"I'm practically a master at this." Rob boasts as he lays another blanket out on the floor.

Rob and I's beds are currently completely covered in pillows, he then decided that it wasn't enough and went and got his blanket stach.

I don't even want to know why he has that. Or where he's been hiding it for that matter....

Whilst this is happening, Axel, Emma and I are standing by the doorway, looking in amusement.

"Do you want me to get more pillows?" Offers Emma, being her usual helpful self.

Way to make me look bad.

"That would be amazing, thank you!" Exclaims Rob.

Emma smiles at his enthusiasm and then scurries off out of the door.

"I'm hungry." Complains Axel.

"For what?" I ask, immediately closing my eyes in annoyance as my dirty mind kicks in.

Axel lets out a chuckle, his laugh deep and husky.

"I'm hungry for a lot of things." Axel whispers to me, his voice low.

Goosebumps immediately appear on my arms, I shiver but stand my ground.

There must be a breeze in here.

"Well I thought you two couldn't get weirder together but I guess I was wrong." Rob interrupts, raising an eyebrow in curiosity. "You two can go get the food for the sleepover then."

"Yeah, funny one." I roll my eyes.

"C'mon Cupcake, for me! You can even use my bank card." He pleads.

"If we're using your money then fuck yeah. C'mon Cupcake." Axel sings, already out of the door.

"You can't use that nickname!" I exclaim, running after Axel.

••••

"Ooo, aren't you a fancy." I tease, looking at Axel's car.

"You're so weird." He rolls his eyes, despite a smile being on his face

Parked in front of me is Axel's car. A fancy back Audi one at that.

I don't know cars, okay?

"I wonder how much mommy and daddy spent on this one." I laugh, enjoying teasing the hell out of him.

"Just get in." He sighs, running a hand through his -incredibly soft looking - brown hair.

Before I can reach the door, Axel opens it for me.

"Damn, chivalry is coming up from the grave." I smile, getting in the car.

Axel laughs and shakes his head. "I'm just being nice."

"Uh-hu. You're still not getting into my pants, if that's your plan." I point out, curious to why Axel is being nice to me.

"That's always my plan, Skylar."

"So we buy everything we can?" I ask, wanting to know the definite plan.

"We're shopping with Rob's card, of course we're buying everything."

Axel drives into the supermarket that's around ten minutes away from the dorm and parks.

We both make our way out of the car and head over to the shopping carts.

"I can't be assed with walking," Axel complains as he approaches the carts.

"You're a Quarter Back, aren't you supposed to be like healthy and active?" I ask.

Especially since it's currently football season, I expected Axel to be a lot more strict on what he eats.

"I eat relatively healthy, but I don't stress about it. I just burn it off in the gym anyway." He shrugs.

That must be why he has drool-worthy arms...

I begin to blush as Axel mentions the gym, we still haven't talked about it, apart from on text.

"Which, by the way, is not the place I expected to see you in." Axel continues, smirking.

We're standing opposite each other on two sides of the cart. Both of us not making an effort to move.

Instead, I glare at him.

"Why? Because you think I'm fat?"

Way to sound insecure, Skylar.

"No, I never said that. I think you have a beautiful body." He justifies, I avoid eye contact in embarrassment. "I didn't see you in the gym, so you must have gone to a dance studio. Which I didn't expect."

I quickly clear my throat and twist my hands together, trying to recollect myself.

"So, are we going in?" I ask, mentally patting myself on my back for being able to mumble a proper sentence. My voice was a bit high pitched, but it's the best I could do.

"No," Says Axel, a dangerous going appearing in his eye. "You're going to push me in."

As soon as he says this, Axel jumps into the cart. His six foot two frame looks hilarious in the tiny steel cart. It looks like a child trying to squeeze into their favourite costume after a growth spurt.

"Okay, lets go!" He exclaims, looking at me expectantly.

"What?" I ask, raising my eyebrows.

"You need to push the cart, c'mon Skylar. I thought you were cleverer than this." He shakes his head disapprovingly.

Just to shut Axel up, I lace my hands on the handle bar on the cart and begin to push.

Or try to, at least.

As soon as I start pushing, the cart's weight, which is basically Axel, over powers me and I begin to slide sideways. The cart follows me and soon enough, we're just staying still and I'm desperately out of breath.

Axel laughs at me from the get-go so soon enough I'm laughing too. I give up pushing and just lean against the handle bars, Axel in front of me because he's still in the cart.

So now here we were, in a desolate car park at nine at night, laughing our heads off. Like two teenagers laughing after their first failed attempt at getting alcohol, amusement and adrenaline running through their veins.

I then realise that Axel's face is very close to my own, very close. His blue eyes seem brighter in the dark light, like the sun dims them but the moon brightens them.

Holy crap, what are my saying?!

Before I let my thoughts go wild, I clear my throat and lean back. Something flashes through Axel's eyes but it vanishes before I can even see what occurred.

"I think you should push." I decide.

"Yeah, I'm pretty much better at everything than you anyway, so it would make sense." Axel smirks and I let out a breath, knowing that his usual self is back.

I reply to his snarky comment by hitting him on the arm.

Repeatedly.

••••

"Alcohol section, the place of dreams." Axel mockingly sighs, with a look of love in his eyes.

"You're ridiculous." I roll my eyes. "Hurry up then, Rob's gonna be mad that we've taken so long."

"Worth it." Axel shrugs.

I can't help but smile at his answer and I immediately turn my face away so he can't see it.

Axel starts pushing the cart again, which now has me in it. After the parking lot situation, he quickly decided that he was better at pushing.

So I agreed, begrudgingly, and hopped in the cart instead.

One of us has to have fun, okay?

So far we've collected chips, a whole load of sweets, three boxes of pizza and some popcorn.

I'm surrounded by food in the tiny cart, but out of stubbornness, I refuse to move.

"Ugh, this isn't fair!" Axel whines, his mouth placed in a frown.

"What isn't fair?" I ask as I reach out of the trolley and grab some of Rob's drink of choice.

Vodka and coke, the thought makes me wanna hurl.

"That I can't drink, football rules." Axel sighs, he spits my confused look and continues to explain. "Some foods are okay but alcohol is a big no-no, coach hates it."

My mind flashes to the two times I've seen the football coach on campus. Both times he'a been angry, with a scowl on his face. He usually marches anywhere he goes.

I voice my concerns to Axel. "Isn't he like super scary?"

"He's more than super scary. He's like I'm-gonna-shit-my-pants type of scary." Axel fakes shuddering and pulls his face into a grimace.

I pinch his cheek and try to straighten out the face. "Stop it." I laugh as I retract my hand.

Why did I touch his face? What am I, a plastic surgeon?

"Telling you though, I cannot drink tonight." He repeats.

••••

"Fina-fucking-lly." Rob cheers as me and Axel walk back into the dorm.

Once we finished getting the supplies for tonight, Axel and I remembered that we had Rob's card. This then lead to us going back round the shop and buying everything we spotted and thought would be 'useful'.

I'm pretty sure we bought vegetables.

I slowly look round the room and realise that the floor has been covered in blankets and pillows. The lights are out but there's a lamp and fairy lights, adding enough light to the room so we can all see properly.

Rob's laptop is up against the desk that we share, acting as a TV.

This looks straight out of Pinterest.

"I want food. What did you buy?" Emma questions, reaching for one of the bags in my hands.

We all immediately get set up with food, I reserve at least a whole pizza to myself and then Rob discovers the drinks.

We all sit down in a semi circle, facing the laptop, when Rob brings out the six pack of beer we bought.

Him and Emma quickly grab one but I refuse.

I look over to Axel, who's beside me, and see the temptation in his eyes.

"Your coach will kill you." I warn.

Axel lets out a big sigh, before reaching over and grabbing the beer that Rob was holding out for him.

"Yeah well, what coach doesn't know won't kill him." He says, before taking his fist drink.

It's going to be a long night.

Well, that was a long chapter! I got a bit carried away ;)

This chapter was very Skylar and Axel based, so let me know your thoughts on it!

By the way, the photo above is how I imagine Axel's car to look! Much like Skylar, I know nothing about cars so don't judge....

I go back to school soon and I'm trying to write as much as I can before I go back, so I basically look like this right now:

Please remember to vote and comment if you enjoyed, I'll be sure to dedicate a chapter to you :)

Much love,
