I was ready by 5. I went downstairs to wait for Kate.

"Where are you going?" Rita said. She is of the same age as me. Rosy the other sister, is 1 year older than us.

"None of your business," I replied.

"You live in our house." She said.

"The food, clothes, and other things that come to your house is from my company." I retorted.

"How dare you? It was my parent's hard work that took your company to this level." She barked.

"Yes, it is your parents 'hard work' to destroy my company," I said sarcastically.

"When did it become yours? It's our company." She said. She looked like she wants to hit me.

"Dream on girl. It's mine and always be mine." I said.

"Let's see what will you tell mom when she will hear about the things you are saying. You don't even have a home." She smirked at me.

"Yeah, yeah, go ahead and tell them. Just remember, I accidentally took a picture of you and the boy who was picking up the trash kissing at the backyard. It was a complete coincidence, but it won't happen when your parents see it. What do you think, your mom will do after seeing your taste in boys?" I told her, waving my phone at her.

"You won't..." before she could finish I heard the car horn. Kate is here I guess.

"Sorry cousin, my friend is here. Tell your mom that I am going for shopping. I'll be late." I said dismissively.

"You ready? Let rock it gal."

We played songs on the radio on full volume.

We found a parking spot near the mall entrance. We parked the car and entered the mall with style.

Mom-dad, I am happy fun. After so long. I hope you don't mind me being disobedient to my uncle and aunt. I have friends now. I will be all right now.

The first shop that we raided was of dresses. I don't have many dresses. I usually wear Tees and jeans.

We both took a bunch of dresses we entered the trial rooms which were facing each other. So when we were all dressed we can show it to each other.

The first one I wore was a white tube dress, with a slit on the right side on it. It was good, but too much showy for my taste.

I opened the curtain and she opened it at the same time. She was wearing a black baggy type dress.

"What are you wearing?" I asked.

"Yeah, I know. This dress looks good on you, but I can tell it's not your style. Next." She said. We tried next and then next. We liked a dress for her, but for me, we could not decide.

I was too tired to try any more.

"We are in this shop for almost two hours. When will we have time to look for others?" I asked tiredly.

"Just last, please. This is for you. I want you to wear a beautiful dress every day. So that everyone can see how pretty you are." She insisted.

I get in. This one is of turquoise color. It looked beautiful. I wore it. It was of lace material. I looked in the mirror. It looked amazing.

I was feeling shy to come out and show her. She was literally counting, if I don't come out she will not talk to me.

I took a deep breath and opened the curtain.

She looked at me. I was looking down, waiting for her to say something.

Then a pair of shoes comes near me.

Was not she wearing sandals? Did she buy these, but why would she buy men's shoes.

Then I heard the camera clicking sound. I looked up and my eyes met with the very familiar brown eyes, but those are not of Kate.

" Xavier, why are you here?" I asked hesitantly.

"I called them. It will be more fun with them." Kate replied.

I looked again at Xavier. He was staring at me without blinking.

Can anyone tell him, that he is behaving too boldly in front of everyone?

"Xavier," I called him out of his dream world.

"Yeah. I'm here. What? You are looking... You are... Looking beautiful." He said. Still in a daze. Why is he behaving like this?

"Xav, you will a dug hole in her, with your stare." Said, David.

"Yes, Xavy. I am afraid if you stare at her a little longer, she will turn permanently red. Look at her cheeks." Kate came over me and pinch my cheeks.

"Let's go, Chica. We are buying this one." Kate said, looking at the dress.

"So now, what's next? Where to go?" David asked.

"Let's just eat something first. She tired of me already." I said after paying for the dress.

Xavier took the bag from my hand and hold my hand in his.

"I know where we should go." He took us towards someplace. It was an ice cream parlor.

We sat on the table that was free. David and Xavier went to buy the ice cream for all of us.

"The dresses are pretty but we can't wear them on regular days. Where we will wear them?" Asked Kate.

"Maybe on my birthday party," I replied.

"Yes. That's awesome. When is that?" She asked again.

"24 October," I replied.

"Wow. There are only two months left in it. We will celebrate it together." she got so excited after hearing that.

The boys were taking longer, so we looked at the counter where they were. I saw two girls, flirting with the boys.

I felt bitter, after seeing this. I frowned.

Why would I feel that? I want to hurt that girl. I'm not an aggressive person, then why my heart is beating so fast?

I avoided them and looked at Kate. But she was not there. Where did she go? I looked around and she was standing with the boys.

"You are a worker here, they just do your job. Don't keep eyes on the other girl's men." Kate shouted at the girls.

Kate. Kate. Kate. What the hell are you doing? Everyone is looking at you.

"And who are you to tell us that? They are alone and seem very interested in us too." One of them said.

Kate gave a look to David and immediately he puts his hands up and looked very scared.

"No baby, it's not true. I'm really not interested. I am innocent. Why would I look anywhere else, when I have you, baby." He said hurriedly.

I was shocked.

When did that happen? They are together now. It's been just one day for them to meet.

"You two are together? Since when?" Xavier asked the same question.

"Well, we still are in process. She didn't say yes yet." David smiled at Kate but Kate glared at him.

"And now I doubt I will ever say yes to you. You can have this... this thing all you want." Kate made a disgusting face looking at the counter girl.

"Let's just go from here. Otherwise, she will kill these girls." Xavier said. Taking Kate away from those girls.

Xavier again took my hand and went out of that parlor. We go to the shoe store, next. We were having so much fun. Kate told David to wear a high heel and walk for his punishment. And he did that.

We were laughing so loudly that the shop owner literally kicked us out, saying we are disturbing the others.

Then we went to a gift shop. It was big and sparkly. I and Kate went to look for bracelets. There were so many of them. We like the one with lots of charms hanging on it. Then we looked for soft toys when we heard something strange.

"Hello, Hello... Alpha team. Your mission is to bring back the hostage, unharmed." Someone said in commanding voice but we knew who he was.

'David.' We both said together. Then we heard another voice.

"Roger that. The target is just in front of me. I think I can save her." Said Xavier.

"What the hell are they doing?" Kate asked.

"I don't know. Let's see." I replied and we peeked a little and saw that they both were holding toy walkie talkie.

"They really have lost their minds," I whispered.

"Yes, they have." Kate agreed.

We saw how cautiously Xavier was approaching a 'DOLL'.

Seriously, they really have lost it.

As was about to take the doll Kate threw a ball at it and the doll fell down.

"Oops, you missed the target." Said Kate. She winked at the boys and they were looking at her dumbfounded.

"Come on little boys, we have shops to raid." She said loudly for the boys to hear, but the other people heard her too.

"She was just kidding. Please don't mind." I tried to cover for her.

I paid for the bracelets and bid my goodbye to them.

As we exit that shop, Xavier again took that little bag from my hand and took my hand in his.

We were holding hands the whole time. I don't think he realizes that because he was not feeling conscious about it like I am.

At last, Kate was satisfied and we all were hell tired. We bought ice creams but from some other shop and we exit the mall. It was dark outside.

I looked at the time. It was past 9. I still don't want to go home. The argument I had with Rita. I don't want to hear anything from my aunt.

"Let's have a girl's night out. We can try all the clothes we bought today and will have so much fun, the whole night. What you say?" Asked Kate excitedly.

"Wow, we will have fun the whole night together." Said David, jumping.

"It's a girls night out babe. You are not allowed." Kate said busting his happy bubble.

"Why?" David asked with a long face.

"It's okay bro. We will have brothers night out at our home." Xavier said comforting David.

"Like that's what I want," David replied.

I agreed and called my uncle. It is safe to call him and tell him this. I just told him I'm staying at a friend's house tonight. That's all and I didn't wait for his reply. I cut the phone.

I hope tomorrow will be okay. They don't care that much about me.

We parted our ways with the boys. Kate's house is beautiful. It's as big as mine.

As we entered, her parents were going out.

"Darling, you brought a friend. That's good. We are heading out. We have an emergency case to handle. Lock all the windows and doors properly. Love you baby. Have fun." His mom said.

With that, they left us alone in the house.

Tonight will be really fun.
