《TRS #1 : Princezone》Chapter 7 - Weirdo

I was walking into the school building with a really good mood. My dad gave me money to buy a new book after school. I can't wait to go to a bookstore to buy it later.
"Where do you think you're going?" Suddenly someone pulled my bag from the back making my body fall backwards.
"Tell me.. what kind of magic did you use on Logan so he can stick with you like a glue?" Patricia asked me as she sat down on my body.
"Get off me!" I said but her friends helped her to keep me on the ground.
"What did he even see in you? You're so.. plain and ugly." She said as she pushed my chin up with her sharp nail.
"Patricia! Get off me!" I tried to wiggle my body but she didn't even move an inch.
"Stay away from my cute Logan and I'll stay away from you, you poor Estelle." She hissed coldly as she got off me.
"How about you all stay away from us?" I turned my head to see Logan already looking at Patricia coldly. Not only his eyes that turned cold but his whole aura turned cold and scary. He walked slowly towards Patricia like a wolf eyeing his prey.
"If you dare bully Amanda again, I will make sure that you will get what you deserve, Patricia." He looked at her seriously as he cornered her to a wall. He leaned closer to her like he was going to kiss her but he whispered something to her ears.
Patricia's facial expression changed in a split second and she nodded nervously. After that Logan let her go and she left with her minions right away.
Logan walked to me and he gave me his hand so he can help me get up. I took it and he helped me stand up. I patted the back of my skirt to brush off the dust and I straighten up my clothes.

"Thankyou." I said to Logan and he smiled to me. My heart froze that second seeing him smiling at me like that. He patted my head and then he patted my shoulder.
"Glad that I come to school in time." He said but I was still speechless.
"Let's go in, Mandy." He said as he put his arm around my shoulder pulling my body closer to him. I felt my heart beating faster and I can hear it clearly. My cheeks was burning hot and my breathing pattern shortened.
"You need to becareful next time, I might not be around you. You need to stand for yourself." He said as he patted my head again making my soul fly. The butterflies in my stomach went crazy.
"Mandy? Why aren't you talking? Okay.. I understand, you're still in shock." He said as he dragged me to our economy class. As we arrive there, I sat down but still processing what just happened earlier.
"Mandy.. catch!" Before I can respond to it, he threw something to my head. I turned to him slowly and he looked at me confuse.
"Why are you so slow today? Did you dream to be a turtle?" He picked up the thing from the floor and he put it on my desk.
It's a croissant.
"What's this?" I pointed completely acting like an idiot.
"That's a croissant, Mandy. Did you hit your head too hard? Are you having an amnesia?" He asked as he shook my head. I smacked his hand and he laughed.
"You're weird." He said and I opened the plastic of the croissant. I took a bite and my eyes widen.
"Where did you get this from?" I asked as I turned to him pointing at the bread.

"Do you like it? I made it myself!" He said and my expression changed that second. I looked at him flatly and he nodded still admiting that he made it.
"I don't believe you. You look like a person who will put a lot of sugar into your dish when the truth is you're pouring a salt."
"I won't bring you that croissant again." He hissed coldly.
"I'll find this bakery myself." I said as I looked at the croissant seriously.
"Try me.. you will never find it, it's homemade." I shook my head still not believing him.
"You're so stubborn!"
"I don't believe you!" I hissed and we both were glaring at each other now.
"I hate you.." I hissed as I put down the croissant.
"Fine! Don't eat it! I will never give you this croissant again!" He's pissed and I gave the croissant back to him. I took my water bottle and drank it. I took out my notes from my bag and I slowly steal glance at him. He was biting at the two croissants.
"What are you looking at?!" I ignored him and I took a tissue to wipe the crumbs on my lips but I accidently brushed my chin. I groaned in pain.
"What? What happen?" Logan got up from his seat and he checked my face. I gulped when I realize his face was an inch away from mine. He pushed my chin up and I groaned in pain. I guess Patricia's nail must have scratch my lower chin.
"She did this huh?" He said as he looked at the scratch.
"Yeah." I said and he took his bag. He pulled out a bandage and he shoved the croissant to my mouth.
"You bit it!!" I squealed and he just rolled his eyes. He put a bandage on my chin and he gestured me to continue to eat.
"You're annoying.." He hissed as he sat back on his desk.
"Thanks." I said and I took a bite of the croissant.
"Welcome, weirdo."

Needletongue, Carrotcake
The world isn't fair. If anything, the inherent injustice of the world is what separates it from the fiction we so adore. Luis Freighthold knew this all too well, and that was why it took a bit longer than it should have to realise when he suddenly had everything he could ever have wanted. Raised in a working-class single-father home, Luis had no other escape than fiction. Specifically, vampire stories of varying quality and genre. There was something appealing about the ability to fly, turn into shadows and become smoke. Danger. An unfamiliarity with the social world that rejected him so. Was it so wrong for him to hope for a different life? Maybe, maybe not. Either way, now he had it—a lust for blood and abilities beyond the understanding of civil man. Could you really say that he had anything left to complain about? A vampire story following an unconventional vampire boy forced to accept that maybe becoming a vampire doesn't magically solve all your problems. As a matter of fact, it might just make a whole bunch of them even worse. Regardless, Luis is prepared to try everything to live up to the vampire books he had previously gorged on. What did it matter that his vampire form had no teeth, replaced instead by a long, needle-tipped tongue? He was still a vampire, wasn't he? Chapters are around 10 A4 pages long, releasing once a week on Mondays, 01:00 CET.
