the person shaking me. Vicky looked into my eyes with concern. "Sunny....calm down" he said. I looked at him with my bottom lip trembling. "She...he said....he said she is dead...ask him...why is he lying to me?....is he taking revenge?" I said with a shaking voice, tears not stopping once as they flowed out of my eyes.

"Revenge?....you are not even worthy of revenge, just wait and watch what God will do to all of you. She came....she came begging for help. Riya....she was fighting her life at the hospital and she urgently needed blood. Ezhil was O negative and so was Riya. She fell to her knees.....she begged, screamed yet you all turned away. You are all heartless creatures.....I hope you all rot in hell" Sagar said in disgust.

My mind went back to that day Eyshana came asking for help. I banged my fist onto the ground in anger. Why didn't I believe her?...why?.

I weakly stood up, nearly losing my balance again and looked Sagar. "S-sagar p-please....p-please tell me she is a-alive...p-please...p-please don't p-punish me in this way. Hit me...k-kill but p-please tell me she is h-here, p-please tell me she is hiding, just tell me she is a-alive...p-please" I folded my hands in front of him and begged.

I fell onto my knees holding his leg begging for him to tell me she is alive. "P-please S-sagar....p-please....j-just tell me she is a-alive"

"Did you read the letter she left you?" he asked emotionlessly. I slowly looked at him with burning eyes filled with tears. I furiously nodded my head like a child. "She....she was pregnant with my baby" I choked out causing a few gasps behind me.

"At least the child is in a safe place rather in this world that is full of evil" he said in a cold tone. I snapped my head at him with shock. My baby.....mine and Riya's baby. The thought of him or her leaving this world killed me. I looked down, hiding my face in my hands as I cried, I cried like a baby.

"H-how...h-how did it happen?...h-her death?" Farhan breathed out. "Suicide" Sagar said straight away making me freeze.

His words whispered in my ears, mocking, accusing, blaming me. "W-what?" I asked with disbelief. "You left her when she needed you the most, you left her for a whore, you left her and your unborn child to fight for themselves. I understand why she did it. She would have to live her entire life with people calling her child a bastard, calling her a mistress, a slut for having a child before marriage and being a single mother. You all-"

He pointed at all of us with so much anger while I sat there on the floor with no energy left in my body, "are murderers, I will say it again and again...YOU.ARE.ALL.MURDERERS" he spat each word out with force making me flinch.

"She would have been alive today if only...if only you would have helped her....she would have been alive if only you didn't betray her. You have all destroyed two innocent girls, you have ruined their lives. Eyshana has not just lost her parents, now she has lost her only sister, her only family. There is no one...no one in this world for her. You have taken the most important person away from her and from that I hope she never ever forgives you all" he sneered at us, tears rolling down his eyes.

"S-sagar" Sona sobbed but I just looked at the floor feeling empty. I slowly raised my hands in front of my face and flinched when I saw blood. I looked at my hands in shock. I cried as I furiously tried to wipe my bloody hands on my trousers but it was like their were stained.

"Sunny" a melodic voice whispered in my ears making me freeze. I slowly turned around only to find the room empty. No one was here, I was all alone and confused. "Vicky" I called out. "S-sagar"

I slowly stood up, my knees shaking as I looked around in fear. "Sunny" the voice spoke again making me whip my head towards the sound. "R-riya" I smiled with tears as she called out my name again. "hey" a voice whispered in my ear as I felt arms wrap around my stomach making me feel warm. I closed my eyes and smiled, taking in a deep breath as I held her hands, feeling at peace. "You are alive....you are alive...I knew it" I laughed in shock, turning around to see her beautiful face. "I knew you would come" I whispered as I cupped her cheeks. She gave me a sad smile, her eyes full of tears making my heart churn with pain.

"R-riya....r-riya....I'm s-so sorry" I held her hands and kissed them, laying my forehead over her hand. "I'm so s-sorry baby....I'm so sorry. I love you so much Riya, I really do" I said with tears as I looked at her face. I kissed her cheeks multiple times making her sniffle. "I know...I know my sorry's will not heal your pain but I'm so sorry. I was so fucking stupid, so stupid to think I didn't love you. You are my life Riya...I...I need you....you and our baby" I caressed her face while she cried into my hand.

"You are too late now Sunny....you are too late. You have caused me too much pain. You already ruined my sister, then you ruined me. Do you hate me that much Sunny?...do you hate me that much that you cheated on me?...leaving me alone. I can't forgive you Sunny no matter how much I want to. I can't come back...I just can't" she cried but I furiously shook my head, cupping her cheeks, my eyes scanning her entire face not wanting to remove her image from my mind and heart.

"No baby...please....please" I placed my forehead on her, crying heavily, my tears now falling onto her. "P-please don't do this to us...p-please. I'm sorry....I'm such a fucking jerk for doing that to you...p-please Riya...p-please don't leave me p-please. I'm sorry for what I did to you and Eyshana but p-please don't leave me. I will die Riya...I will die....p-please stay with me...I-I need you baby...I need you" I cried as I held her tightly to my chest not wanting to let her go.

"I will change Riya...for you...for you I will change, I will do whatever you want Riya. I will leave everything behind, only you, me and our baby will be together, no one else...p-lease Riya...p-please don't do this...p-please" I begged as I cried on her neck.

She placed her hands on my chest and pushed me away, my heart squeezing in pain. I looked at her with desperation, my hand reaching out for her but she kept moving away from me. Her white dress flowing in the distance making her look like an angel, my angel...my Riya.

She smiled at me with tears in her eyes, giving me a painful look. "P-please" I choked but she just kept walking backwards. "SUNNY" she suddenly shouted in pain. My eyes widened in horror as she disappeared in front of me. I ran around the white room which kept getting bigger and bigger, it was just empty. "RIYA" I yelled for her, running around like a mad man trying to find her. "SUNNYYYYY!" she screamed again making my heart race in fear.

"RIYA" I yelled out until I stopped when I saw her laying on the ground in her own blood. I stood there shocked as she painfully smiled at me, her hand reaching out to me as she laid there weak. Her wrists were slashed but she continuously smiled at me with pain. "Sunny" she whispered. I ran to her, cradling her in my arms. "No...no...NO....YOU CAN'T LEAVE...YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TOO RIYA...RIYA...PLEASE DON'T PUNISH ME LIKE THIS.....RIYA....WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?" I hugged her tightly into my chest, rocking her side to side as I shouted and cried. I cupped her cheeks, wiping her tears.

"P-please....please stay awake" I sobbed. She slowly placed her shaking red, stained hand on my cheek. I placed my palm over her hand that was on my cheek in tears. Her painful eyes then turned empty, blank, cold. "I will forever hate you Mr Edward....I curse you...I curse you that you will never be granted peace" she hissed before she fell limp in my arms.

Silence surrounded me as I just sat there with her lifeless body in my arms in shock. "Riya" I whispered wanting to hear a response. "Riya" I sang out as I looked at her cold eyes. I laughed "Hey Riya...stop pranking me...now wake up" I laughed and shook her but she didn't move. I clenched my jaw and held her harshly, shaking her furiously, "DAMN IT RIYA, WAKE UP RIGHT NOW....RIYA!" I yelled at her but she just stared at me with no emotion, her face now pale.

"Riya" I whispered as I caressed her cheek. "Ok, I get it, you are tired. I will let you sleep, but I will not spare you once you awake" I said to her in a playful manner. I placed my palm over her eyes and closed them, hugging her to my chest, placing kisses on her head repeatedly, swaying her side to side. "I love you Riya....I love you so much" I whispered in her ear as I nuzzled into her neck. I smiled, my eyes closed as I just swayed us side to side.

I then opened my eyes to look down at my beautiful angel only to find nothing there. I furiously looked around, my head whipping right and left but there was nothing. I started to panic as I stood up. "Riya....Riya this isn't funny....RIYA COME BACK....RIYA WHERE ARE YOU...I'M SORRY....I'M SORRY....RIYAAAAA!"

"RIYA" I yelled out as I jolted up. "Sunny" a voice called out as I heard a ringing sound in my ears. Someone shook me as I looked around the room, my eyes blurry. "Sunny....sunny snap out of it...Sunny come back...please Sunny" someone shook me.

I felt someone cupping my cheek, my eyesight now clear as I looked at everyone surrounding me. I looked down and realised I was in a hospital bed. "W-what happened?" I gulped. "Dude...you fainted for 3 freaking hours, you scared me to death....don't ever do that to us again" Farhan said in fear as he hugged me tight.

"R-riya" I breathed out, my heart pounding against my chest. I could feel pain...all over my body and my heart. "She is gone Sunny...s-she is g-one, I-I'm so s-sorry" Farhan broke down while I just sat there in tears not saying anything.

"I will forever hate you Mr Edward" her voice whispered in my ear
