"Don't fuck up!" Was the last thing Ben said before he hid behind a wall with Mia and Levi. Today was the day I had to ask Mindy if I could come over to her place.

Mia told me that I should try to act like I want Mindy and I getting married. That I'm actually interested in her. I can't believe that Mia was okay with this. I mean, aren't most girlfriends jealous when their boyfriend flirts with their rival?

"As long as you don't gain feelings for her, or do anything that would end up breaking my heart, then it's fine," she shrugged.

"Aw, baby you know I'd never hurt you."

She just rolled her eyes, and gave me a quick kiss before Ben pushed me towards Mindy. She was at her locker applying something on her lips.

What was it? Lips gloss? Well, whatever shit she was putting on.

Let's just get this over with.

I walked over to her with my hands in my pockets. She turned to look at me before a smile appeared on her face. Closing her locker, she leaned against it as I approached her.

"I knew you couldn't resist my charms," she purred. "Did you finally realize that I'm way better than that stupid little brat?"

I wanted to punch her fucking face for calling Mia a brat, but I can't fuck up the plan. Right now, the pressure's on me, and I didn't want to disappoint Mia by failing.

"Way better. I don't even know why I hung out with someone like her."

Saying that made me inwardly cringe.

I never thought I'd be the one bad-mouthing Mia. I know I'm just acting, but I really hope that Mia doesn't take this personally. Knowing her, I know she won't because this is just part of the plan.

She did tell me to act like I wasn't interested in her, only Mindy.

But damn it, I can't help but want to slap myself in the face for those words coming out of my mouth.

Mindy smirked, and trailed a hand down my chest. "Why don't you come over to my place?" she winked.

"I mean, we are getting married after all."

"I'll come over at seven," I informed before walking away, but she grabbed my wrist and pulled me back.

"I'll be waiting," she whispered, kissing my cheek before she left. When I saw her turn a corner, I cringed and wiped my cheek.

Mia, Ben, and Levi walked towards me.

Mia was about to say something when I pulled her into a hug.

"I didn't mean to say those things to you," I said, kissing her forehead. Mia just laughed, and said it was fine, but it wasn't fine.

Ben was slapping Levi, saying how cute we were being. Soon enough, Levi got annoyed and grabbed Ben's wrist, twisting it as Ben let out a girlish scream.

"I've been abused!" he fake cried.

After school, we all went to Mia's house until I had to head to Mindy's place. We talked about the plan that I had to follow through. First, I had to obviously make Mindy and her father think that I actually want to marry her. I also had to find out where Mr Summer's office was.

To make sure that no one comes into his office, Ben would cause some trouble in and out of the house.

"Can I break a widow?" Ben asked, his eyes sparkling at the idea. We all chuckled.

"Seriously, can I?"

Levi was in charge of hacking into the security system so that the cameras were disabled. Mia would be on the look out, and report to us if there is anything wrong.

After we all were clear on the plan, we decided to play a few board games and watched a few movies to kill the time. Ben was really the only one watching since Levi was on his phone, and I was giving shy kisses to Mia.

Ben threw a pillow at us, whining that we should stop. "I know I'm forever alone but you don't have to rub it in!"

Mia and I laughed, causing Ben to narrow his eyes towards us.

"Aww, Ben don't worry. You'll find someone," Mia assured.

Unfortunately, it was time to go. So we all got into Ben's car. Levi driving of course. Ben was a terrible driver. We don't even know how he got his driver's license with the way he drives.

To be honest, I was nervous. I just feel like I'm gonna fuck everything up, and then I'll have to marry Mindy. This was the only option I have, and I can't fuck this up for everyone. Mia seemed to notice my nervousness, and took my hand, giving it a small squeeze to comfort me.

This is one reason why I love Mia. She always knows how I was feeling, no matter how much I deny it. It's almost like she can read my mind. She has this ability to comfort others even in their most dreadful of times.

I still can't believe that someone like her would actually want to be with someone like me. I know that Mia deserves better. Someone way better than me. But I was too selfish to let her be I the arms of another man. I'd be damned if that happened.

"We're here." Levi's voice interrupted my thoughts, and I looked out the window to see that we were in front to Mindy's house.

I looked at Mia as she smiled at me. She kissed me on the cheek before wishing me good luck. Before I got out of the car though, Levi told me to put this earpiece on.

You know those hidden things that spies use to communicate? Yeah, those. No idea what they're called, but I use them a lot.

After we were all set, I went out of the car and walked towards Mindy's house. I saw the car drive away, but just enough so it was out of sight. I know that they let Ben out, but he couldn't do anything until the camera's were disabled.

I stood in front of the door, and pressed the doorbell. Immediately, the door opened to reveal Mindy. She wore a shoulder-less shirt that was an ugly hot pink colour which hurt the eyes, and a very small skirt. Her blonde hair was curled, and thankfully, she didn't put too much make-up on.

"Ace, welcome," she greeted. She bit her lip as she eyes trailed up and down my body.

Don't vomit all over her now, Ace.

"Come in," she said, grabbing my arm, and pulling me inside. She closed the door behind her as she held on to my arm.

"Why don't we head to my room?"

Fuck no.

"Why don't you show me around first?" I asked, and she raised her sharp brow at me.

"You know, I'll be coming over a lot, and I need to be familiar with the place."

She tapped her chin, she smiling at me. "Okay!"

She tugged on my arm as we began to walk through the house. I had to say, their house was neatly decorated. There were pictures of her relatives on the wall, each of them lined perfectly.

There were a few plants her and there, as well as objects that looked a bit expensive.

"My mom decorated the place," she stated.

She continued to show me around her house. Where each room and washroom was, and which ones that I wasn't allowed to go in because they were family rooms. Finally, she showed me her father's office. It was behind large doors just like my father's office.

"We can't go in there unless we're told to," Mindy informed.

Yup, just like my father. Expect that was only for workers. My mom and I were always welcomed in his office.

"Where's you dad?" I asked.

She smirked. "Not here, neither is my mother. So just you and me," she purred.

I inwardly cringed. Before I could say anything, she was dragging me across the hall to her room.

Ben, where the fuck are you!

As if reading my thoughts, we heard a crash. "What's the hell was that?" Mindy let go of my arm, and walked to where the crash came from.

I followed a few feet behind her, so when I talked to Levi, she wouldn't be able to hear me.

"Well that's makes everything easier. Cameras are disabled, and Ben's around the house. Tell Mindy that you should split up so you can sneak into her dad's office."

Mindy gasped as she looked at broken glass sprawled across the floor. "Someone broke the window! What if someone's here!" she panicked.

"Why don't we split up and find the person?"

She walked up to me, wrapping her arms around my waist. "Don't leave me!"

I awkwardly patterned her back. "It's okay. If anything happens, just call me."

She pulled away, and nodded. We both split ways, and I practically speed-walked to Mr Summer's office. When I reached the doors, I opened the door which, thankfully, was unlocked.

Closing it behind me quietly, I looked around the room, trying to find any clue as to where that stupid contract was. I just wanted to find it, and get this over with.

I first looked at his desk. I check in each drawer, and folder I could get my hands on. But I couldn't find the stupid thing! I had to make sure I didn't destroy or ruin anything in here, or else I'd be in deep trouble.

Everything had to look like it was untouched.

I looked behind pictures that were hung up if there was anything behind it, and opened each book if there was a clue.

"Ace!" I heard Mindy scream.

Shit! I haven't found it yet! What the fuck am I gonna do!?
