"You really should talk to him" She suggested whipping out a large tub of ice cream from the freezer and digging in.

"Or...I could just eat some ice cream!" I laughed as I pounced on her, grabbing the tub and making a run for it.

I sprinted through the hallways, Lilliana chasing behind me, I was becoming out of breath and the never lasting laughter wasn't helping.

I halted when I stopped hearing footsteps behind me, I expected her on the floor out of breath surrendering, but when I turned around she was just standing there with wide eyes, she looked like she'd seen a ghost.

"What?" I questioned, my brows furrowed.

"I think you should see this" She whispered gesturing me to come over, she was stood directly in front of one of the doors, I think it was Kai's room, the door was slightly open just enough to peek inside.

I was so busy running away from her that I didn't even hear all the giggling coming from his room.

I crept over to the door, only to see him in bed with who I'm assuming was Katerina...of course. How stupid of me to think they were actually over.

"Shit, I'm sorry Celia" Lilliana sympathised rubbing my shoulder.

"It's fine. Lets just go" I mumbled, my lip quivering, my emotions were all over the place. Seeing your mate in bed with another isn't the best feeling in the world, this made me wonder, maybe it was time for me to leave, get back to my life.

We were turning back when one of the floor boards made a loud creek.

"Oh shit" I breathed in panic.

"Who's there?!" A sharp voice yelled, a flare of sudden overwhelming emotions washed over me.

Me and Katerina don't exchange anything other than glares, but I most definitely know that this wasn't her voice.

I craned my neck towards Lilliana who was frozen in her spot.

We both trudged hesitantly towards the open slit in the door and pushed it wide open.

Oh no, shits about to go down! And to think I thought this was just another boring ol pack.

There was my dear mate the Alpha, in bed with no other than...Reign.

"Lilliana!" Reign blurted shooting upright.

"It's not what it looks like" She shrieked desperately trying to tug on her clothes.

"Really?! Because it looks like your CHEATING ON ME!" Lilliana roared in anger.

"I'm sorry" Reign sobbed.

She was about to attack, I could see the anger in her eyes, at this moment Lilliana could probably tear someone's throat out.

But before she could get any closer I clasped onto her t-shirt and tugged her back,

"It's not worth it" I breathed in her ear.

Tears began running down her cheeks, I wrapped my arm around her as she leaned against me and walked her away from the room, giving a last dirty look at Reign and Kai...piece of shits.

1hour later

"What am I going to do now" She sobbed as she chucked another scoop of ice cream into her mouth.

"I promise that you'll be fine. I never liked her anyway" I scoffed thinking about the events that just took place, I always knew their was something fishy about that girl, always "busy" more like busy doing it with my mate.

"Thanks...you're a good friend Celia" she sniffled blowing her nose.

Guilt rushed through me, the truth is I really wasn't a good friend, as far as she knows I'm just a rogue who ran away from her pack to have more "freedom" but that isn't the whole truth...if she knew the real story, or anyone for that matter, they'd all see me differently.

They'd see me as a monster.
