Yoora and Minji were sitting on the floor, junk food sprawled around them, their eyes glued to the television screen, they were playing video games and screaming loudly as Yoora kept beating her best friend in Mario Kart.
''That's so not fair, you must be cheating!'' Minji groaned, throwing the controller onto the floor in annoyance.
''Yah, you idiot, how can I cheat in Mario Kart?'' Yoora protested as she watched Minji angrily munch on potato chips.
''I don't know, you tell me,'' Minji retorted with her mouth full of food.
Yoora snatched the bag of potato chips from her hands, crumbs falling to the floor, she took a handful and stuffed her mouth.
''You look like a chipmunk,'' Minji stated.
Yoora stuck out her tongue as she stopped chewing, ''A cute chipmunk, at least.''
Laughter filled the room followed by silence as Minji looked at her best friend with a serious expression.
''Have you told him yet?'' She asked.
Yoora lowered her head, her gaze focused on the wooden floor. ''Not yet.''
Minji let out a loud sigh, glaring at Yoora who hid her face behind her thick hair.
''You need to tell him."
A loud knock on the door interrupted the girls conversation, followed by Yoora who scrambled to her feet and ran to open the door. She was greeted by the pleasant sight of her boyfriend- Yoongi, standing at the door with his adorable gummy smile and rather fancy clothes.
He wore a crisp white, long sleeved shirt tucked into elegant black pants and a black jacket hung over his shoulder. He no longer had jet black hair as he bleached it, his blonde bangs poking at his beautiful dark brown eyes.
Yoora leaned against the doorframe, chewing on her lip as she continued to shamelessly check her boyfriend out.
''Damn, my boyfriend is hot,'' she stated, her eyes glued to his mesmerising form.
Yoongi gently ruffled her hair as he let himself in.
''I know, I always am,'' he cockily said, running a hand through his hair, pulling it back so it didn't cover half of his face.
''You're so arrogant,'' she scoffed with a smirk.
''Yoora,'' he started, closing the door behind him with his foot as he placed his hands on her tiny waist. ''Go get dressed, I'm taking you out.''
Yoora gave him a puzzled look which soon turned into a sheepish smile. ''Ah, 1 year anniversary is it?" she said as realisation hit her.
Yoongi leaned in, his lips grazed against her forehead. He planted a soft kiss on her skin, causing her cheeks to redden from the gesture.
''That's right, babygirl, let's celebrate,'' he whispered.
Yoora quickly leaned in to plant a peck on his cheek before hurriedly making her way to her bedroom. She opened her closet and scammed through all of her best dresses.
Finally picking a simple wine red dress, she put it on, watching as the dress hugged her curves and stopped at her mid thighs. She glanced at the reflection in the mirror, she looked much more vibrant and full of life compared to last year. She delicately ran a finger down her stomach, pouting at the few pounds she recently gained.
''I have to stop eating potato chips,'' she muttered, glaring at her body in mild disgust.
She proceeded to apply light makeup, along with a vibrant red lipstick and headed back to the living room.
Yoongi sat on the floor, cross legged, constant swear words left his mouth as he raced against Minji, gripping the controller in his hands extremely hard.

''Why are you winning? I'm supposed to be better at this, since I'm a man!'' Yoongi exclaimed, feeling frustrated. He furrowed his eyebrows as he focused all of his attention on the television screen.
''Goodness, you guys have no life,'' Yoora laughed, amused by the sight in front of her.
Yoongi let the controller drop to the ground as he cursed under his breath, meanwhile Minji screamed in satisfaction as she finally won a round, fist bumping the air aggressively.
''Kids,'' Yoora muttered under her breath.
''Wow," Yoongi said as his eyes scanned Yoora's appearance. The way her thick black hair fell just above her hips in waves, the way her red dress flaunted her flawless figure, the way her red tinted lips drew the most attention.
He was utterly and unconditionally in love with her, with everything about her. He loved her flaws, every little imperfection, the way her lips always curved into a wide smile whenever she saw him, her horribly loud but cute laugh, her sassiness and non existing fear of being herself, her extraordinary self that he was so in love with.
His hand found itself wrapped around hers as he flashed her a toothy grin.
''Let's go, beautiful."

Yoora found herself standing in front of a fancy restaurant with elegant decorations hanging on the outside. She nervously scratched the back of her head as she smiled sheepishly at Yoongi.
''Isn't this a bit too fancy?" she asked.
Yoongi gave her hand a light squeeze, ''Nah, it's perfect. Come on, let's not waste any time," he responded, dragging her along with him as he entered the restaurant.
He sat at a table he had reserved beforehand , pulling out the chair for Yoora who thanked him awkwardly, before sitting on the opposite side himself.
''Pick whatever you want, it's all on me,'' Yoongi said, handing her the menu.
Yoora took it, feeling her cheeks redden at how much of a gentleman Yoongi was being.
It felt so different to how he behaved in high school, heck they only finished school a mere month ago and here he was, behaving like a husband in a fancy restaurant.
Yoora clearly remembered how she fell in love with the playful, flirty, unpredictable and incredibly charming Min Yoongi, considered one of the school's hottest boys. She could never forget how they met, too, all because of a stupid mistake that turned out to be the best mistake she's ever made.
She looked through the menu at all the hard to pronounce dishes until her eyes landed on a familiar pasta dish she saw online.
''I choose the spicy pesto pasta,'' she said, putting the menu down as she glanced at Yoongi's intense gaze focused on the menu in his hands.
He looked so cute when concentrating so hard on such a simple task of picking something to eat.
''Ah, I guess I'll get something simple,'' he muttered.
Yoongi gestured for a waiter to come over, a tall handsome man with sharp features came to the table, wearing an elegant suit along with a tie.
Yoongi told the man their orders and watched the man jot them down on a piece of paper.
''Anything to drink?'' he asked with a smile.
''Champagne, please,'' Yoongi answered, looking at Yoora for approval who nodded in agreement.
The waiter left the couple sitting at their table, patiently waiting for their food to arrive.
Yoora couldn't take her eyes off her boyfriend's beautiful features, despite being his girlfriend for a year she could never get bored of admiring him, taking in what's hers.

''What're you staring at, you creep?'' Yoongi asked, knitting his brows as he watched Yoora's eyes scan him thoroughly.
''I'm just wondering, how a player like Min Yoongi became such a gentleman all of a sudden,'' she thought out loud, a smirk tugged at her lips.
Yoongi raised an eyebrow. ''Hm? What do you mean by player?''
Yoora rolled her eyes dramatically, ''Yoongi, you had your own fanclub in school, of course you were a player,'' she retorted.
Yoongi cocked his head to one side, ''Well, you're not wrong,'' he started, a smirk appearing on his face. ''But you weren't part of it, sadly.''
''Well, I was never interested in fuckboys or players,'' she said as a matter-of-factly.
''And yet here you are, sitting at a fancy restaurant with a retired playboy,'' he said, pushing his long blonde hair away from his face, revealing his forehead.
Yoora tapped the surface of the table with her long nails. "Alright, you can't be a retired playboy since you're playing with me now, don't you think?''
Yoongi leaned over the table, his elbows pressed onto the hard surface, his nose nearly touching hers.
She took in the sight of his glistening brown eyes, his pupils were dilated from the dim lighting of the room, but she could still see their vibrant colour perfectly. She felt herself get lost in their hue before his voice snapped her out of her trance.
''You think I'm playing with you, kitten? I would never," he said softly, biting his lower lip seductively.
Yoora gulped loudly, a pout appearing on her face.
''Hey, you can't say those things while biting your lip like that, meanie,'' she mumbled, feeling her cheeks turn scarlet.
Yoongi chuckled as he softly caressed her cheek, the contact of his fingers against her skin making her knees go weak under the table.
''Right, kitten,'' he purred before moving away, leaning his body on the chair.
Soon enough, the waiter came with their food and champagne, pouring it carefully into two tulip shaped glasses.
After peacefully finishing their food, sipping on their bubbly champagne, Yoora nervously fidgeted with her hands. She found herself constantly glancing at irrelevant things and unnecessarily concentrating on them, such as the scrape on the marble floor she could see out of the corner of her eye or the bubbles that rose up slowly in the glass of champagne in Yoongi's hand.
Yoongi noticed her strange behaviour and placed his drink down, focusing his attention entirely on her.
''What's wrong, Yoora?'' he asked.
Yoora let out a frustrated sigh. She knew she needed to tell him, right then and there, she has been keeping it from him for a while and he deserved to know.
Yoongi broke out into nervous laughter. ''Yoora, you look like you're about to tell me you're pregnant,'' he joked.
Yoora glared at him, blinking twice before letting out an awkward laugh.
''No, Yoongi, I'm not pregnant,'' she started, anxiously playing with the hem of her dress. ''I do need to tell you something, though, something I've been keeping from you."
Yoongi's expression immediately turned serious, his eyes focused entirely on hers. ''I'm listening.''
She cleared her throat whilst readjusting herself on her seat.
''I got accepted into a university I've had my eye on for a long time,'' she started, a small smile formed on her face.
Yoongi hastily grabbed hold of her two hands, his eyes glimmering with happiness.
''Oh my god, that's amazing Yoora!'' he exclaimed.
Yoora chewed on her lip as she stayed silent, thinking about her next choice of words.
''I got accepted into Dongguk University, Yoongi, it's located in Gyeongju,'' she started, feeling her lips quiver as she noticed the change in Yoongi's expression.
''I have to leave Seoul, I have to leave you,'' she whispered quietly.
Yoongi's grip on her hands loosened as he processed her words.
Yoongi got accepted into a university in Seoul, meaning he wouldn't have to move anywhere. He was hoping Yoora would also go to university in Seoul, so they didn't have to be separated, so they could stay together, he didn't want her to leave.
''Yoora,'' he started, feeling his hands trembling. ''Why didn't you tell me sooner?''
Yoora put her head down, not being able to look him in the eyes. She felt ashamed for keeping it a secret from her own boyfriend, but she wasn't ready to tell him just yet.
And now when she finally did, she couldn't help but regret her choice of university, as the expression on Yoongi's face caused her to feel a pang in her troubled heart.
''I didn't know how to...'' she trailed off.
Yoora anticipated the worst, Yoongi breaking down or even becoming angry with her, but he was silent. The only thing she heard was the intense beating of her heart, causing her to feel even more uneasy.
She looked up and saw a wide smile on his face, she watched him with a puzzled expression.
''I'm happy for you, Yoora,'' he said, bringing a hand to her face, carefully tucking a few strands of hair behind her ear.
She looked at him with wide eyes and her mouth agape, ''Huh? You're not angry?''
''I'm only a bit angry because you didn't tell me earlier, Yoora. I'm happy that you got accepted and you shouldn't waste this chance, you hear me?"
She was fighting back tears as she stared at him, completely wonderstruck.
''A-Are you serious? Will we be okay though? Will you be okay? We'll see each other whenever it's possible, right?'' she rambled.
Yoongi leaned in to swiftly brush his lips against hers, causing her cheeks to redden from the unexpected gesture.
''It'll be fine, Yoora. Don't worry about that, don't waste your chance and go to Gyeongju, we'll see each other whenever we can, okay?''
Yoora smiled gratefully at him. ''I don't deserve him,'' she thought.
''I love you, I seriously love you, Min Yoongi,'' she said softly as her whole face lit up.
Yoongi pressed his lips to her hand, gently kissing it, ''I love you too, Yoora. I really do.''

''You better call me everyday, missy! Or I'll fly over there and beat your ass for abandoning me!'' Minji exclaimed as she proceeded to hug the life out of Yoora, who stood at the airport with her suitcase at her feet.
Yoora chuckled into Minji's shoulder, softly petting her head, her fingers tangled in her hair.
''I'll call you everyday, I promise,'' she said, pulling away and holding out her pinky.
''Pinky promise! The only form of promise I trust,'' Minji giggled, linking her pinky finger with Yoora's, making the promise official.
''Its settled then.''
Yoora turned to face Yoongi who silently stood by the entrance with his arms crossed over his chest. He looked like a tall child pouting over something stupid, except he was sulking over his girlfriend leaving him all alone in Seoul.
Not that he'd be alone, with 6 boys and a clingy Minji, but without her it's not the same, he'd feel lonely no matter where and with who he'd be, if she couldn't be by his side he wasn't happy. She brings so much joy into his life, so much meaning, so when it was finally time for Yoora to leave, he felt his heart crumble, slowly break apart as he drove with her to the airport.
He was silent, for he was quietly hurting on the inside.
Yoora made her way to his sulking form, wrapping her arms around his neck, pulling him extremely close to her, their noses touching whilst she rested her forehead on his. Yoongi snaked his hands around her waist, noticing the light tint of pink on her cheeks he let out a chuckle.
''I'll miss you so much,'' she whispered, her hot breath tickling his open mouth.
''I'll miss you even more, kitten,'' he said, a hint of sadness in his tone.
They stayed like that for what seemed like hours, both too preoccupied with each other to care about anything else around them.
The butterflies in Yoora's stomach seemed to intensify within every passing second, meanwhile Yoongi felt his hands sweat and heart drop as he thought about his girlfriend leaving him very soon.
Yoora closed the distance between them as she lay her lips on his, kissing him deeply, passionately- he could taste the saltiness of her tears as they streamed down her cheeks.
Yoongi pulled her closer by her hips, grabbing her chin with one hand, the kiss becoming heated and sloppy as his tongue begged for entrance, to which her mouth complied with no hesitation.
Their make out session lasted a good few minutes before both of them pulled away, breathless and panting, gasping for air.
The two completely forgot about Minji who stood just a few feet away, watching them in disgust.
''Jeez, that was totally not family friendly,'' she commented, scrunching up her nose in revulsion.
Yoora rolled her eyes, "Oh yeah? I know what you and Jimin do when I'm out of the house, you absolute hypocrite,'' she retorted.
Minji turned crimson at her best friends remark, trying to desperately cover her face with her hair.
''I'm n-not a pervert like you two,'' she muttered under her breath.
Yoongi and Yoora laughed in unison with literal tears in their eyes.
''I've got to go now, or I'll miss my flight,'' Yoora said as she grabbed her baggage, smiling sadly at the two by her side.
Minji pulled her in for another hug, both of them ultimately sobbing in each others arms, Minji mumbling something about ruining her makeup while Yoora gently rubbed her back soothingly, hoping she'd be able to calm the hysterical girl down.
After a lot of tears and sniffles, Yoora glanced at Yoongi, who was staring at her puffy eyes and snot dripping from her nose. Even with that appearance, she looked absolutely beautiful to him.
Yoongi outstretched his arms, waiting for her to run to him so he could embrace her, and that's exactly what she did. They hugged for as long as they could before Yoora pulled away, ''I've really got to go now, Yoongi,'' she murmured, sniffling as she smiled weakly at him.
Yoongi gently petted her head, his fingers rubbing her scalp seemed to calm her down as the tears halted.
''See you soon, Yoora,'' he whispered, kissing her forehead before letting her go, waving at her as she disappeared from his sight.

Yoora safely landed in Gyeongju, she spent the whole 3 hours of her flight quietly sobbing to herself as she listened to depressing music whilst looking out the window at the fluffy clouds.
She took in the beauty of Gyeongju as she took a bus to her dorm where she'd be living, right beside the university she'll be attending. To say she was ecstatic was an understatement, but she couldn't bring herself to smile knowing she left her boyfriend and the people she cared deeply about behind.
She took out her phone and looked through her gallery, laughing or smiling sadly, feeling nostalgia hit her hard at all of the photos she had saved. Most of them were of her and Yoongi, either silly selcas or photos taken from dates. Others consisted of Minji and the boys, mostly Jin as he would steal Yoora's phone to, as he would say, engrave his handsomeness into it, making it worth millions. Yoora found it silly but never deleted any of his photos, she had to admit, Jin was definitely worldwide handsome.
She was on the brink of tears again as she stumbled upon the first photo she took with Yoongi, his black hair stuck out from underneath the cap on his head that he wore backwards. Yoora's face was smeared in icing as she somehow tripped and ended up falling face first onto a pile of donuts.
It was a memorable day for both of them, as it was their first date after becoming a couple.
''Ah, time sure flies, doesn't it?'' she whispered to herself, wiping the tears from her face with her sleeve.

The world isn't fair. If anything, the inherent injustice of the world is what separates it from the fiction we so adore. Luis Freighthold knew this all too well, and that was why it took a bit longer than it should have to realise when he suddenly had everything he could ever have wanted. Raised in a working-class single-father home, Luis had no other escape than fiction. Specifically, vampire stories of varying quality and genre. There was something appealing about the ability to fly, turn into shadows and become smoke. Danger. An unfamiliarity with the social world that rejected him so. Was it so wrong for him to hope for a different life? Maybe, maybe not. Either way, now he had it—a lust for blood and abilities beyond the understanding of civil man. Could you really say that he had anything left to complain about? A vampire story following an unconventional vampire boy forced to accept that maybe becoming a vampire doesn't magically solve all your problems. As a matter of fact, it might just make a whole bunch of them even worse. Regardless, Luis is prepared to try everything to live up to the vampire books he had previously gorged on. What did it matter that his vampire form had no teeth, replaced instead by a long, needle-tipped tongue? He was still a vampire, wasn't he? Chapters are around 10 A4 pages long, releasing once a week on Mondays, 01:00 CET.
