《Come Back To Me, Kiwi.》Chapter 59 - Showers and Snowstorms

"Hey, Kiwi! I'm taking a shower before we leave!" I called out.

"To the mansion?" She asked me.

"Yeah." I said.

"But it's snowing really hard, baby... I don't know if we'll make it." She said.

It was rare for us to have this much snow. Usually it was hotter here, but there was a snowstorm and it didn't look good.

"We're going to have to." I said. "The storm is really bad. The power might cut any minute."

"Oh." She said, not being used to snowstorms at all.

"It's alright. Get changed baby. It's going to be really cold out." I said to her, but she pushed open the door and she eyed my bare chest. She pushed me underneath the shower head and turned the water on even though both of us were still clothed.

Before I knew it, she was pulling me into a kiss. I pulled away with a smile on my face.

"What're you doing, baby?" I asked her.

"I don't really know. But I have a goal... so just... Kiss me." She said.

I grabbed her by the waist and pulled her into another heated kiss. She kissed back with just as much fire and she started to unbutton her blouse. I pulled away and objected.

"Hey... wh-what are you doing?" I asked, putting my hand over hers to stop her.

"Stop it." She said, continuing to unbutton her blouse.

She pulled it off, and then she slipped her pants off and then her bra and then her panties and there she was, standing before me like an angel sent from heaven. But I didn't understand what she was trying to do.

"Hey... Kiara... I don't know what's gotten into you, but... you have to think for a second, baby... what're you doing?" I asked her.

"You're the man I love, Vidal... the man who I want to touch me and to see me like this... I've been seen like this by a bunch of horrible people, and I know maybe that's not very nice to hear, but it's just a fact. So how come they got to see me and you didn't see it until now? It felt wrong. So please, look at me." She said.

"I'm not like those people. I don't need to see you naked, baby." I said to her.

"I want you to see it. Because you're the only one who deserves to, but others already have." She explained to me.

I was trying my hardest not to look down past her face, but she was the most beautiful thing I'd ever seen. How could I resist for long?

"Fine. You don't like it?" She asked me, turning to leave.

"Come back to me, Kiwi." I said, grabbing her arm before she left.

"It's ok. You don't have to like how I look." She told me, looking down at her feet.

I hooked my finger under her chin and lifted her head.

"Kiara. I need to be able to control myself, baby. That's why I can't look right now." I told her.

"But I just want you to." She said to me.

"I've never done anything like this before. I'm scared." I told her.

"You're scared to see me naked?" She asked in confusion.

"Yes. I don't know it's just.... I don't know if my reaction is going to be weird or... I don't know. I don't know how to act." I told her.

"Kiss me." She whispered, standing on the tips of her toes and coming closer to me.

I didn't need her to ask twice, kissing her was my favourite thing to do. As we kissed, she held onto my wrists and then pulled away, connecting our foreheads. She slowly moved my hands down and had me touch her in places I usually hesitated to touch.

I would do it for her though. If she needed me to touch her, then I'd touch her. If this was what helped her move past things, then I'd do it.

I finally looked down at her gorgeous body, my hands roaming freely along her figure as I touched her soft skin.

"I've never seen anything so beautiful in my life." I smiled, kissing her forehead.

"Do you really believe that?" She asked me.

"Yes, baby. This is beyond anything I ever could've imagined." I said to her.

"You know... when you touch me and look at me, it makes me feel like all that other bad stuff is erased." She said to me.

"Really? You feel that way?" I asked her.

She nodded, pecking me on the lips with a smile.

"Vivi... when can I see you?" She asked me, looking down at the one area that had still remained concealed.

"Uhm... have you seen a guy down there before?" I asked her.

"Y-yeah. But it wasn't by choice." She said to me looking upset about that fact as well.

"I know. But that makes me nervous to show myself to you." I told her.

"Why?" She asked me.

"Well... guys get insecure about how big they are down there. I don't know what's big and what isn't... I wouldn't say I'm big, but I don't think I'm small... but that's really up to your judgement, isn't it?" I asked her.

"Take the boxers off." She said, looking back at her pile of wet clothing.

"As you wish." I chuckled, feeling my hands shake just slightly as I removed my boxers from my body.

She pulled me into another kiss after she looked down at my naked body.

"Can you say something?" I asked her between kisses.

"You're big." She said, her fingers running along my arm.

I shook my head at her and chuckled. My cheeks turning red at her words.

"Thanks, I guess." I said.

"Can we shower together quickly?" She asked me.

"That's probably a good idea." I smiled.

"Will you brush and blow dry my hair after?" She asked me.

"Of course, baby." I smiled, kissing her forehead.

"I love you, Vivi. And I can't wait to marry you so we can do... stuff." She said to me.

"Is that the only reason you want to marry me?" I chuckled.

"Of course not!" She giggled.

"Why else do you want to marry me?" I asked her as I started shampooing my hair.

"Because you're safe and smart and so fun to be with. I want to live with you forever and I want to never leave your side. We can be partners in crime and help each other through everything. And no one will be able to separate us." She said softly.

"No one will ever be able to separate us, ok?" I said softly, leaning down and kissing her again.

She kissed me back, and we lost track of the time, kissing like our lives depended on it.

"We have to go, we have to hurry." She said to me after she finally regained her control.

"You're right." I nodded, restraining myself.

We finished our shower and we got dressed in the warmest clothing we could find. It was getting pretty cold.

"Vivi, I've never been out in the snow." She told me.

"You haven't?" I asked her.

"No." She said, smiling out the window at the snow.

"Wow. It's snowing really hard." I said.

"Let's go. Quickly." She said, taking my hand after throwing her jacket and mittens on.

"Boots." I said, seeing her go for the sneakers.

She nodded and put on the new boots I'd bought for her. After I was ready, I put a hat on her pretty head and off we were.

Unfortunately, when we got to the car, it wouldn't turn on.

"Alright. Are you ready to hike through the snow?" I asked her with a sigh.

She smiled and nodded vigorously. She was very fascinated by snow. It was her first time out while it was snowing, so she was excited.

"It's so pretty." She said to me.

"It is. But we have to hurry or we'll freeze out here." I said to her.

"Ok, hurry." She giggled, taking my hand and dragging me towards the street.

She was so fascinated by the snowflakes and how they had pretty designs. But as she got colder, she started liking our little hike through the storm a lot less.

We we're walking by a building when all the power shut off in it and it was left black. The only reason we were going to the mansion is because it had its own generator, so we'd have power even when the city's power shut off. But if that generator stopped working, we were basically screwed for a little while. My family didn't do very well with the cold.

"Vivi.... How long until we get there?" Kiara asked me.

"Uhm.... Not long." I said.

"How long is not long?" She asked me.

"Like twenty minutes." I said to her.

She groaned and cuddled closer to me as we walked on the recently plowed road. It didn't take us twenty minutes to get there, it took half an hour and both of us were shivering violently.

Aunt Sophie opened the door for us and she helped us out of the winter clothes, trying her best not to get wet in the process. We left everything by the door, changed into dry, warm clothing and joined everyone near the fireplace. Eleanor and Juliet as well as Ava were with us at the mansion that day. But there also another girl that I'd only ever seen at Arabella's graduation a month back in December. It was January now.

The girl's name was Rosalie, I remembered that much, but I didn't really know anything about her. I could tell she wasn't very happy at all and Evan's eyes were glued to her. He was very intrigued. She sat between Arabella and Aunt Em and they had big heavy blankets wrapped over their shoulders.

"Hey, Ari! I need your help, Angel!" Aunt Sophie called, which left Evan to move closer to Rosalie.

He eyed her hesitantly. He didn't know if he should wrap his arm around her the way he had just been holding Ari. For the sake of warmth, he definitely needed to.

"Come here, Evan. It's cold." His mother said, pulling him closer to Rosalie by force.

He put his arm around Rosalie and he couldn't help the smile that formed on his face and the blood that rushed to his cheeks.

"They're cute together." Kiara whispered.

I nodded, kissing my Kiwi on her forehead and snuggling into my mother's arms, letting Eleanor crawl into my lap beside Kiara.

"Hi, Firefly." Eleanor whispered.

"Hi, Whiz." I said, kissing her forehead.

"Daddy and Momma are cuddling." She giggled.

"Does that make you happy?" I asked her.

"Yes!" She cheered in a hushed voice.

I looked over at my brother to see him rubbing Juliet's arm and holding her close. She had her legs thrown over his lap and he was kissing her forehead. She smiled over at me and waved.

"Hey, Sis. Has he driven you crazy yet?" I asked her.

"Of course." Juliet chuckled, shivering in my brother's arms.

"Hey." He laughed, shivering as well.

"Is the generator down? Why is it so cold?" I asked.

"It shut off half an hour ago." Theo answered me.

"Momma.... Did you check it out?" I asked her.

"Yeah. Your father and I did. It's not coming back on." Momma told me.

"Shoot. It's freezing." I sighed, rubbing Kiara and Eleanor's backs.

"You're warm, Firefly." Eleanor whispered.

"Well, my nickname is Firefly... of course I'm warm. I have to be, right?" I chuckled.

The little girl nodded her head, snuggling deeper into my grasp.

"Bro. Take the girls." Micah said to Theo, placing them in their Uncle's lap. They curled up tighter and peaked at Eleanor through his hold.

"Who are they?" Eleanor asked me.

"Your cousins." I told her.

"What are their names?" She asked me.

"Mia and Mila." I told her.

"But they look the same." She said.

"Yup, they're twins." I told her.

"Like Granddad and that man?" She asked, pointing to uncle Rico.

"You can tell who's who?" I asked her.

"Yeah, but it's a little bit hard." She said.

"Yeah, you're right, it is." I chuckled.

"Do you think when the storm stops, you and me and Cupcake and Daddy and Momma and Mia and Mila can go out in the snow and build a snow castle?" Eleanor asked.

"I think that would be really fun." I chuckled.

"And maybe everyone else too." She said, looking around at everyone.

"Yup. It would be so fun." I said to her.

"Mhm. And who's the sad lady? Daddy told me everyone's name before she came." Eleanor said.

"That's Rosalie." I said softly.

"Who is Rosalie?" Eleanor asked.

"She's Aunt Ari's friend." I said.

"Oh. But how come she's cuddling with Uncle Ev?" Eleanor asked me.

"Well, you wanna hear my secret?" I asked her.

"Yes, please, Firefly!" She said in excitement, rubbing her cheek against my shoulder.

"I think Uncle Evan likes her." I said, making her giggle and put her hand over her mouth.

"They look good together, like you and Cupcake and like Momma and Daddy." She said softly.

"I think so too." I said to her.

Now here we were, everyone had someone, and Theo was sulking. I decided that despite my loyalty to Theo and his wishes. I was done watching him suffer like this. As soon as I could gather everyone but him, I was going to issue a search for Mabel. She belonged in this family, but both of them were just scared to find each other with someone else. But they were both loyal as hell and there was no way Mabel was with someone.

I would find my twin's girl. I would. I had to. I needed my brother to smile again like he used to.
