《Come Back To Me, Kiwi.》Chapter 68 - Weddings and Reunited

Today is the day I finally see Theo recover from this torture he's putting himself through. I was up early, because Kiara was very particular about how everything was going to go.

"Get ready. I'll wake Theo up." She told me a soon as the alarm rang.

"Come back to me, Kiwi." I said to her. "I need my morning kiss."

She giggled and ran back to me, wrapping her arms around my neck as I sat up.

She kissed me passionately and I collapsed on the bed with her in my arms.

"I don't wanna do anything." I groaned.

"Get up, birthday boy. And pretend to be a groom!" She giggled.

"Yes, Ma'am." I chuckled, kissing her one last time before she left to wake Theo up.

In all honesty, I didn't know how Theo was going to feel. So, I followed her and just let them have their moment from afar. I watched as Kiara sat down on the bed with Theo laying face first in it.

"Oh my goodness. Theo?!" She said, her hand meeting his back.

"No, Kiara. Leave. You don't have to see me like this." He said, still hiding his face in his pillow.

"Theo.... One word and I'm cancelling everything, you and I can just go out together.... Please don't be sad, Theo." She begged him.

"I miss her." He said softly.

"I know, Theo. I know you do. You'll get her back too, do you understand me. No girl in her right mind would leave you behind and forget about you." Kiara told him.

Theo slowly sat up, wiping away his tears and hugging Kiara.

"Theo... do you think that maybe I could join you and Vidal today? For breakfast and stuff?" Kiara asked him.

"Evan's coming too.... I just want to stay in bed until the wedding though.... Please?" He said.

"No. It's your birthday, Theo! You're twenty eight today! Be happy, Crazy! Don't sulk about things you can't control right now." She said.

"You're right. It's just that it was always going to be me and Mabel marrying each other before anyone else in the family. Then Ari got married, then Vidal found you and Gabriel found Ava and Romeo found Juliet and even Evan found Rosie. And me? I lost the girl I love. I'm so stupid. I shouldn't have let her walk away that day." He sighed.

"It wasn't in your hands, Theo.... It's over now, whatever happened can't change. Now... you get up, enjoy your birthday, and come to our wedding party thing so that I can officially be your sister... then, we'll deal with Mabel tonight. Ok? You and I are going to end this misery." She said to him.

"N-no. I can't look for her, I can't." He said.

"Ok, we'll talk tonight. Forget this whole Mabel business. Just enjoy your birthday." She told him.

"Ok. Love you, Kiara." He smiled weakly.

"I love you, Big Bro. Now get up and get ready! You have a delicious breakfast waiting for you somewhere." She chuckled, hugging him and turning towards the door.

I watched Theo look down at the ring on his finger and sigh. He got up, and went into his closet as Kiara came out of his bedroom.

"Hey." She said, wrapping her arms around me and bringing her lips to mine. "Were you eavesdropping on us?"

"I was. He doesn't seem to be doing so well." I sighed.

"It's ok. He'll be all better once Mabel is here. Speaking of which, who's picking her up?" Kiara asked me.

"Uhm... great question." I chuckled nervously.

"I'm calling her. Do you think she landed?" Kiara asked in a panic.

"Hey, hey. Relax. I think she's still flying. When did she leave?" I asked.

"Uhm... eight hours ago." Kiara said.

"Alright then she's flying right now. We have an hour to figure out who is going to pick her up." I explained.

"Alright... alright... so you and Evan just take Theo out for now... I'll figure everything else out... now go get ready!" She said, kissing me one last time before she walked off.

I walked off and got ready to go out with Theo and Evan. Theo's eyes were red when he came out of his room, ready to go.

"Bro... look at me for a second." I said to him.

"What?" He asked me.

"This is about Mabel, right?" I asked him.

"Everything is about her." He sighed.

"Listen to me. Let me show you something, alright?" I asked him.

"Alright." He nodded.

"Come with me, let's take Eleanor to school before we go for breakfast and I'll show you exactly why you need to stop torturing yourself.

I took him down to the kitchen where Eleanor was sitting on the counter with Romeo feeding her some cereal.

"Daddy, I don't wanna go to school." She whined.

"You have to, baby." He told her.

"Why? School is boring and stupid." She groaned.

"I agree." I laughed.

"No. It's not boring and stupid. It's fun. You guys were going to go check on your flowers, weren't you?" He asked her.

"I like the flowers I planted with Nana better." She frowned, crossing her arms over her chest.

"Come on, Nora... you get to draw and play with your friends and then after school we're going to the island and we'll have a big party." Romeo said to her.

"I don't wanna go to school today." She said, pouting at him.

"Sweetheart... what if I took you to school, huh? I'll take you to school with Uncle Theo and Uncle Evan... how does that sound?"

"Ok.... But Daddy will come with us." She said.

"Alright, princess. You'll have a whole army escorting you to school." Romeo chuckled.

"Good, let's go!" She giggled, jumping off the counter.

"Hey, hey! Not so fast! We're finishing breakfast first." Romeo said, picking his daughter up and placing her on the counter again.

"Daddy." She giggled. "I love you."

Romeo laughed and kissed her on the forehead.

"I love you too, baby." He smiled at her.

After he finished getting her ready for school, we took her all together and Romeo went off to get Juliet from the mansion. They were both flying down to the island and helping with the set up.

Theo, Evan and I stayed back at the school and went to the junior high that was right next to the elementary school. We went in and found the stairwell where he met Mabel. It was deserted now, but Theo smiled and looked around at the space before sitting down.

"God, I miss sitting here with her." He sighed.

"It's alright, Bro. You'll find her." I assured him. "You used to sit here and listen to her, brush her hair for her, and just make her feel looked after. She's not going to find love like that with another man."

"It's what she deserves. So she damn well wouldn't settle if someone didn't treat her the way I did or better. And I'm sure lots of guys will see how special she is and give her what she deserves." Theo said.

"Next stop, let's go." I said, helping Theo up off the ground.

We went to the little café near the school, Milk and Sugar. The second Theo entered he smiled, going to sit at he same seat they always occupied. We got some breakfast there, and he didn't order the carrot cake, he only wanted to have that if she was there to share it.

"See... you even used to share the carrot cake. You'd feed it to her and wrap your arm around her. She felt loved, Theo. You made her feel loved and protected. That girl did not go out and find another guy. She couldn't. She came running to you here in tears because she had to leave and you promised each other to find each other again." I told him.

Theo nodded.

"Next stop?" I asked him.

"Yeah." He nodded.

Evan drove us to the soccer field that we used to play in on the weekends and after school and we sat down on the bleachers and watched the kids play. Theo was pretty happy visiting these places and restoring his faith in the fact that she would never move on.

"And here. She used to come here and watch you play soccer. She didn't have to come and watch. She could've done something more entertaining with her time, but she chose to watch you play, knowing you would come give her attention every chance you got." I said.

He chuckled and nodded.

"See... you need to stop sulking and realize that no one would move on after what you had. And it didn't end on a bad note. You guys had the most amazing last day together. You still wear that ring around your finger, she probably still wears hers too. You belong with each other, Theo. You really do." Evan told him.

"Alright. So, let's go then... we've got a wedding to attend." Theo said.

"We'll wait for Eleanor to get off school and we'll take her with us. Romeo is already setting up with Juliet and some of the others." I said.

"Alright. So what now?" Theo asked.

"Now, let's go see if there's something to eat at home, I know we just ate a while ago, but I'm hungry again." Evan said.

So we went back to the house and we got some food, then we picked Eleanor up from school and we all flew back to the Island.

Kiara came running at me and she hugged me, whispering something in my ear.

"She's in our room, baby. Don't let him go in there." Kiara whispered, kissing my cheek.

"Alright." I chuckled.

We all went and changed. My baby put her wedding dress on and my God, she was gorgeous.

We all had a lot of fun. We ate birthday cake. Even Theo who was still kind of sad had lots of fun. Then, Kiara nudged me, telling me to start my speech.

"Alright. So... you all know that Kiara and I are getting married. And we said this was our wedding party. But in reality, I won't be marrying her for another two weeks and we'll celebrate the wedding then. Today, is about me and my twin brother. I know that you've already found the girl for you, just like I found Kiara. But you found her a long time before I found my girl." I said.

Theo raised an eyebrow and looked at me.

"I know that you never wanted me to reach out to her and try to find her for you. You were scared that she'd be with someone else. But once you brush a girl's hair and feed her carrot cake and even call her Rapunzel. That girl isn't settling for another guy, ok? That's why all of us decided, it's time you got your girl back and it's about time she got you back." I said.

"What did you do, you idiot?!" Theo said, getting up.

Mabel was dressed in her purple dress, her hair was down and flowing past her hips, and she wrapped her arms around him from behind.

"No way!" He said, stiffening completely in her arms.

"I let my hair down for you, Amore." She said to him.

"Oh my God. This is really real?!" He asked me.

"It's real, baby. Turn around." Mabel said to him.

Theo was standing stiff in her arms before he turned and kissed the life out of her. He ran his fingers through her hair and examined her face. Both of them were crying and smiling at the same time. Theo was frantically checking her for any sign that she wasn't real. He couldn't keep his hands to himself. He was happier than I'd ever seen him in my entire life.

That smile on my brother's face was definitely worth the wait and all the teasing we'd been doing with this fake wedding we'd all set up.

Finally, Theo and Mabel were reunited. And I knew that it would only be a matter of time before they were married too. Mabel was finally home.

She ran up to me and she gave me a hug and a small gift. She thanked me and said happy birthday and then she spent the rest of the day in Theo's arms.

Kiara and I were just happy that everyone had found their happiness. My girl was in her beautiful wedding dress, letting me give her all the attention that a beautiful woman like herself deserves. I was honestly just as uncontrollable as Theo was with Mabel.

It was tradition for us both to sit down and have everyone hand us their gifts that they'd gotten us. And we did the same thing again, except Theo wouldn't let Mabel go and I insisted that Kiara stay in my lap.

Theo and I had an unbreakable bond. The trust we put in each other was very special and I already saw that kind of relationship coming to life between Mabel and Kiara. Which was amazing, because I had always wanted the woman I married to be great friends with Theo and the woman he married. But to be honest, Kiara was friends with everyone, so there was never any danger of them not liking each other. My girl was the most lovable girl in the world.

Everyone just decided to take some time off and enjoy having a complete family, no one was missing anymore. We had an amazing two weeks with everyone, and then it was time for me to marry my kiwi.

Kiara and I went and got our marriage papers signed, then we came to the island and celebrated. We took more pictures together, all dressed up. We even had a little dance party before they finally let us go to our little cabin. And that was a night I would never forget. My wedding night.
