《Come Back To Me, Kiwi.》Chapter 66 - Dresses and Girls Night

"Alright girls... wedding dress time!" Aunt Em said.
I was sitting in her shop with all the girls in the family. She had all the white cloth she owned laid out in front of us. Vivi and I got back from Paris after an amazing week there and it was time to get into wedding plans and preparations!
We were trying to design my dress and Mila and Eleanor were our little helpers. Mila was stuck to me today for some reason. I couldn't get her to let me go. And she was very vocal about her opinion on things.
"Dis one!" She screeched, pointing to some lace. I looked down at it and smiled. It was very pretty.
"You like this one, Cutie?" I asked her.
"Pwetty!" She giggled.
I smiled and picked it up. I like this one." I smiled, admiring it.
"I like the elegant fairy princess look on Kiara... you think we can do something like that?" Juliet asked.
"Of course. We can do absolutely anything." Aunt Em said.
"I like this one." Nana Bella said. "For the veil.
"Oh, that's gorgeous." Nana Lucie smiled.
"I love it." I giggled.
"The lace that Mila liked can go on the bodice. But what do you want to use for the skirt? The same cloth?"
"No. This is pretty for the skirt." Ari said, making Ava nod in agreement.
"What about sleeves? I think sleeves would be very beautiful." Rosalie said.
"Oh you're right. But they have to be the same as the bodice, I think... right?" Ava asked.
"Yeah, definitely." Juliet nodded.
"Ok... maybe off-shoulder sleeves?" Fifi said.
"Oh my... let's see what he have so far." Aunt Em said, putting the dress together on the manikin in front of us.
"Cupcake, you want a belt?" Eleanor said softly, holding up another cloth.
"Oh... that's a nice idea!" Momma smiled.
"Alright. Slow down, guys." Aunt Em laughed.
Poor Mia was passed out in her mother's arms and Mila was beginning to get restless in my arms.
"You want to sleep, Mili? I asked her.
"No... dress!" She said.
"You can see the dress when Aunt Em makes it and it's all pretty." I said.
"Sleep here?" She asked me.
"Yeah, right here." I told her.
She nodded and rested her head against my chest, still looking at the dress.
Aunt Em smiled at her work and then she stepped aside and we all looked at the beautiful dress in front of us.
"No, no. Make the bottom flowy." Ari said.
"Alright. What if we use this for the skirt?" Aunt Em asked.
"Dis one!" Mila said, pointing to the original cloth that Ari had chosen for the skirt, pulling herself out of my lap and walking towards Aunt Em.
"Which one?" Aunt Em asked her.
"Nana, dis one!" She said.
"Alright, now what?" Aunt Em asked her.
Mila tugged on the cloth on the bodice and Aunt Em frowned, watching and trying to figure out what Mila wanted.
"Oh... Ok. Let Nana do it, baby." Aunt Em said, and she removed the bodice, changing it.
"Oh my goodness, that's beautiful." I said.
"Not dis." Mila said.
"What?" Aunt Em asked her.
"Small!" Mila demanded.
"Small?" Ari asked her daughter.
"Small!" Mila said harshly.
"Ok, show me, Mili. What's small?" Aunt Em asked, pulling her up.
"Not dis!" She said, tugging on the sleeve.

"Alright. Let me just take it off and you can show me, ok?" Aunt Em asked her, placing her back down on the ground.
Mila stood there beside Aunt Em, watching. Then Aunt Em handed her the cloth and picked her up again and she started creating a very small off-shoulder sleeve.
"Not dis!" Mila said, tugging on the skirt, and then Aunt Em removed the skirt and Mila grabbed the same cloth that was on the bodice and she handed it to Aunt Em
It actually looked very pretty, this child was a genius. But she wasn't done yet. She grabbed the original skirt cloth and she handed it to Aunt Em.
"Where?" Aunt Em asked.
"Here." Mila said, pointing to the back of the skirt.
Aunt Em let her do it herself and it created almost like a cape or train and then she grabbed the belt and she placed it over the waist. Then aunt Em added the veil, putting flowers along it and placed it on the manikin.
"Pwetty, for Pwetty." Mila said, jumping up when she looked at her work.
"Oh my God, it's so pretty!" Nana Isabella smiled.
"Mila, can you design my wedding dress too?" Rosalie chuckled pulling Mila into a hug.
Mila started giggling as everyone began showering her with praise.
Aunt Em pulled me aside and she put a dress on me. Then she added all the things Mila had designed to that dress and she let me look at myself in it.
"It would fit more nicely." She told me, when it was loose. "Like this."
She tugged it on better so that it hugged my body.
"Wow.... It's.... It's beautiful." I giggled while the tears built up in my eyes.
"Let's show it to everyone else." She said, kissing my forehead and hugging me.
We went out to see them, and Aunt Em held the dress in the back. I saw everyone gasp as they examined the dress on me. They loved it just as much as me.
"That's it. This is the one. Vidal will lose it." Fifi said, coming up to me and hugging me lightly so she didn't get stabbed with pins and then kissing my cheek.
"Pwetty." Mila said, tugging gently on the dress.
"Thank you so much, Mili. It's beautiful." I said to her.
"Pwetty, want hug." She told me.
I nodded and leaned down, hugging her gently so that she didn't get pricked by a needle from the dress.
I went back to the changing room with aunt Em and she took the dress off me.
"Alright. Time for girls night while I make this beautiful dress." She told me.
I giggled and went back out to join everyone.
Mila ran back into my arms and I picked her up, holding her tightly as she hugged me. Before I knew it, she was sound asleep and we were all still talking.
"Aunt Em, can I put them down in there?" Arabella asked, pointing to the small back room.
"Yeah, sure thing. You'll just have to move all the hangers on that bed." Aunt Em said, pointing to the little room behind her. I got up and carried Mila there as well.
Ari and I put the girls down and then Ari suddenly started crying.
"Oh my goodness, Ari. What's wrong?" I asked her.
"I don't want you to get too busy with the business and Vidal... when am I going to see you?" She sobbed, walking over and hugging me.

"Aw, Ari. I'll always make time for my sisters. You can go with me sometimes to view an area that we're designing and I can always hang out with you while I make designs." I told her.
"You can?" She asked me.
"Of course. I'd rather never work that job than lose you, Ari. You're going to see me everyday and you're gonna get sick of me." I laughed.
"I couldn't ever..." She said, hugging me tightly. "What about when you have a baby?"
"You're gonna be a big part of my baby's life... but Vidal and I aren't planning on having any babies soon." I said to her.
"You know Miki and I didn't plan on the girls... I panicked when I found out I was pregnant. But it was happy in the end. I didn't expect two babies at once." She laughed.
"Did the birth control just not work?" I asked her.
"No... I.... Well I fell into that coma, right? And then when I woke up I couldn't remember him. But all of a sudden, I remembered everything from something he said.... And we couldn't hold back. I wasn't on birth control and he didn't like.... You know... we weren't trying to prevent it. And it just went on like that for quite a while. Like we just didn't think of that... it was stupid of us, but we got beautiful babies out of it, look at them." She giggled.
"How did you know what to do? What scares me most is getting pregnant when I know nothing about being a mother. I've never held a baby in my life and I don't really know anything about babies.... Doesn't it scare you? And what about your body? Did it like... change?" I asked her.
"I got some stretch marks." She said, pulling her shirt up and showing them to me. "But that's about it."
"What if I get loose skin or if I'm not as attractive and Vivi doesn't like it?" I asked.
"Sweetheart, Vidal never liked you because you look a certain way." She told me. "You're just a beautiful person from in here." She said, pointing to my heart.
"Ok... but like... don't you have to be attracted to someone to want to do things with them?" I asked.
"He'll always want to. The attraction becomes way less about what you look like and more about you yourself. He knows it's you, he's going to want to do things with you." Ari assured me.
"And what if I mess up with my baby. If I do something wrong?" I asked her.
"That's why you have this whole family backing you up. Trust me, I was afraid of that too. But there was someone there every step of the way to help me out." She told me.
"Will you help me raise my baby to be as perfect as yours?" I asked her.
"Yes. Of course!" She said.
"But I don't want one now. I just want to live with Vidal for a few years and enjoy that before we think of making the family any bigger." I explained.
"Fair enough... let's go have fun now, ok?" She asked me.
I nodded my head and off we went to meet the rest of the girls in the lounge at the shop.
"Who wants to go out and get some food before we go home?" Ava asked us.
"Me! I'm starving!" Momma said, getting up.
We all got up and grabbed our things, leaving Nana Isabella with Aunt Em and the twins. We all went and grabbed some food from Angel's, and then we went back to the shop and Nana Isabella was insistent that they give me a makeover.
I sat there in a chair, and Nana Lucie put makeup on me, while Momma did my hair and the other girls picked out an outfit for me.
Once I was all dressed up. Eleanor ran over to me and she put a tiara on my head.
"Cupcake, you look pretty! Can you do it to me too?" She asked me.
"Sure. I can do your makeup, Princess. And Momma can do your hair....." I smiled.
I sat her down on the chair in front of me and put a little bit of makeup on her pretty little face. I of course didn't put a lot of it. Juliet did her hair for her, letting it down and curling it on the ends.
"I found a matching outfit." Ari squealed, running over with an Eleanor-sized outfit that was identical to mine.
El put it on and she looked at herself in the mirror.
"I look different." She said.
"You look good, you always look good." I said, kissing her cheek and making her laugh when she saw the imprint I left on her cheek.
We eventually both wiped out makeup off and we got changed into our regular clothes, then all the girls started trying on dresses for the wedding. They all knew the plan for celebrating on Vidal and Theo's birthday. It was a little mean, but it would be worth it when Theo saw his girl when he was least expecting it.
We called Mabel and we told her that she needed to get a dress ready for the wedding. She said she already had and that she was too excited to wait and she showed us a pretty light purple dress, it was very simple, and very Mabel. I couldn't wait to meet her in person, she was wonderful!
After all the girls had picked out their dresses for the wedding and we'd all chatted up a storm, stuffed ourselves with incredible amounts of delicious food, painted each other's nails and done each other's hair, the dress was finally ready. I tried it on and it fit me perfectly. Then, it was time to head home where it would just be us girls. We were planning in putting Eleanor to bed and then watching some scary movies together with some popcorn and chips.
But we got home and of course out of ten women, all of them had forgotten their keys. The boys were all on the Island and they were not going to be able to come rescue us from being trapped outside the mansion.
"What're we going to do now?" Juliet laughed.
Momma circled around the large mansion and looked up at the windows.
"Ari is your window unlocked?" She asked me.
"Uhm... probably. I never remember to lock it." She laughed.
"Alright. Kiara, baby, you're going to climb up there, pull the window open from outside and then jump in and come unlock the door for us." She told me.
"Why me?" I asked.
"Because you're the smallest." She told me.
"Ok, fine... but you promise that you won't tell Vivi about this?" I asked.
"Of course. He'd kill us all." She laughed.
"Ok... how so I get up there?" I asked.
"Right here, climb up this thing, then you'll be able to reach the railing and climb onto the balcony... I locked that door before we left though, so you're going to have to shimmy over on that little thing there, and reach Ari's window." Momma told me.
"What it I fall?" I asked her.
"All nine of us will catch you, don't worry." She laughed.
"Ok..." I said softly, grabbing the pole I was meant to climb.
I started to climb it, knowing it was quite dangerous and I might die, but doing it anyway because I trusted those girls to make sure nothing happened to me.
I climbed the until I reached the little ledge on top of the porch. It was at a slant, But it was better than being attached to a pole. I stood up, being very careful and then I reached out for the bottom of the balcony railing, but I couldn't reach it.
"Jump!" Ari said.
"Jump?! Are you crazy?" I yelled.
"Just jump, baby. I promise you'll be fine, if you fall we'll all catch you." Momma told me.
I sighed and then my phone started ringing and I almost tripped.
"Momma.... Vivi's calling!" I said, after looking down at my phone.
"Ignore him, Kiara. You're trying not to die right now." Momma said to me.
I listened to her, slipping my phone into my pocket again and then preparing to jump. I jumped up and I grabbed the railing of the balcony, I was able to slowly pull myself up and then throwing one leg over the railing and plopping onto it.
"Ok... now you have to walk across that tiny ledge and get to Ari's window." Momma told me.
"Oh my God. Oh my God... I'm gonna die." I said to myself as I threw one led over the railing and then the other.
I was now sitting on the railing and all the girls were directly below me. I grabbed onto the railing and slowly planted my feet on the very thin ledge what I was meant to walk across. I very slowly lifted myself so that I was standing and moved to the side as slowly as I needed to.
I eventually reached the other end, and I sat on the slightly wider ledge at the bottom of the window. Then I tried to slide the window open, but it was much harder than I thought. My phone started ringing again, and I ignored it again. I tried harder to pull the window up and after three tries, it started to open, but my phone started ringing yet again.
I quickly slid into the house through the window and heard the girls cheering outside. I just let myself lay there for a few seconds and catch my breath.
"I'm alive! Oh my God. I'm alive!" I said to myself, taking some time to calm down before I answered Vivi's fourth call.
"Hi." I said.
"Kiara? I called you like twenty times." Vivi said.
"It was three and this is the fourth." I informed him.
"Ok... but why didn't you answer?" He asked.
"Uhm... I was dealing with some doors and windows.... it's not important." I said, trying to brush it off.
"Ok...? Why are you panting?" He asked me.
"Because." I told him.
"You're acting strange, baby. What's going on?" He asked me.
"Nothing, Vivi. Give me a second." I said, running down the stairs and going to open the door for the girls.
"Where are the other girls?" He asked me.
"Uhm... I'm upstairs, I'm going to them now." I said to him.
"Ok... You really are acting weird." He said to me.
"Ok, fine. We all forgot our keys, so I climbed to Ari's window and got through it and now I'm opening the door for everyone." I admitted.
"Have you lost your mind, Kiara?! How could you put your life in danger like that?! If you fell you could've died." He said.
"We had to get into the house, besides, the girls have got me. If I fell they could've caught me." I said. "And it's not even that high."
"Yes it is! We all hesitated to have Micah jump and there were like two meters of snow on the ground!" He said in frustration.
"I'm fine, Vivi. I promise." I told him. "Just relax, baby."
"I can't relax knowing you do things like that when I'm not around." He said.
"Baby. We jumped off a much higher cliff into water together and I didn't even know how to swim back then... you think this is dangerous? What about that?" I asked him.
"Ok, but I was holding your hand. I was right there to help you if something happened." He said to me.
"And so were the girls in case I needed them now." I said, opening the front door for all of them.
"It's not the same." He said.
"I'm fine... oh my God." I said, rolling my eyes.
"You're sure you're ok? Nothing hurts?" He asked me.
"I'm completely sure. There's nothing wrong with me, I'm one hundred percent, healthy and safe and unharmed." I said to him.
"Good. If I find even a single scratch on you, Kiara, you're not being left alone with the girls until I'm sure you've learned not to put yourself in dangerous situations.
"Oh my God! I'm ok!" I said.
"Give me the phone." Momma said, rolling her sleeves up and taking it from me.
I laughed and watched her frown.
"Leave the girl alone. She's perfectly fine. I've done this myself before countless times." Momma said.
"You have?" Ava and I asked at the same time.
"Yeah. Ask Sophie and Em." Momma said, making them laugh at their memories.
"Go away, Vidal. You're being annoying. She's free to do whatever her heart desires." Momma told him.
We all watched and waited to see if she was successful in getting him to shut up about how dangerous it was.
"He wants to talk to you." She said, handing me the phone.
I took it from her and I rushed to get the most comfortable spot on the couch before Ava. But Ari beat us to it, leaving Rosalie to pull her off and tackle her for the spot. Then Juliet ever so elegantly plopped in the spot while we all fought over it.
"Juliet!" We all groaned.
She laughed and winked at us.
"That's right. Who's the queen of the house?" She asked.
"Me!" Eleanor screeched, making us all laugh.
"Remember when that was us." Aunt Em laughed at Momma and Fifi.
"Yeah." They nodded, watching us argue.
"Hello. Hello. Hello. Hello. Hello. Hello?! Kiara!" I heard faintly through the phone.
"Oops, sorry!" I laughed, putting my phone to my ear.
"Are you sure you're ok?" He asked me.
"Of course I am, baby. I swear to you. If I thought it was too dangerous, you know I wouldn't have done it, right?" I asked her.
"You're right. Did you guys make a dress?" He asked me.
"Yup. Turns out Mila is a fashion genius." I chuckled.
"That's awesome." Vivi chuckled.
"What're you guys doing up there?" I asked him.
