It was finally the end of March. Almost April and Theo had been helping me plan my proposal. He came up with the idea to tell Kiara that I wanted to go on a trip with her for fun since we'd be too busy with the business and then propose to her on our trip. I had planned it perfectly. I just needed Kiara to agree to fly with me. Immediately.

Arabella and the other girls were already planning our wedding which we were doing in May. May was a very pretty month, and to have a wedding on the Island in May would be absolutely beautiful. Kiara would love it.

"Hey Kiwi." I said softly, coming up behind her and kissing her upside down from over the couch.

"Hi." She giggled.

"You wanna be adventurous with me?" I asked her.

"Always. As long as Splash can come with us." She told me, holding up the adorable bunny.

"Splash is always welcome on our adventures." I told her.

"What kind of adventure is this?" She asked me.

"A travelling adventure. Theo is going to tell the pilot where to take us, and you and I are going to take Papa Teo's private jet wherever Theo chooses. How does that sound?" I asked her.

"When are we leaving?" She giggled.

"As soon as possible. Theo has already made all the reservations for us wherever we're going. He said he'd text them to us as we progressed on the trip." I told her, which wasn't true. I'd planned everything, but I wanted to conceal any hints that might lead her to suspect the proposal.

"Ok. Let's go! I just need to pack a bag and some stuff for Splash." She told me.

"Sounds good. I'll help you." I said to her.

I threw a few changes of clothes into a backpack and told her Theo said it might be cold and might be raining a lot.

"Ok. Let's go!" She said, throwing a rain coat and some warmer clothing in her bag.

She grabbed Splash and put him in his little basket with some food. Then off we were to the private jet. Theo met us there and he looked at Splash.

"Hey, Kiara. I think maybe you'll want to just spend time with Vidal on this trip. I can babysit Splash for you. I don't have anyone else to keep me company." He chuckled nervously.

I could see the pain written all over his face even though he was trying to hide it. Kiara couldn't say no to that request. She immediately handed Splash over and hugged Theo.

"I love you, Theo." She said to him. "Everything is going to be ok, I promise you."

"Thanks, Kiara." He said to her.

"Take care of yourself. And Splash." She said.

"Take care of Vidal." Theo said.

"I will. Don't worry." She giggled.

He took Splash and off he went to his car.

We got into the jet and we were off. Kiara got scared when we first took off, but it was a smooth flight and she got over the fact that we were higher in the sky than she'd ever been.

"Where are we going?" She asked.

"We'll have to wait and see." I told her.

"Alright." She giggled.

The flight was a pretty long flight. Nine hours of sitting on a jet together. We played video games and I told her stories about my past. We napped and ate a bunch of snacks.

"Vivi. Where do you think we're going?" She asked me.

"I don't know. Where do you want it to be?" I asked her.

"Uhm... maybe Italy... Mabel is there... or... maybe Paris, the city of love!" She said, making me smile.

"You want to go to Paris?" I asked her.

"I do. With you. It would be special." She smiled.

"Paris would be nice. We could see the Eiffel Tower." I smiled.

"I heard it's pretty at night." She said.

"Momma told me about when her and Dad went." I said.

"Really? What did they do?" Kiara asked me.

"She said that there was this amazing bakery that they got breakfast in. She told me they went to see the Eiffel Tower, but their trip was mainly to see France. So they didn't just stay in Paris. They went to other beautiful places in France." I said.

"Can we go to France one day? Even if it's not this trip?" Kiara asked me.

"Sure thing." I smiled. "We can go anywhere you want to."

"Momma showed me the flamingo picture.... I wanna go there too." Kiara said.

"Where do you want to go after we get married? Like for our honeymoon?" I asked her.

"The Maldives! Please!" Kiara said.

"Alright. The Maldives it is." I smiled.

"The water there is so pretty!" She said.

"It is... it's pretty warm there too. And we can get a place on the beach and rent it out for the month. We can sleep in and stay up for hours, beautiful, hot, pleasurable hours." I winked at her.

"Stop." She giggled, smacking me and turning bright red.

"Do you think it'll be hard for you to experience that? Maybe the first time will be a little scary?" I asked her cautiously.

"I don't know. I think it's going to be fine. You've touched me everywhere already. I might be nervous about actually doing it. But, I love you, Vivi. I trust you with my life." She said to me.

"I love you too, baby. I'll be gentle and slow of course." I said to her.

"At first." She nodded, turning red.

"I'll always be gentle." I assured her.

"No. Please don't be." She said, her face turning so red that I was a little concerned.

"You want me to be rough?" I asked her, turning red myself and raising an eyebrow at her.

"Yes." She nodded, hiding her face.

"I'll be whatever you want me to be." I told her.

"Is it bad that I'm... excited." She said.

"No I think it's perfectly normal and in my opinion it's amazing that you're excited." I said to her.

"It doesn't make me.... Indecent?" She asked.

"No, Kiwi. It doesn't. It's normal to want these things." She said.

"I never wanted it before we started kissing and stuff." She told me.

"I know." I nodded, kissing her forehead.

"I'm more excited for our adventures though." She said to me.

"What adventures?" I asked.

"Adventures. Like what we're doing now. And our honeymoon will be an adventure. We'll have lots of adventures. Even just things like throwing Micah off a balcony so we could get out of the house. That kind of thing. Every little thing. Every day can be an adventure." She giggled.

I chuckled and pulled her into my lap.

"I can't wait for that either." I said to her.

"You and the girls are going to have fun designing the perfect dress, aren't you?" I asked her.

"Yes! I'm so excited for that! But... you have to propose first, Vivi. Don't forget that you control the timeline more than I do!" She said to me.

"I know. I know." I chuckled.

"Vivi.... I'm curious about something." She told me.

"What is it?" I asked her.

"You packed that box that you wouldn't let me open when Remi found it in the closet.... What is it? What's in it?" She asked me.

"Hm.... I guess you'll have to wait. I'm not ready for you to know that just yet." I said to her.

"That's not fair. We promised no secrets." She pouted.

"Don't pout like that. It's not fair. You'll know eventually, I promise you." I said to her.

"Fine. At least tell me something. A little hint?" She asked.

"It's a little something for you... I've been working on it for a long time." I said to her.

"You've been working on it?" She asked me.

"Yeah. You'll see, baby." I said to her.

"Ok.... Fine." She said.

"Can we have more brownies?" She asked me.

"Yup." I told her, grabbing the plate of brownies from the seat behind me and letting her have as many as she pleased.

It wasn't long before we landed, and when we did, we both got off the jet. I thanked the pilot and then he smiled at Kiara said.

"I hope you enjoy your trip, Miss."

"Thank you." She smiled.

Then she stopped him when he tried walking away.

"Hold on a second. Where are we?" She asked the pilot.

And he turned around to tell her what I already knew. I hoped that she liked this trip and that the proposal wasn't too basic. I mean to be fair I flew her all the way here, so it wouldn't exactly be underwhelming. But, I just didn't know if it would be enough. I guess I'd just have to wait and see what she thought.
