《Corrupted, Damaged, And Beautiful》F I F T E E N

As we strolled along the freshly cut grass, hand in hand, I couldn't help grinning. I had Hopes tiny hand buried in the other, as she wanted to show me her favourite part of the park; her tiny little face was too hard to say no to. she had her mothers gorgeous sapphire irises, making her 'puppy eyes' extra hard to resist.
The park was a main attraction where we lived, it was more than just a playground for children. Surrounded by metal black fences, assigned with gates that locked every night at eight exact, it was enclosed making it feel safe. We had just trekked an extra long pathway towards the huge pond located in the middle. There were bunches of flowers, rose bushes, willow trees, oak trees etc. all placed together, coordinated to look attractive. They were also blocked by a small metal fence to prevent them being damaged. The trees blocked the light, but the colour exposed from the plants was vibrant and vivid; different shades of purples, pinks, yellows and reds were scattered around us compensating the blocked sun.
After strolling along the patch of grass adjacent to the pathway, predominantly used as a picnic area, we reached the pond.
"look the duckies" Hopes small lips spread into a smile exposing her milk white baby teeth. My automatic reaction was to pick her up so she could see further along the pond, as there was a small wall to prevent children trying to go in.
"Is this okay?" I whispered to Daisy, gesturing to Hope in my arms.
As I fully turned to face her, waiting for her reply anxiously, she was already staring. Initially it was an expression I couldn't read, but then it morphed into adoration. I could see the warmth behind her eyes.
"Of course it is" she replied.
I returned her answer with a smile, focusing my attention back to Hope. She had her small arms engulfed round my neck with her head bobbing up and down, as she explained all the times she had fed the 'duckies' with mommy. I took every word in. Listening, and devoting all my time to her. I always loved children, so this wasn't scary to me. If anything I was in my element.
"Look at that one! That ones big! Mommy look!!" She wiggled her index finger, shouting as loud as her two year old lungs could allow her, as she became fascinated with a swan.
"I see it sweetie, what's it called?" Daisy asked from beside me.
"A swan!" Clever little girl.
"I never asked you, what do you do?" The question was unexpected. Completely out of context for what we were just literally doing. I was caught of guard. Do I tell her? I don't want to physically lie, but how do I know she won't try take my money?
"Erm I work for this company, it called 'choco galore'" I tried not to look at her as I said it. I was about to swallow my pride, and do something that could completely wreck us.
"What do you do there? If you don't mind me asking that is" her genuine interest in me made my chest tighten. I couldn't believe what I was doing.
"I'm a PA"

"To the owner?" She was impressed, and I couldn't help kick myself over how impressed she might of been if I just said the truth.
"Er yeah"
"Wow. That's really cool. Bet you get stressed out a lot though" she seemed concerned with my wellbeing, making this even harder.
"Sometimes yes, just a little. What about you?" I wasn't just trying to change the subject, I was also interested in what she worked as. I can't believe I never asked before.
"I work in a private nursery. I'm a teacher so I work with children Hopes age up to age four. I really love it, it's so rewarding I love children" she wasn't just saying it, I could see it written all over her face. The uncontrollable smile that grew as soon as I asked was a sign. She also looked at Hope with love as she said it too.
"Now I'm impressed. That sounds lovely, Daisy. I like that"
"What do you mean?" Her eyebrows furrowed together as she asked.
"I don't know I just think that shows what type of person you are beautiful" I couldn't help being over sweet, I really did think that. The fact that she has a child, and works with them, shows me how much of a caring, sincere, wonderful woman she is. Something I really want. Now I feel even worse for lying, I didn't even think that could be possible. How was I telling her the truth now? She was a kind, honest person and I lied to protect myself, when really I was just hurting us both by doing it.
Despite all this contradiction in my head, I was still staring into her beautiful face, admiring how gorgeous she is. I was beyond lucky to have met her.
"What?" She smiled shyly at me, her face growing crimson.
"You're just so beautiful"
"Mommy he called you beautiful" Hopes tiny giggle was contagious to us both, as we both laughed at her. Too cute.
"Hope shall we go get some ice cream?"
"Yes mommy please!" She beamed straight at us both, her head turning to each of us.
"Let's go then" Daisy led the way to the ice cream stand, as I kept Hope in my arms.
I couldn't help watching the sway of her hips, how amazing her bum looked in that dress, and how beautiful her hair was cascading down her back. She was seriously stunning all over. I couldn't wait to run my hands through that hair again, and roam my hands all over her bare body.
I hadn't notice her slightly turn her head until she stopped walking, eyeing me with a cheeky grin on her face.
"What?" I feigned confusion. Acting as if I hadn't just been staring at her whole body thinking unspeakable things.
She looked at Hope then turned back around to carry on. Whatever she wanted to say she couldn't because of Hope. That made me nervous for several reasons: what if she was annoyed? Or what if she wasn't and couldn't say something because of Hope? I was excitedly hoping for the latter.
Less than two minutes later we came to an ice cream stand located right next to the playground. Which was excessively huge.

"Hope sweetie here's your ice cream. Go sit on that bench over there" she pointed to a bench directly in front of us, and then swivelled her head to me while still trying to watch Hope.
"Like what you saw?" She raised her eyebrows giggling at me. My obvious reaction was to giggle back, then grab her waist.
"You know I liked what I saw" she was still trying to share her attention between the two of us, so I pulled her lips to mine in a quick kiss allowing us to go back to Hope. The last thing we need is Hope going missing.
"Mmm, I might just of enjoyed that" she answered as she pulled me towards Hope. I don't know about her, but the heat had just picked up. And all I did was get a peck. I was desperate to share that woman's body, claiming it as my own.
The rest of our day was perfect. We spent the whole afternoon at the park, deciding on a light chippy lunch around sixish. It had been one of the best days I'd had in a long time, especially with a woman. I just had to drop them off at home, which was making my chest tighten at the thought.
"Thank you so much for today Nate. We've really enjoyed ourselves" as she gazed into my eyes, I heard the faint noise of snoring from Hope in the back seat.
"It's okay, I enjoyed myself too. I'm sorry if I tired her out too much"
"No don't worry this is good, she could do with a bath but she can have one tomorrow. I'll be spending the night in bed myself my feet are aching" she exaggerated, but it was cute.
We pulled up in front of her house, and I couldn't stop the comment that left my mouth next.
"Well I could always come in and give you a foot rub? It is my fault after all, I did recommend us going to the park" I was being hopeful, way too hopeful. The look on her face told me she didn't want to invite me in, and I couldn't help feel disheartened. I honestly, despite how I feel, wouldn't dare try anything with her. She just needed to understand that, which I get is difficult. There's something underneath this beautiful woman that has lowered her trust.
"I'm sorry I shouldn't of said -" I rubbed my neck, awkward from my unsuccessful proposal, as she jumped in to stop me.
"No it's not that I don't want you to, I'm scared what it might lead to. I don't know if I'm ready yet" wincing at her own words, she looked down from me.
"I'm not trying to persuade you to change your mind, that's fine I'm okay with that, but I need you to know I would never rush you. Or pressure you. Ever." I had to be as clear as possible, as I feared she would never trust me.
"I want you to come in though." She spoke quietly. Like she was having a debate with herself.
"Hey, it's okay. It's honestly fine, as much as I would love to cuddle up with you on the sofa, I understand." I grabbed her right hand, interlocking it with mine. I loved touching her. The spark of electricity passing through our touch was enough to stop my heart. She was doing something to me. Something incredible, yet scary at the same time. Hopefully she felt it too.
"Just being with you makes me sleepy"
"Thanks" I laughed, hoping she didn't mean it how it sounded.
"Oh my god, no. I didn't mean it like your boring or something." She broke out into a complete fit of hysterics. I watched as her face lit up from the laughter, glowing from her impeccable smile.
"I just mean you make me feel so relaxed, comfy, and..." her soft, angelic voice had returned. I was nervous as to why she stopped before she said the next word.
"Special. I feel important with you" two dates, and I'd made the woman feel important. I was truly happy with myself, but also over the moon that she felt that way.
"It's how you should feel. All the time" pain crossed her face, as she turned away from me. I'd hit a nerve saying that, only I'd said similar things before, so why the reaction now?
"Thank you again, Nate." She completely ignored the fact she had just reacted that way, and leaned over to grip my face. Delicate, small hands gripped my cheeks, as mine gripped her hair too. She double checked Hope was sleeping, then gently pressed her lips onto mine. Her initial gentleness was contradicted when she instantly intensified the kiss. Her tongue was running across my bottom lip, encouraging me to open up for her, and her nails begun digging into my skin. Hungry, aching, desperation for each other was thick between us. All I wanted was to touch her, devour her entire body, but I couldn't. But I was okay waiting for her, she was someone you waited for. Someone you took your time with.
When she pulled away my lips tingled from desire and pressure of her pouty plump lips on mine. They were so soft.
Biting her lip, catching her breath, she kept a firm grip on the sides of my hair as we took each other in. Her sapphires had darkened with the hunger she'd portrayed, while her lips were swollen.
"Fuck" her language shocked me. I don't think I've ever heard her swear, especially with Hope so close.
"Yeah. Fuck" I replied.
"I'll text you" she answered before pulling away to reach for her bag. The instant distance made me miss her already.
I helped her with Hope, then walked them both to the door. Leaving was the last thing I wanted to do. I already couldn't wait for our third date.
"I'll message you" I pulled her closer, trying not to disturb Hope, engulfing her in another passionate kiss. It was more needy than the last, as we knew it would be our last for a while. Something I hated the thought of.
"Bye Nate" she pulled away, opening the door while still watching me.
"Bye Daisy"
I waited till she was in the house before I drove off. I knew I'd be dreaming of this woman all night, as I couldn't stop the smile spread across my face.
