Diya let out a frustrated groan and sat up from the bed, sighing she tied her hair into a messy bun and wearing her slippers she walked to their closet.

Picking a random pjs and T-shirt she went to their bathroom to shower.

It's been a month since they found out she was pregnant, everything was going smooth and well. Till now she didn't face any morning sickness or any others issues.

It's a week day afternoon- Wednesday to be exact, Arjun went to his office. If you wondering why she was at home at this time and not at her college, it's because Diya quit her job.

After finding about her pregnancy Diya took one week leave from work and stayed at home enjoying the pampering and extra care from her family members. At the end of the week she was ready and prepared to join her work although she was little hesitant thinking about climbing the stairs a lot.

They both even had a talk with her doctor concerning this, who advised Diya to be very careful while using the stairs and not to strain so much climbing up and down.

Diya know that Arjun was also worried about her using the stairs but he didn't suggest or force her to quit working. Because for Arjun his wife's happiness is important than anything else.

He even planned to do something that will make her avoid climbing stairs, he was going to have a meeting with a important member of the management or more like the chairman of the college to change Diya classes mostly in ground floor. He don't know how Diya will react if she get to know about this, but he was going to do this for the safety of his wife and baby.

But that Sunday something happened that made Diya to take the decision to quit her job.

After dinner Arjun and diya were going back to their room talking, while climbing the stairs Diya's foot slipped and she was about fall but Arjun held her waist and saved her.

For a second Diya's heart stopped beating, she was scared and started shaking with tears flowing from her eyes. If Arjun didn't held her in time she would have definitely fallen down and hurted her stomach.

Her other hand was on her stomach in a protective manner, Arjun side hugged her and consoled her saying sweet words.

They both stood there for few minutes until she calmed down and then they went to their bedroom.

That night after talking with Arjun Diya took the decision to quit her job, next day she informed mom and dad like Arjun they were very supportive of her.

For the next few days Arjun noticed that Diya was little sacred while using the stairs and their room being in second floor didn't help.

While he was in home he will accompany Diya, if not he asked mom or dad to help her if she want to go upstairs or downstairs.

Still Arjun was not relaxed, because he know in coming months it will be even more tough for Diya especially to walk up and down so he decided to shift their bedroom to ground floor.

There was only a guest room in ground floor which was small in size, he know it will not be apt for them and the baby.

So after doing some planning and a talk with a interior designer he decided to make the huge family room which was opposite to the the guest room. They rarely use it also it will be the perfect size for them and the baby in the future, it also has a bathroom which is a plus.

And he was going convert the guest room to his home office which will be convenient for him. He shared this with mom and dad but asked them not say anything about this to Diya because he wanted to surprise her.

The work started immediately and was completed in exactly one week, when Diya saw the workers questioned Arjun he said to her that they are doing some interior works in the family room.

Diya said a okay and she didn't question or care about that because her whole concentration was on the variety of dishes that mom was making.

She was craving spicy homemade food so mom made variety of dishes each day to satisfy her cravings. Some days she used to help mom in cooking and took that as a chance to learn new dishes.

After the work was completed and the room was cleaned, their belong were shifted downstairs while mom and Diya went out for the temple.
