''Will you go out with me?''

Yoora stood still, her eyes widening at the words spoken by the incredibly handsome boy standing a few centimetres away from her.

She opened her mouth to say something, anything, but nothing came out. She just stood there, utterly speechless.

Taehyung suddenly covered his mouth as his cheeks turned red.

''O-Oh! I didn't mean it like that!'' he exclaimed, laughing nervously. "What I meant was, would you like to go out for some coffee with me?''

Yoora felt her heartbeat slow down as she released a deep breath she didn't even know she was holding in.

''S-Sure,'' she responded, flashing him a shaky smile.

''Perfect, let's go!'' he exclaimed as he grabbed her hand and left the school, pulling her along with him.

Yoora was still in shock, which is why she didn't protest in the slightest.

Taehyung slowed down his pace to a slow walk, he looked at Yoora who was staring at their intertwined fingers, completely awestruck.

He let go of her hand and let out a nervous giggle. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to be so touchy,'' he said.

Yoora violently shook her head and grinned at him. ''No, it's me who should apologise. I'm sorry for freaking out,'' she said softly.

Taehyung ruffled her hair playfully, thinking about how cute she looked while apologising for absolutely no reason.

''Don't be sorry, dummy,'' he said with a grin.

Yoora looked at him and studied his expression change within seconds; from his boxy smile to a frown as he seemed so fixated on something behind her.

''Taehyung? Is everything okay?'' she asked.

Taehyung finally looked at her and smiled warmly at her, making her worries dissappear.

''Yes, everythings fine. Let's go, Yoora,'' he said, walking on ahead.

Yoora was confused by the sudden change of mood, from happy to sad to happy, but she didn't question it and happily followed him, engaging in small talk on the way.

They stopped in front of a small café, located right beside a mall and some bigger restaurants.

"Ah, I've never been here before, it looks so cute," Yoora beamed as she stared at the rainbow decorations surrounding the building. Small, rainbow led lights hung from the roof, making it look very aesthetically pleasing.

Taehyung held the door open for Yoora, who could feel herself blush profusely as she walked past him, whispering a ''thank you''.

They sat at a table and looked through the menu.

''Do you come here often?" she asked.

''I've been here a few times, but no I don't come here often.''

A young, thin girl approached their table in a cute rainbow apron. Her blonde hair was nearly tied up into a bun and as she smiled, her dimples were on full display.

''Can I take your orders?'' she asked sweetly.

''I'll have a hazelnut macchiato, how about you Yoora?''

''Caramel macchiato, please."

The waitress smiled at them, jotting down their orders onto a piece of paper.

Yoora stared at Taehyung, who sat across from her. His dirty blonde hair was pulled back with a bandana, revealing his forehead. She made a mental note of how hot he looked with that hairstyle.

She noticed his eyes locked into hers and felt her ears turn red within seconds. ''Did he just catch me checking him out?" she thought, feeling embarrassed.

''Yoora,'' he started. Yoora focused all of her attention on him.

''Do you like anyone at the moment?'' he asked with a serious look on his face.

Yoora gulped, she has never seen Taehyung so serious before.

She thought about it intensively, nobody came into mind. She couldn't think of anyone she could possibly like, or have any romantic feelings for. Yeah, she kissed Jungkook but it was just a dare, nothing else.

''No, I don't,'' she replied.

Taehyung opened his mouth but immediately closed it, fidgeting with his fingers. He chewed on his lip, completely lost in his own world.

''Taehyung? How come you wanted to go out with me instead of your friends?'' she asked.

He looked up, staring at her beautiful dark brown eyes.

''I wanted to bring you here, I thought you'd like it. I always go out with them, so I wanted to do something with you for a change,'' he replied whilst playing with his earring, dangling from his ear in the shape of a silver upside down cross.

Yoora ruffled his hair as she giggled, ''That's cute, Tae.''

Taehyung felt as if his cheeks were on fire along with his internal organs. His heart was beating so fast against his ribcage he was scared it'd jump out of his chest. The butterflies in his stomach were overwhelming at that point, as he stared at her smiling face, the mere sight making him overflow with happiness and pure bliss.

Soon enough, their coffee arrived and they took a sip, their eyes widening at the subtle yet sweet taste of the coffee.

''How's the caramel? The hazelnut is really good.''

Yoora put both of her hands on her cup of coffee, leaning in and taking in the fragrance of the sweet coffee.

''Its amazing, thank you for bringing me here, Tae," she said softly as she closed her eyes, her hands still gripping the cup.

He looked at her with adoration. He couldn't believe he was sitting there with her in a café, it was almost like a date. The thought sent his mind spiraling into a state of disarray and total chaos, his imagination going overboard.

On the other hand, Yoora was enjoying her time with her friend. She hadn't been able to relax in a while because of the drama in her life, so she appreciated the moment.

Yoora opened her eyes and noticed Taehyung glancing outside the window with the same expression as before - a cold, worried look on his face.

''Taehyung? What's wrong?'' she asked, taking his hand into hers, caressing it gently. She was worried, what was he so scared about.

Taehyung was too distracted to notice his hand in hers as he stared out the window, a million thoughts going through his mind.

He snapped out of his trance and his face relaxed as he looked back at Yoora, who was obviously worried about him.

''Relax, I'm okay, just a bit tired,'' he muttered.

Yoora wanted to ask him about it some more, especially since she sensed he was lying, but thought she'd only be annoying him and let it go.

They finished their coffees and Taehyung insisted on walking her home, straight to her front door.

''It's okay, Tae! I can walk home on my own,'' she protested.

Taehyung didn't take no for an answer as he forcefully grabbed her hand started walking the opposite direction.

''Why is he so keen on walking me home? I don't even live that far from here,'' she thought.

As they were walking, Yoora shook her wrist from his grasp and grabbed his hand instead, intertwining her fingers with his. ''Its better this way, don't you think?'' she said with a chuckle.

Taehyung stared at their linked hands and felt himself turn 50 shades of red.

As they were walking, they didn't notice the arcade they passed, and they certainly didn't notice a blonde haired boy standing by the window, watching the scene before him.

''Well, that's interesting. I thought he felt too sick to go out.''
